We hired Rachel to help with family and new born pictures (I know she's a wedding photographer but she was highly recommended). Not only did she capture our first family pictures, she captured the best moments of my daughter throughout her first year and they are beautiful. She was also such a pleasure to work with - so friendly and professional! She even helped pose me to capture me at my favorite/best angles during I time when I was so insecure with myself. We all loved working with her, and I cherish these memories so much. Thanks Rachel!

When I get married, she will be the one behind the lens.

Tanya truly had everything we were looking for in terms of a wedding photographer and hiring her was the easiest decision I made with the wedding. Tanya is a fantastic communicator that provided helpful reminders for upcoming deadlines, thoughtfully drafted questionnaires, and so much more to help shepherd us through the process. She made the process so easy and made me feel so secure that nothing would fall through the cracks. She has an eye for detail and set-up that is absolutely stunning. Her photos are airy, bright, gorgeous, but also genuine; her photographs look straight out of a bridal magazine but still feel organic and authentic. Tanya was a steady and calming presence on the day-of and even though it was only the second time meeting her in person (the first was at our engagement shoot), it felt like working with a friend--she put us at ease and genuinely seemed so excited for us, which added so much to our experience. And then she delivered an album with sneak peeks THE MORNING AFTER the wedding! I was in awe. Hiring Tanya was one of the best decisions I made and I truly cannot recommend her enough!

She is so consistent, and her personal brand feels so authentic to who she is. I want to rave about her so much I don't even know where to start. She didn't even slightly drop the ball once. She gave immaculate direction when shooting, is a patient saint, is sooo kind and encouraging. During the stress of the wedding day, she managed to maintain control of all of our family and our planner in order to execute what we wanted, and she did it with much calmness. Her delivery was beyond our expectations. She was the best decision we made for our wedding and I would do it again over and over. Every communication we had with her and all of her processes are so well thought out, organized and professional. I wish there were more Tetiana's so she could be a wedding designer and a wedding planner too. She is just that good! We loved working with you and thank you for the gift of the memories of our favorite day!!

Five stars just isn't enough for Angela and Evan. They deserve all of the stars…read more Photography was a huge priority for my husband and I as we planned our wedding, and we simply cannot imagine our wedding experience without Angela and Evan. They are not only artists and professionals, but the kindest, warmest people you will ever meet. From our very early correspondence, when we emailed back and forth and talked on the phone (we live on the East Coast, but got married in Seattle), Angela was thoughtful and dedicated, asking questions that showed she truly understands how wedding photography works. One of the things that makes her such an amazing photographer is the effort she puts into getting to know you before she even gets to the wedding - she walked through our venue with us, talked with me about the flow of the day, and made sure to stay in close touch with our wedding planner as well. Angela is so generous - when we decided at the last minute that we wanted to get engagement photos taken, she recommended a photographer friend on the East Coast for us. Some photographers might have been put out that we were asking for a recommendation, but not Angela. And on the wedding day itself, we were lucky beyond belief to get to work with both Angela and Evan - Angela shot me and my ladies as we got ready, and Evan was with the guys. Both of them were there for our first look, and throughout the rest of our day and night. While I never noticed them taking photos at the time, they somehow managed to capture all of the big and little moments that made our wedding so special to us - I don't know how they did it. It was so special to see them work together, too, as a married couple! My husband and I had booked a standard package, which ended an hour before the end of our reception - but Angela STAYED, out of the goodness of her heart, to capture our sparkler exit, because as she said, "I thought it would be really special for you guys to have those photos." Come on - that made me tear up, and filled my heart with such gratitude. Our wedding ended at 11pm, and we hung out with our guests at a bar until 1am. As we got in a cab to take us to our hotel, I got a text message from Angela with 20 incredible, beautiful photos from the day. Keep in mind - she had left the wedding at 11pm, too. So, after a full day of work, she went home and sent me a teaser of photos because she knew how excited I was to see them. You can't make this kind of stuff up; it's just too good to be true! And the delivery of the rest of the photos was amazing as well. Only a couple weeks later, we got a preview of about 80 more photos, and then the full album delivery about a month later. The quality of the photos is simply unmatched. And on top of all of that - which is already above and beyond what you could expect from a wedding photographer - Angela sent a beautiful goodie box last month with lovely prints and treats for us to enjoy. Again, I teared up. Working with Angela and Evan is one of the best decisions I've ever made - in life, not just in wedding planning. You will love them as much as you love your photos, which is to say: a lot!

When my husband and I began thinking about wedding planning just over a year ago, we knew the most…read moreimportant thing to us was finding a photographer that we loved. We agreed that having great photos of our big day was one of our very highest priorities, so the search was on to comb through all the options to find the photographer for us. After a referral from a family friend, we ended up meeting with Angela and booking with her right away without meeting with anyone else. This ended up being one of the best decisions we made throughout our whole wedding planning process. Angela is an absolutely incredible photographer and an even better human being. Our package included engagement photos in addition to the photos on our wedding day. My husband was pretty apprehensive about having his photo taken and was worried that he wouldn't feel comfortable in front of the camera. Angela is such a pro, she easily made him feel comfortable during the engagement shoot and brought out the best in both of us. From the beginning of working together, she felt like a friend and someone we could be ourselves around, which is so important when documenting your big day. When it came closer to the wedding, Angela went above and beyond to make sure we had the things we needed. Five days before the wedding, I realized to my horror that I hadn't ordered ANY sparklers for our sparkler exit....and it was no longer Summer so it was nearly impossible to find a vendor willing to sell me fireworks. I felt so stupid and, honestly, a little panicked that one of the elements of our day that I had spent so much time thinking about wasn't going to happen. After filling her in on our dilemma, Angela began searching for us and found a bride selling sparklers near me that I could meet and ALSO met a seller herself in Tacoma and brought those sparklers with her to the wedding. Seriously, guys, she's the real deal. When it came time for our wedding she absolutely knocked it out of the park. She was a calming presence throughout the pre-ceremony period, providing gentle and much needed direction so that we stayed on schedule and had time for all the photos we were hoping to get before the ceremony. During the ceremony and reception, she blended in seamlessly, capturing every important moment. We were faced with a large amount of rain during our outdoor ceremony and outdoor reception, but Angela took it in stride and captured absolutely beautiful photos every step of the way. I imagine it isn't easy to shoot under those conditions and with that amount of rain, but she made it look easy. Although the rain was less than ideal, we all chose to embrace the elements and see it as a romantic addition to the day. Angela did the same, and captured the spirit of that perfectly in her photos. After recently reviewing all of our photos from our wedding, we truly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. As mentioned above, she captured the spirit of the day better than I ever could have imagined and, in the process, made all our friends and family look SO good. Looking through all our photos is like reliving the day, and she documented every candid moment with a level of artistry that exceeded all our expectations. We are so proud to share our photos with our loved ones and, honestly, can't wait for an excuse to work with Angela again.

Upon our first meeting with Kristen, we knew she would be perfect to photograph our wedding and it was the best decision we made!! There are many details that go into planning a wedding, but for me, photography was the most important. Prior to our wedding, Kristen photographed our engagement session and the pictures turned out amazing!! My fiance and I had no idea how to pose for photos, but Kristen quickly made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun during the shoot. I could not believe how great the pictures turned out. My favorite things about Kristen's photography are the way she uses natural lighting and the way she captured our personalities in the pictures. She has an eye for photography and knows exactly how to capture the moment. We never felt like she was forcing us to pose a certain way or not be ourselves, as some other photographers tend to do. After how great the engagement photos turned out, I knew I wanted to use Kristen as much as possible for our wedding so we asked her to come photograph our rehearsal dinner the day before the wedding and I am so glad we did. It will be so special to have moments from the rehearsal to look back on forever. When our wedding day arrived, Kristen did not disappoint at all and far exceeded our expectations. It was so much fun to have her be a part of our day. Our friends, family, and other vendors all commented on how great Kristen was to work with and how nice she was to everyone. We gave her a tight timeline and asked her to fit a lot of pictures into a busy, long day. Throughout the day, Kristen kept us on schedule and was sure she got pictures of all the special moments we requested. Just like during our engagement session, she knew exactly where to go around our ceremony and reception sites to get the best shots. She is incredibly talented and hiring her was the best decision we made for our wedding!! I highly recommend her for an engagement session and/or wedding!!

It's been fun and painless. Think about what it takes to get 5 pups to stay still and pose for a photo! Julie does it and makes it look easy. This year Covid closed down the usual location. We then contacted Julie and, not surprisingly, found she was prepared to meet quarantine precautions and to take the photos. The only challenge was needing a Santa, but she had a newly cleaned costume and as I was going to be there... Julie set us up, posed the dogs, got their attention and took the photos. She's so warm, friendly, and personable that she feels like part of the family now. It would feel wrong not to have her there! The great thing about Julie is that she doesn't push her idea of what would make a good shoot on you. She lets you be you and captures the moments, natural and unposed. She has a great feel for what makes a good picture, and she'll always load you down with tons of great shots to pick from after she's done. Her camera work is impeccable, and I love the options she offers for preserving the special moments she captures, like the photo books she offers. We picked Julie after having a bad experience with another photographer for our daughter's first birthday. That photographer insisted in posing us according to her vision, with the result that we all felt stiff, unnatural, and pressured. It didn't help that the first photographer insisted on having us wear clothes we were uncomfortable in and made insensitive comments about our weight and appearance. I wondered if all professional photographers were like that, which made me approach Julie with some trepidation. But she turned out to be the complete opposite of what we had that first year. She made us feel relaxed and happy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, or a better photographer. She's great at what she does, and she's a terrific person to boot. I recommend her 100 percent.
