I recently did a Quickie Headshot session with Jenny because I needed a few professional photos for my new business website and marketing. Jenny is a joy to work with. She is incredibly experienced and intuitive about light and color and is very warm, welcoming and fun to work with. She helped me choose wardrobe from the things I had brought, chose complementary backgrounds and directed me expertly for the most flattering shots. After the shoot she quickly pared down the shots to a few dozen which we went through together in order to find the final three. The entire process was smooth and easy and under an hour total. Within just a couple days she had gently edited the photos and emailed me a download link. Super simple and quick! I am not especially comfortable having my picture taken and was apprehensive about the appointment but it was an absolute joy and I couldn't be more happy with the images we ended up with. Thank you so much, Jenny! read more

Jenny is simply an amazing photographer artist. Her crew was wonderful to work with and the photos I received were so much better than I would have expected. I have never looked this perfectly professional and I expect to book many more jobs because of her incredible focus on detail. I wanted to write a Yelp review and noticed every other review is 5 star. Of course. She is that good. For your absolute best look, Jenny Jimenez is the one to call. read more

Great experience even though I hate taking pictures! (Needed a few professional headshots) Jenny was an absolute joy to work with. read more

I needed new updated headshots for my website. I hired Jenny for the photos and Ryann for hair and makeup. The appointment was a month or so out, but totally worth the wait. They made me feel amazing and I got several shots that were perfect. I wanted professional and competent but approachable- they knocked it out of the park! read more

I hate posing for photos. But Jenny made me feel totally comfortable during headshots and family photos and everything turned out great.

Jenny is all the things that we wanted in a wedding photographer that we didn't know we wanted in a wedding photographer! Having never hired a photographer before, it was all a bit overwhelming, especially in the wedding space as there are just SO many options. Before meeting Jenny via Skype, my now husband and I had a conversation with another Seattle-based photographer (also by Skype as we were doing all the planning remotely from Oregon). While this other photographer had a really nice portfolio, we left that lackluster conversation feeling very....meh. Very...discouraged. Then... **Dun dun da dahhhh!!!** Enter Jenny on her magical steed of friendliness, creativity, responsiveness, obvious talent and warmth. She immediately understood the kind of photography that we wanted for our wedding day - FUN! As I explained during that first conversation, we are not the "groom kissing bride's forehead at sunset in a field" kind of couple. She also asked about things we liked to do together and what we loved about each other, seeming genuinely interested and curious about us. Jenny has a knack for making you feel relaxed and free - catching the tiny moments between moments beautifully. We spent about an 1.5 hours before our ceremony galavanting around the streets near our venue for our couples photos. Jenny had previously scouted the area and took us to some awesome nooks that I never knew existed, including a super bright fuchsia wall of an apartment building that I just loved! Following all that, she orchestrated our family portrait time well, even with our two crazy families all over the place. While being the utmost of a professional, Jenny just seemed to blend into the party the entire night. Many of our guests commented about how great Jenny was. Our wedding was on a Saturday night and by Monday evening Jenny had already sent us some teasers, which were all AWESOME and I cannot wait to see the rest! I highly recommend Jenny as a wedding photographer, but heck just for any sort of photography needs you may have!! Jenny is simply wonderful. read more

Amazing experience with Jenny! Great value, fabulous shots. And as someone who is SUPER awkward getting my photo taken, she made me feel at ease, did just the right amount of directing, and managed a bunch of really warm and natural photos. Highly recommend! read more

Jenny is an incredible photographer for weddings! My husband and I are both uncomfortable having our photos taken; she made us feel COMPLETELY at ease, comfortable, and we had so much fun taking our photos with her. She captured beautiful candids, made our family laugh, got the young kids to smile for pictures with her silly faces; and at the end of the day, we have incredible wedding photos that I will cherish forever. When we need family photos in the future we will definitely be giving her a call. read more

We love Jenny and her amazing photos! Our family has used her for every possible event -- a wedding, business headshots, and a large family birthday celebration -- and I think we'd adopt her, if we could. We love her warm, generous spirit that perfectly matches her world-class gifts as a photographer. In every case, the pictures she took were not just stunningly beautiful and perfect but also seemed to magically capture "who we are" in that intangible way that only the most gifted photographers can do. Jenny is simply THE best photographer around by any measure! No one else even comes close. read more

Jenny is the best! She knocked our June 14th wedding out of the park! We were referred Jenny's way by my husband's colleague, who used her services for his wedding waaaay back when and who now swear by her for all his family photo ops. We totally owe that guy dinner. Jenny was professional yet approachable from day 1, and made it a point to get to know us as a couple in our meetings leading up to the big day. She even snooped around our neighborhood to scout out photo ops. She served up none BS and was completely transparent and willing to work with our budget and schedule as they evolved over the final months. Day of, she was on site early and ready to roll. In my experience attending weddings, a detail that has always driven me nuts is the "inconspicuous" photog duo decked out in head to toe Goodwill hues of washed out black getting in everyone's way and standing out like displaced puppeteers. Jenny flew efficiently solo and actually blended in with our guests. She worked the room like an old friend and did her casual wedding magic, making the camera part of the day rather than some foreign, imposing prop sneaking up on people. I'm pretty sure the only part of the event where her role as a paid vendor became obvious to our guests was during the formal wedding party/ family photo shoot. Otherwise, she was at one with the party. Icing on the professional cake, Jenny put herself out to act as a liaison with our various POCs as needed to smooth over stupid details everyone had overlooked, like having lunch plated for us. The highlight of our experience was hands down Jenny's excitement about our location. Our venue was ~6 blocks up the street from our apartment, and she jumped on that opportunity. We were able to hop back to our home for our "couple's only" formal photo time slot after the ceremony, and do some shots inside and out, around the block and up the street. It was more US than anything we could have come up with on our own. Jenny was the sh*t. She was great with kids. She was great with drunk adults. She was great with vendors. She was a dream come true. We've never had a reason to work with a photographer before, but now we can't help but talk about how fun and beautiful our family photos by Jenny will be in the years to come. Seriously - we might need to work out some kind of retainer ;) **Apologies in advance for all the work, but we've already given your info to ALL of our friends. read more

Jenny's background in band/fashion photography leads to a wedding photography experience above and beyond your typical family mugshot scenario. Two years after she shot my wedding in 2006, people are still talking about the photos! She also shot my sister's wedding in 2008. I can't imagine recommending anyone other than Jenny for a photography project. read more

My wife and I met Jenny at a cousin's wedding she was shooting and knew immediately we wanted to book her for our own engagement and wedding photos. She is quite simply a delightful person. For our engagement photos Jenny flew all the way out to New York and made even our tiny apartment work. Jenny is approachable, open, and deft in managing the shoot. She very ably worked around late family members, wrangled distracted children, and captured our night to perfection. We loved the photos so much we've very recently booked Jenny for a fun family summer shoot with our newborn. read more

Can I give Jenny 10 stars? I would if I could. The amount of love imbued into each moment really struck me - whether it's a wedding photo or a crazy moment in the middle of a show. I've assisted Jenny in a variety of settings, and she always makes her clients feel so at ease. She is funny and lovely and so incredibly talented. The moment I got engaged, I called her immediately - I couldn't wait to ask her to shoot my wedding. Seriously, 10 stars, she's earned every one. read more

Jenny did our wedding photos. We couldn't be happier. As you can tell from her gorgeous photos and snazzy website, Jenny is a talented professional. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their photographer. She did everything she promised, and more. When I first perused her photos I thought, "oh, these people look so amazing. I wonder if it's just them, or if I'll really look THAT cool in mine." Hands down, Jenny can capture the right moments and make anyone look stunning. She held our hands whenever we needed her, and when it came to our wedding day, she took charge so that we could stay focused on the important stuff (family, chaos and wine drinkery.) If you want a photographer on the cheap, go elsewhere - and be disappointed later. You won't regret a dime spent on this woman. I suggest booking out in advance if possible. She's a busy lady! read more

We've hired Jenny four times now to photograph our family. She's captured special moments as our family has welcomed new two babies and we're so fortunate to have had her artistic eye on these moments! Jenny connects extremely well with children, and she makes our toddler laugh so much! She's always a total professional, arriving on time/early for the shoots and having already scouted the location. Jenny has an effortless ability to capture both the little and big moments, and opening her gallery is always such a treat. I highly recommend hiring her - you won't be disappointed. read more

I bought the quickie package from Jenny for my business website. I loved her work posted on her website so I drove all the way from the north end in rush hour traffic for the appointment. It was a million percent worth it!! Jenny made me feel very comfortable. We stopped in the middle so she could show me what she had so far. We discussed what I liked and didn't like and why. She took what I said and applied it to the second half of the session, producing a ton of photos that i liked. Then she patiently went through each photo and helped me pick out the top three. The session was quick, easy, pleasant, affordable, and the quality was top notch. read more

The amazing Jenny J took my author pic, and I've never had so many compliments on a picture before. She does great work, and is especially talented at capturing your personality, while making you look great at the same time. I love Jenny's work and can't recommend her highly enough. read more

I was a bridesmaid for a wedding that Jenny shot in 2011and when I got engaged, I knew that I wanted her as my photographer for my own wedding in LA. Jenny is amazing to work with. She is professional, responsive, and accommodating (especially when it came to our many Asian extended family shot). On the day of the wedding, she took charge and everywhere we looked we saw Jenny shooting photos. Many of our family and friends came up to us and told us how great she was. She is great at capturing those truly memorable candid moments that make a wedding so special. Our teasers were stunning and we cannot wait to see the rest of our photos! Thank you Jenny!! read more

Jenny was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted family portraits that were unposed, unique and artistic. She did that and more. She was great with my kid and put us all at ease. The quality and individuality of the shots blew me away. Way more than I expected. Can't say enough. read more

Jenny has been taking staff headshots at my company for many years and we always look forward to working with her. She's a genuine and good-humored person, which makes photography with her fun! Not only does she make our staff feel comfortable in front of the camera, she also delivers high-quality images to us in a timely fashion. The whole experience is organized and easygoing--the ideal combo. I highly recommend her for professional headshots or any photography needs. read more

We asked Jenny to shoot our wedding because we didn't want just any run-of-the-mill photos. My family has a lot of quirks, and I couldn't find another photographer that captures as much personality in her shots as Jenny. How she managed to be everywhere at all times, I have no idea. But she captured every special spur-of-the-moment memory of our day - including some (ok a lot) of moments I missed! Jenny is kind, responsive, flexible, professional, and super spunky. Everyone from the old folks to the kiddos loved her - which made even the most camera shy relative crack a genuine grin when she was near. If ever I need a professional photographer again, I will consider no one else. read more

Jenny is such an energetic & acrobatic force of nature that is hard to put how awesome she is into words! First, she is a consummate professional. From initial consultation to the wedding day, Jenny is the epitome of an organized business woman who remains calm (even FUN) under pressure. Prior to the wedding, she offers invaluable and practical advice, and responds quickly to emails with questions. Jenny has wedding photography down to a science. Whether it's getting an impossible giggle out of stiff Uncle Bob, shooting your bridal party through her legs while she is sliding into a split, or making up time when the couple is falling behind schedule, Jenny truly can handle (and make the most of) anything that comes her way. Why I loved working with Jenny: 1. She's so cool. One of those people who makes you feel like you've known her forever within minutes of meeting her. 2. She knows how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, focusing on candid shots and natural interactions. 3. She scouts your ceremony & reception locations before the wedding so she can find awesome settings for your photos. 4. She is a photo ninja - showing up just as that special moment is about to naturally unfold, and getting down on the dance floor with the craziest crowd to make sure all angles of the party are covered. (I think at one point she was lying on her back on the dance floor & we were all crowded over her smiling into her lens!) 5. She has a mean high kick. I sound like I am girl crushing, and maybe I am, but literally all of my friends and family were raving about Jenny after the wedding. She was our photographer and the life of the party at the same time. Where does she get the energy?! We hired Jenny for our NYC wedding and it one of the BEST decisions we made. She traveled from Seattle and her rates (including travel) were comparable to all the local NY photogs we spoke with. Call Jenny, trust me, you'll be hooked! read more

Jenny is absolutely amazing! We have hired her twice now, once for our wedding several years ago, and this year to take photos of our newborn and family. She came to our very messy house and took some of the most beautiful photos of our children and made our house look good too. Jenny is seriously talented, and her photos are magazine quality. We can't wait to use her for family photos as our children grow up! read more

I have to say that I was super concerned about getting headshots because in the past my experience is that they feel too "corporate" or don't reflect who I am as a person. What I love about Jenny is how fun and approachable she is, which loosened me up in front of the camera. She was also creative about how to utilize me within the studio space as well as getting me out of my head and into the camera. I highly recommend Jenny for headshots and events. read more

Jenny hella sick. Me ugly. She make me not ugly ... not as ugly ... she make my wife and child not ugly ... they not ugly but she make them even more not ugly ... she makes them beautiful ... they are beautiful and i am ugly and Jenny makes everyone Miley Fucking Cyrus. Jenny's a genius. read more

In under an hour (I was tight on time), Jenny listened to the type of headshot I needed, shot in different backgrounds and lighting, talked through the photos (and was willing to keep shooting if I wanted), and worked with me as I chose the final ones. She was relaxed which relaxed me so I looked like me. I highly recommend Jenny. read more

Have you ever met someone and immediately liked them? Have you ever seen artwork and thought, "That person must be amazing?" Jenny is both of those people. Her beautiful photography is a complement to her amazing person. Throughout our entire process Jenny was easy to work with. On the big day she was a photo ninja, seemingly everywhere at once. She deftly managed the well-meaning but intrusive family members, the screaming children, and all the unplanned events that go along with a wedding. read more

We got lucky when we found Jenny Jimenez. She was super fun to work with and had no trouble fitting right in with our group. What a fantastic artist and people person she is! Jenny had a deft touch with getting the best shots. She's got super energy, and is very professional without being stuffy. Working with her was a highlight of our engagement. We are so very tickled with our wedding photography that it will hold a place in the Top 5 investments we will make as a couple. read more

If you can book her before she becomes a nationally (or internationally) famous photographer, do it. Her hilarious, warm, and funky personality lead to hilarious, warm, and funky photos that really capture your event (our wedding, in this case). Warning though: if you are bland and boring: want to pose awkwardly holding your hand just so, now, oh just scooch over a bit and place your hand here. No higher. Okay, now smile. Then just hire whatever bland push-the-button photographer. Jenny is THE gal if you are at all interesting. read more

We were married in Sonoma last May, and Jenny traveled down to shoot our rehearsal dinner and the big day. She may have been the best choice we made in the entire process. Jenny put everyone at ease, and she is so vibrant and fun that she even elevated the party. If you are lucky enough to hire Jenny you should start buying frames in bulk now, because you will love every picture she takes. read more

Unless you plan hiring Thomas Struth to photo your wedding, hire Jenny. My husband and I hired Jenny to shoot our wedding four years ago. She befriended everyone, and produced perfect images. (Maybe it helped that we had a perfect wedding.) Nonpareil is the word for Jenny. read more

Jenny is truly fantastic. We used her for our engagement shoot and our wedding shoot and the photos she took were some of the best I've ever seen. We wanted a photographer that was slightly 'different' and that wouldn't take the run-of-the-mill type photos that so many wedding photographers take. Jenny is such a nice person, and so good at just putting her subjects at ease . . and most of the time you just forget you're even being photographed! We've just had our first child and Jenny is going to be doing a 'newborn' photoshoot for us too . . I can't wait!! It will be great to see her again and great to have us take some photos of us and our precious little baby! Bottom line - I would recommend Jenny for any type of occasion . . and there's nothing I can fault her for. Great photos and a great person. read more

We spent the better part of a week looking through different portfolios of various photographers for our anniversary party. When we finally came across Jenny's portfolio we stopped, made the call and booked her for our event. What her amazing portfolio doesn't show, is how great she is to work with and how integrated she becomes in the event. She coaxed people out of their "shells" in an instant and got real, candid photos instead of forced smiling photos that I so often see. If you are looking for an amazing photographer, do what we did; Stop, make the call and book her today! read more

It's not possible for me to overstate how amazing Jenny is. Not only is her photography beautiful her help on the day of our wedding was priceless. Her ability to stay calm and collected while making sure to capture the things that were most important to us helped us get through our amazing day more smoothly. From start to finish she was great to work with. Do yourself a favor, hire Jenny. read more

Jenny took photos for our wedding 6 years ago and a family session last year. The photos are always beautifully composed, but more importantly, she captures authentic expressions in her photos. She managed to get great photos of family members notorious for avoiding the camera - she puts people at complete ease and manages to blend into the background when she raises her camera. During our family session, she immediately drew our very shy toddler out of her shell and captured amazing laughs and moments of silliness that we typically experience at home when she's completely comfortable. Our favorite family photos are those Jenny took, as they truly capture the emotions of the moment. She has been on-time, professional, and prompt in all correspondence for both projects. We recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a photographer for any occasion, and plan to hire her for future photo sessions. read more

Jenny nailed it! My last headshot was taken 8 yrs ago. It was my best photo EVER. Used on my website, and across various listings, I've heard so many clients over the years say they chose me because of what was portrayed in that photo. I procrastinated getting an update because, well, I've aged. I realize how important it is to use a current photo, however, flattering pictures of me seemed a thing of the past. But I had to do this, as much as I was dreading it. I poured over reviews and chose Jenny and her Quickie package. At my appointment, I explained what I wanted, pulled out my last headshot, and Jenny exclaimed, "We got this!" She was right. Miraculously, I love the images she took every bit as much as that last headshot that had worked so well. Jenny had me feeling so comfortable, she drew out my sparkle and captured my inner radiance. She helped me select images appropriate for my goals. I couldn't be happier. I couldn't decide on just 3 photos (per her package deal), I chose 5! They were that good. Thank you, Jenny, you create magic with your camera! read more

Wow, it's quite boring to give Jenny another 5 star review, but she leaves me no choice! Jenny shot our wedding in August, and I can't imagine having a better experience. We had planned our wedding from India when we were living abroad, and began our relationship with her on skype headphones discussing what kind of photos we were interested in. The warmth, familiarity, responsiveness and creativity only continued from there. Jenny is such a beautiful presence and takes pictures that are classy, creative and unusual all at once. The photos capture not simply the beauty of the landscape and the people involved, but evoke the feeling of the wedding itself. I just can't say enough about the photos and about Jenny as a human being - both incredible. read more

Jenny photographed our wedding recently, and she was amazing. We loved her from the start. Jenny was extremely helpful in helping us create a timeline for the wedding day. On the day-of, she was comfortable and easy-going in a way that was very helpful given how nervous and high-energy we were. She was great at making everyone very comfortable for the portraits. And Jenny worked it on the dance floor -- she would actually jump into groups to dance and then shoot, which made people keep dancing rather than get nervous and withdraw (as they might if they just noticed her shooting). Within our budget, her services were one of our biggest expenses, but she was worth every penny. I'll update with more info once we get our photos, but I'm sure I'll be just as effusive. (She shot a friend's wedding, and the photos were gorgeous.) read more

Jenny takes absolutely amazing photos! And she is so easy to work with. She shot both our engagement session and wedding photos, and I've never felt so at ease with a camera pointed at me.
