From the moment Kelly arrived at our wedding it felt like amateur hour. Even though we met with her in advance of our wedding and sent all the details in writing, she "forgot" pretty much everything we discussed. For example, Kelly forgot to bring the list of family groupings for the family photos. Kelly also forgot that we needed seating for disability accommodations during the family photos and chose a location that required our elderly and disabled guests to walk down a hill and then stand outside in the August heat for almost an hour with no place to sit. Additionally, during the ceremony Kelly's presence was very distracting. We were in a small greenhouse with multiple entrances where she could have easily walked around the guests to get from one point to another but instead she walked down the aisle and in front of our guests multiple times during the ceremony. If it's possible, when we received the photos we were even more disappointed in Jenn Tai Photography. There was a real lack of attention to detail that was visible in the photos and that you expect a professional photographer to be aware of. For example, in several of the photos you can see phones visible in pockets, hand sanitizer clipped to belts, etc. Also, some of the key photos were overexposed and as a result faces or images were so light that detail was lost. We brought a lot of these issues to the attention of the company owner, Jenn, who did her best to address our concerns during post-production editing. Jenn's customer service was great and we know that she worked hard to try to correct the issues. Thank you, Jenn, for doing your best to fix our photos. Overall, we're still not happy with most of our wedding photos, but thanks primarily to Jenn's post-production work we have a small percentage of wedding photos that we love and will cherish.

We interviewed a handful and felt an instant connection. Not only is she super professional and great at what she does, she makes being photographed fun and easy! She photographed both our engagement photos and our wedding. For our engagement photos she made both of us feel super comfortable not only in front of the camera, but also packing on the PDA at Sculpture Park lol. The photos were fantastic and really did capture who we are as a couple! Fast forward to our wedding. She was super organized, able to keep our family in line (it can be like herding cats) but most importantly, she was super inclusive to all of our family and friends. Our photos are beautiful and candid. Looking at them makes you feel like you were there on the day. We will recommend Jenn to all our friends and family and continue to use her as our family grows! When you have little ones it never seems like you have enough pictures of them and we wanted to…read morehave something nice like a picture book so that we will always have it to look at long after the kids have grown up. That's when we found ARBR Pictures. I happen to see some pictures taken by Amanda, photographer and owner, and I knew right away she would be perfect. I loved her pictures and how she made ordinary things, places, events, look artistic and seemed to really capture their essence. I do not profess to be an artist, but I have a very good eye and taste. I knew our two little girls would love her. it is always hard to get our girls to warm up to a photographer in such a short time. We know this because we have tried places like Yuen Lui, The Picture People and other very good photographers, but I knew my girls would love Amanda. Sure enough they were all over her and were practically performing for her as she spent time with them throughout our home taking tons of pictures of them in their natural setting and daily life. We were very pleased with the final product - we got a beautiful picture book, a DVD with all of the pictures she took and in a year or two we will have to have Amanda back again for another session with the girls. It is always kind of awkward having a stranger going throughout your entire house taking pictures, but with Amanda it felt like just having a friend over who also happens to be a fabulous photographer.
