She also shot our wedding in August and the photos left my husband, family, friends and I speechless. I honestly can't get over how amazing every picture turned out. I love how she pays attention and captures every single detail, from a little piece of jewelry to moments you weren't able to see, to the joy and happiness in everyone's face. During that first meeting, Stephanie made sure to walk through the general look and feel of what she'd be doing during our wedding. We went over a pretty comprehensive list of family/group shots that we wanted, and she assured us that the day was going to be special. When she showed up for the day of the wedding, she was prepared and professional and definitely knew how to handle two anxious grooms who were running around making sure everything was good for the festivities. My partner and I just let Stephanie take the reins for how our photos were done, and I'm sure she would have preferred a *little* guidance, we're so glad we did, because her ideas were better than anything we could have come up with. Also, having that list of group shots was so important, because it made taking pictures with all of our family and friends fly by. As for the ceremony and reception, Stephanie was adept at blending in/not being noticed while capturing all the memories we could hope for. The pictures have been fantastic, and I don't know if there's a better person who can take two awkward guys, put them in what seem like awkward poses, and make beautiful pictures. Thank you so much Stephanie!

We were shocked when we found that we'd followed our wedding day schedule almost to the minute, from getting ready, to first look, to bridal photos at a nearby park, to getting back to our venue in time to relax before the ceremony. Not only did Charlie go above and beyond (he packed up his entire studio and drove 45 minutes to my location at the last minute because of an error that I made in my scheduling for the day), but he was incredibly kind and professional, which put me at ease. I was not looking forward to having my picture taken because of how self conscious I feel, but Charlie was great, and I actually really like the way the photos turned out. During the photo shoot, he was diligent about making sure everything looked good (like a stray piece of hair, or a wrinkle in my shirt). And he also did some small but important touch ups during editing (like whitening my teeth a little and smoothing some of my eye wrinkles- my husband has noticeably uneven eyes when he smiles, and Charlie was able to make them look more symmetrical- just small things that make a big difference). It's also a helpful bonus that he gives his clients several file sizes for their picture so I could quickly plug them in to the different social media/marketing platforms I am using for my business. I would recommend Charlie to anyone looking for a photographer.
