Working with Audra as our day of coordinator was absolutely amazing. She kept us calm and focused on each moment. Audra was incredibly easy to work with and she was fun! Every time we met up it didn't feel like a business meeting but felt like I was reconnecting with a friend who just understood me. She absolutely went above and beyond on each and every detail. She brought additional cake stands for our donut bar which really made that table pop. She brought corn hole for the side room during the reception. Our wedding was August 5th, 2012 and we are proud to say that we used Lovely Events to do our wedding planning. Audra was absolutely outstanding. As with all weddings, our wedding had certain unique features such as being gay, Jewish, kosher style food, divorced parents, etc. Audra was not only helpful with handling these personal characteristics; she was sensitive and easy to work with regarding them. Audra tells you during your consultation that she wants your wedding to be just that, your wedding, and that she is only there to help you plan, to organize, and to make sure that everything goes the way you dreamed of on the big day. Personally, not only did I think that we would not have gotten to eat at our wedding, but I do not think that we would have had nearly as good of time without Audra and Lovely Events. As anyone knows whose started planning or had a wedding, weddings can be extremely stressful. Audra gave us peace of mind throughout the whole process. She gracefully and efficiently dealt with all of the small last minute tasks such as throwing our floral aisle down right before the guests arrived, pinning the boutonnières on the fathers and groomsmen, organizing the wedding party, helping guests find their seats, grabbing champagne for us during the champagne toast when the country club failed to serve us some, assisting vendors with last minute questions, and countless other details. My wife and I have used Lovely Events (Audra) on three separate occasions over the past 2 years. Choosing to work with Audra a second and third time is a true testament to the quality work she does. What makes Audra great is her communication style, ideas, willingness to listen, and willingness to take control when needed. Audra just finished helping me plan/run my wife's 40th birthday blowout bash (8/23/2015) with over 200 people - band, food, snacks, and bar. Audra made sure everything ran according to plan and took care of everything as unforeseen issues arose. Not only did Audra make sure the event ran great, but her day-of help allowed me to focus on having a good time, entertaining guests, and knocking back a number of cocktails. Audra was absolutely incredible!! When my husband and I finally decided on getting a day of wedding planner, we began emailing any and every wedding planner we could find. We got married on a Saturday in August, so you can imagine how hard it was to book ANYTHING. Audra was quick to respond, and eager to help. She wasn't in the Seattle area at the time we wanted to meet with her, so she Skyped us! How sweet is that?! We had a Skype meeting, loved her, and decided to book her. Although we just booked the 'Day of' wedding coordinating package, Audra did much more than that. I emailed her probably 200 times (Sorry!!) throughout the planning process, and Audra would always answer very quickly. She gave me ideas I would have never thought of, and steered me towards some amazing vendors. We met with Audra a few times prior to the wedding, and each time was so great. Audra was very personable, and felt like more of a friend than a wedding planner! My favorite part about using Audra was what she said to me at the rehearsal, the day before the wedding. She asked how I was doing, and then said, "anything that you think of that isn't done, just text me a list and it will be done when you get here in the morning!" WHAT?! I was jumping for joy. It was the biggest stress lifted off of my shoulders knowing that I had a wedding planner who was really willing to do anything I needed (within reason, obviously!!). The day of the wedding was absolutely incredible, and Lovely Events did an amazing job. The team was on site all morning before the wedding making sure everything was perfect. It was a bit windy that day, and we had a cute "MR. and MRS." sign hanging from our head table. Because of the wind, the letters were flopping and flying everywhere. One of Lovely Event's team members sat next to the head table and hand pinned every letter to our tablecloth so that they were readable and looked great. It's the small details like that, that truly made this team so awesome. I would highly recommend Audra and her team to anyone looking for an affordable, friendly, and extremely helpful wedding planner. They were truly the best! read more

Audra was absolutely amazing on my wedding day. I was one of those brides who thought I didn't need a day of coordinator to help but I can say after the fact that I am so happy and grateful that she was there and I could have used her services to plan the whole thing. Audra was literally there at every moment needed during the wedding. We chose Audra due to the immediate personal connection we felt with her, her reported skills and abilities and a past positive experience I knew of from old friend where Audra worked to coordination her wedding. I planned our wedding from oLas Vegas, were we live, so it was nice that Audra accommodated the request for the Skype interview for our decision making process. We ended up hiring Audra for the day-of package and later adder a lot of a la carte services to make sure we didn't have to fuss with anything regarding set up, take down and executing tuns of details. My wedding had millions of little details and Audra pulled off the entire thing perfectly. There were many planned surprises between me and the groom, a surprise Prince impersonator, fake wedding dresses and more. Audra kept it all straight and pulled off the entire wedding with no flaws. I wish I could do the wedding over again in the exact same way and I would hire Audra all over again. She is amazing. Though we hired her for her day of services she was very helpful during my 1.25 year planning process by recommending decor that saved me money and coached me in attitude-adjustments to get the most out of my vendors. I really appreciated that. She was super proactive at the rehearsal making sure everyone was listening and was a constant source of confidence and guidance to everyone. Audra even rescued one of my wedding dresses from an awful seamstress who was holding it ransom at her home / shop. Obviously living out of town I was at the mercy of this seamstress release my dress, which she refused to do and I could not combat the situation myself. She was demanding money from me for no services rendered. I was frantic and distort that someone would take advantage of me in this way and was consumed with agony as to how to explain to my fiancé that I was being extorted over a 9k wedding dress. I'm not sure what Audra did but one second the dress was being held for ransom and the next second Audra called me and told me she had the dress with her in her car and she was delivering it to my official dress prep team. I understand this is a unique experience but nonetheless, it was amazing to have someone on my side that was 100% looking out for my interests when I couldn't be there to represent myself. The evil seamstress is PA Jens / Trish Jens. She is the most awful person in all the wedding industry. Anyway, Audra is amazing. I would recommend her to anyone and I will hire her for all my event planning needs in the future. She worked perfectly in the background while making sure everything was just as I envisioned. If anything went wrong I have no idea about it and I think that's the way it should be. read more

Our wedding was October 6th 2012. My husband and I could not have asked for anyone better to help on our wedding day. Being a typical guy, my husband was skeptical at first and could not figure out why we couldn't just set up everything ourselves. Our July 27, 2012 wedding was a truly lovely event. There is no doubt in my mind that without the help of Audra and Lovely Events our evening would not have been nearly as perfect. Hiring Audra as our Day of Event Coordinator was absolutely one of the best decisions we made. She is wonderful to work with and responds quickly to inquiries with practical and creative advice. Her experience in the industry is evident in her familiarity with vendors, tactful strategies for ensuring all parties (bride, groom, parents etc.) are happy with the event and her ability to quickly offer ideas for table arrangements, wine options and more. Our wedding on August 4th, 2012 was definitely the best day of our lives, but it could not have happened without Audra and Lovely Events. Audra was by FAR the best investment we made into our wedding. As our day of coordinator, we had unlimited email contact (with me, probably emailing her every half hour with questions!) and an super helpful planning meeting and event timeline. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch (at least that I know of- and the way it should be!) all because of Audra's excellent managing skills and her great sense of design- the ceremony and reception turned out exactly how I'd imagined. She made sure everything was done right on time, even with me (being the anal/control freak bride that I was) asking about small details throughout morning, but Audra put me in my place and assured me everything will be exactly the way we had planned- which it did! And we had a LOT of small details, I'm not even sure how she and her assistant were able to get it done, but it was a beautiful wedding and all of our guests raved it was the best wedding they've ever been to! From rehearsal coordination, to day-of set up and decorating, to keeping the wedding on schedule throughout the night, to tear down, she was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend her for anyone in need of a planner or day of coordinator. She knows how to manage a large crowd and keep a bride (and her mother!) calm, cool, and collected so she may actually enjoy the most important day of her life- truly a priceless gift. read more

I honestly thought about writing this post for while. I couldn't get my experience with Audra with Lovely Events on our wedding day off my brain for months. So I finally decided I needed to share my experience. I booked Audra for Day-of Wedding Coordination services in December of 2015 for our July 2016 Seattle Wedding. I was excited to book her because she worked at our wedding venue previously and she told me she knew the venue inside and out! Score! She also sold me on how she takes charge, makes sure everything looks perfect on the day of the wedding, and she will take all the stress off the me. Exactly what I was looking for! She recommended a few DJs for us but they were already booked on our wedding date, so I found my own. Shortly after that, I started to feel uneasy about her when I emailed her a question about our rehearsal location twice and she didn't respond for over 2 weeks. Then she finally responded with "Gah. How did I miss this?!" However, with all the wedding planning going on, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. That was the last time I had contact with her until our timeline meeting. We had a final timeline meeting 3 weeks before the wedding at 8:00pm on a weekday. It wasn't the most ideal time for me, but I jumped on it while she was available and responding to my emails. The timeline was never completely finished. I told Audra that I would look into a few things and I would get back to her but time got away from me. She never said anything or contacted me to finalize the highlighted items, so I thought she had it under control. I had a million other things to worry about. I had a few hiccups with my venue, so she came to the final venue meeting (which she did as a courtesy and didn't charge me). Then things started to unravel quickly during the weekend of our Wedding: - She sent my Lovely Events signed contract to my vendors instead of the timeline (my photographer opened it as we were going over final details on the phone). Audra did tell me she sent the wrong document but the damage was done. - She was 45 minutes late to the rehearsal. Every single person was there on time, except for her. - She texted me when I was getting ready on the MORNING of our wedding to ask me who is delivery my flowers. - The Wedding started 30 minutes late due to set-up. Audra allowed the venue to keep all the doors open during the ceremony set-up. So my guests saw the unfinished roomed and my florist frantically finishing the set-up. - Audra "lined-up" my Wedding Party to be announced into the reception by saying "listen for your name." - The Flower Girl and Ring Barrier were never lined-up (they were sitting in their seats), but they were announced twice into the reception. - Audra was rude and snarky to my guests, Mother of the Groom, and Bridal Party. I didn't see it personally, but numerous people expressed their negative feelings about her throughout our Wedding night. - There were items left at the venue and items that were never returned to me at the end of the night of the Wedding. Audra and her assistant also left our Wedding before we did. A few weeks later, I emailed her about my concerns about her services on our Wedding day. She blamed Seattle traffic for being late to our rehearsal, and she blamed my DJ for the announcement error because she didn't recommend him. Even though the contract states she is to "coordinate entertainment and announcements/events during reception." She also stated that many of my concerns were untrue, and she went on to say that she quote "I am not a babysitter and not someone who handles everyone else's jobs. I did not recommend any of your vendors and so therefore can not take responsibility for them." Seeing the past reviews, it looks like if you hire Lovely Events for more than just Day-Of Coordination they do a better job. However, I would not recommend Lovely Events for Day-Of Coordination only. read more

January 2013 my friends threw me a baby shower with Lovely Events as the planner. and oh my my was it lovely. Audra Goetz takes the time to understand each and every client to make the event truly unique to them. Her attention to detail is incredible. the "birds and bees" themed party was divine. My shower began with a stunning hand painted welcome sign, a surprise photo shoot with my belly baby and fiance shot by Atlante Photography. Next was social hour with Pellegrino, fresh fruits, homemade cakes and munchies. Every corner was decorated with tasteful nests, birds and sweet little bees. a beautiful "wishes for the baby" cards creatively hung on a twine and floral arrangement for my family and friends to give baby blessings, a room for making hand painted onsies..the details go on and on and on and on. it was dreamy. not only does Audra have an incredible eye for style, she is classy, professional, responsible, friendly, fun, gorgeous, all the while having her eyes and ears and everywhere so the guests can relax and join the party. I was so impressed, that I have hired Audra to plan my wedding and am so excited for the opportunity to work with such talent. HIRE HER!!!! read more
