Tanya truly had everything we were looking for in terms of a wedding photographer and hiring her was the easiest decision I made with the wedding. Tanya is a fantastic communicator that provided helpful reminders for upcoming deadlines, thoughtfully drafted questionnaires, and so much more to help shepherd us through the process. She made the process so easy and made me feel so secure that nothing would fall through the cracks. She has an eye for detail and set-up that is absolutely stunning. Her photos are airy, bright, gorgeous, but also genuine; her photographs look straight out of a bridal magazine but still feel organic and authentic. Tanya was a steady and calming presence on the day-of and even though it was only the second time meeting her in person (the first was at our engagement shoot), it felt like working with a friend--she put us at ease and genuinely seemed so excited for us, which added so much to our experience. And then she delivered an album with sneak peeks THE MORNING AFTER the wedding! I was in awe. Hiring Tanya was one of the best decisions I made and I truly cannot recommend her enough!

She is so consistent, and her personal brand feels so authentic to who she is. I want to rave about her so much I don't even know where to start. She didn't even slightly drop the ball once. She gave immaculate direction when shooting, is a patient saint, is sooo kind and encouraging. During the stress of the wedding day, she managed to maintain control of all of our family and our planner in order to execute what we wanted, and she did it with much calmness. Her delivery was beyond our expectations. She was the best decision we made for our wedding and I would do it again over and over. Every communication we had with her and all of her processes are so well thought out, organized and professional. I wish there were more Tetiana's so she could be a wedding designer and a wedding planner too. She is just that good! We loved working with you and thank you for the gift of the memories of our favorite day!!

Throughout all of the madness, Sasha stayed very active in offering solutions and doing everything she could to still make this the day of our dreams. Fortunately, with her help, we had a winter wonderland proposal, amazing photos to remember the moment, and great memories that were only heightened by the kind soul that Sasha is. We were referred to Jenn Tai by our wedding planners. We spent $4,410 for 6 hours of wedding day…read morecoverage with 1 photographer. Our photographer was Kelly Bowie. From the moment Kelly arrived at our wedding it felt like amateur hour. Even though we met with her in advance of our wedding and sent all the details in writing, she "forgot" pretty much everything we discussed. For example, Kelly forgot to bring the list of family groupings for the family photos. Kelly also forgot that we needed seating for disability accommodations during the family photos and chose a location that required our elderly and disabled guests to walk down a hill and then stand outside in the August heat for almost an hour with no place to sit. Additionally, during the ceremony Kelly's presence was very distracting. We were in a small greenhouse with multiple entrances where she could have easily walked around the guests to get from one point to another but instead she walked down the aisle and in front of our guests multiple times during the ceremony. If it's possible, when we received the photos we were even more disappointed in Jenn Tai Photography. There was a real lack of attention to detail that was visible in the photos and that you expect a professional photographer to be aware of. For example, in several of the photos you can see phones visible in pockets, hand sanitizer clipped to belts, etc. Also, some of the key photos were overexposed and as a result faces or images were so light that detail was lost. We brought a lot of these issues to the attention of the company owner, Jenn, who did her best to address our concerns during post-production editing. Jenn's customer service was great and we know that she worked hard to try to correct the issues. Thank you, Jenn, for doing your best to fix our photos. Overall, we're still not happy with most of our wedding photos, but thanks primarily to Jenn's post-production work we have a small percentage of wedding photos that we love and will cherish.

We interviewed a handful and felt an instant connection. Not only is she super professional and great at what she does, she makes being photographed fun and easy! She photographed both our engagement photos and our wedding. For our engagement photos she made both of us feel super comfortable not only in front of the camera, but also packing on the PDA at Sculpture Park lol. The photos were fantastic and really did capture who we are as a couple! Fast forward to our wedding. She was super organized, able to keep our family in line (it can be like herding cats) but most importantly, she was super inclusive to all of our family and friends. Our photos are beautiful and candid. Looking at them makes you feel like you were there on the day. We will recommend Jenn to all our friends and family and continue to use her as our family grows! Did I mention she's also hilarious. You'd be doing a disservice to your event not to hire her!

She gave us options and gave us honest feedback and great direction. She has connections with an awesome makeup and hair stylist (Sophia Hutch) which you should DEFINATELY take advantage of. I am definitely bias but, my kiddo looked beautiful! My daughter had a great time during her shoot. Haley made her feel so comfortable. They took pictures all over Pioneer Square and down by the waterfront. Haley was even welcoming to bring my daughter's favorite prompt - our English Bulldog. I also have to mention that Haley made an effort to get to know my kiddo. They bonded over "Queer Eye" and "The Great British Bake Off". She was easy to talk to and made my daughter feel like they were old friends. I really appreciated that. A few weeks later Haley ended up taking pictures of my other kiddo for a Christmas present. Again, she was awesome to work with. My husband loved the pictures of his two kids!! Do not hesitate to use Haley for your son's or daughter's senior pictures. You will not be disappointed.
