She made sure we planned for details so many couples forget, like making breakfast plans for the day-of, and how to build in "couples' breaks" throughout the wedding festivities so my new husband and I were able to enjoy connection that was just for the two of us that day. But then there's the whole Megan-ness of it all. She's hilarious, bright, creative, and still VERY calming. We didn't really see much of her the day-of, as she beautifully moved through the spaces bringing together our vision and keeping all of the vendors on track. When I say we had the PERFECT wedding, I can say it with the confidence of an older bride who has not only attended her fair share of weddings, but has also planned her own wedding back with her first marriage. And we did not have an easy or traditional wedding, so Megan's "Hell yes! Let's do it!" attitude really helped us bring something unique, fun, and special to life. Yes, Megan happens to be the coolest, and yes, everyone wants to be her friend. But there is no one more trustworthy and capable when it comes to entrusting your big day to someone. Megan is by far the best wedding planner I've ever come in contact with. I met her about 2.5 years ago when my husband and I were planning our wedding. Our venue gave us a list of day of coordinators and Megan was on that list. She had an amazing website and web presence so she was my #1 choice from the get go. We hired Megan to ease the day of coordination on my parents because we did not want to rely solely on our venue to provide us day of service. We were smooth sailing and rolling until March 2020 hit and COVID-19 forced us to change course and postpone to the following year. Without any hesitation, Megan was the first one to reschedule and stay with us until May 2021, when our new date was. She also coordinated numerous emails with vendors for us so they would all confirm the major date change. Over the course of the following year she would check in periodically and would text, Zoom, and email with us and our vendors to make sure everyone was ready to go. When I couldn't decide or make it to pick out linens, Megan took charge and helped me pick out beautiful table linens that made the room pop and look elegant at our venue. She stepped in when our officiant couldn't be there on Friday for rehearsal and planned an excellent day of timeline. Megan is the best wedding planner we could have ever hoped for. After we got engaged my fiance and I did not know where to start. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming if you don't know what you're doing and luckily for us, Megan came to the rescue. She made it a very enjoyable, stress-free, and fun experience. I hired Megan as our day-of coordinator for our July 2012 wedding, but that title is incredibly deceiving-- she was *so much more* than just a day-of coordinator!! When I first began searching for a coordinator, I was surprised at how many planners seemed really unorganized-- flaking on initial meetings, unresponsive to inquiries about their services, etc. . We originally went into wedding-planning thinking we could pull it off without a day-of coordinator, but as the day came closer, we realized we needed someone who could be the main contact for all of our vendors, be in charge of setting up/taking down/packing up decor, and put out any random fires. That person was Megan, and she did a fantastic job! Megan is so friendly and full of energy, and knew both our venue (DeLille Cellars) and several of our other vendors. She is well-liked and respected in the industry, and we just loved her as well. She used her experience and knowledge to create our perfect day-of timeline, and the day's events moved seamlessly -- we hit every goal time, started/ended the ceremony on time so nobody had to wait around and we had time to mingle with guests during the cocktail hour, and were able to fit in all the important activities (first dances, cake, tosses) before our photographers and videographer left! Staying on-time allowed us to really enjoy the day, soak up every moment with family and friends, and not worry about rushing to the next activity to catch up. I'm most thankful to Megan for perfectly executing the vision I had for our wedding decor. With pretty minimal instruction, she set up everything just the way I wanted it and it all looked beautiful. And THEN, she took everything down and packed it up in our car at the end of the night, sending me an email detailing which items were where. Not a single thing was broken or missing. She even sent a few items I had borrowed from friends home with those friends so I didn't have to worry about returning them. In the end, Megan's day-of coordinating services were more than worth every penny. Similar to all other reviews on here, Megan was an amazing planner and huge help throughout the entire wedding process. Her organization and good humor really made it fun and ensured we had everything in place leading up to the event. What I appreciated most was her ability to adapt and correct the items you can't plan for on your wedding day, like all day power outages at your reception. Megan was able to find generators, coordinate across vendors, ensure the food was fine, and sound check the band all without interrupting our day of events. When we showed up to the venue everything was immaculate and we were prepared to have a nice candlelight dinner when the power finally came on after being off all day. I recently referred a friend of mine to Megan and it was then that I realized I should totally Yelp her! The convo with my friend reminded me how Super FUN and EASY my wedding was. I had never really thought about planning a wedding and all that it entails. I knew it was most likely an exhausting experience but I had no idea allll the stuff that goes into it. Oy! She helped us pick/secure a variety of our big vendors in addition to her month of package. From the very beginning she was so responsive and helped us navigate contracts, wedding etiquette, etc. I can't say enough about how thoroughly she answered every question (and there were many)! Having her available by email with all of her experience throughout the planning process reduced our stress and allowed us to feel confident in our decisions. Megan was our day of coordinator (and then some!) for our wedding this past weekend at Roche Harbor Resort. I was hesitant to hire a coordinator. In general i'm very organized and wasn't sure that it was something we NEEDED. Let me tell you -- it was the BEST decision we made throughout the entire planning process. Leading up to the big day she was available to answer our questions with amazing insight. She took the time to learn what was important to us (from decor, to family dynamics, to timeline, etc.) so that she could really bring our vision to life and make sure that we going into our big day with confidence. When the big day came Megan totally put us at ease so that we could enjoy every moment of it. She took care of EVERYTHING. Everyone involved in our wedding knew where they needed to be and when. Our decor was all set up exactly how I had envisioned it. She kept my now husband and I posted on where we needed to be at different points in the evening so that we were relaxed and enjoying our wedding rather than worrying about our timeline. At the end of the evening we were able to leave the reception right away while she stayed behind to neatly pack up all of the decor we had brought in, make sure our vendors had everything they brought in, and securely put away our gifts/cards. This is all just a fraction of what she did. I could seriously go on and on about everything she did to exceed our expectations. An extra testament to just how AMAZING Megan is -- The day before our wedding (we're talking less than an hour before our rehearsal) we got a call that our officiant was in the hospital and was no longer able to marry us. Megan arrived shortly after and calmly presented us with multiple options, one of which was for her to perform our ceremony and sign our marriage license. We felt that was our best option and sent her the ceremony we had developed with our original officiant. She read over our ceremony for the first time that night and seriously blew us away the next day. The ceremony was smooth, love-filled, fun, and our guests had NO IDEA she wasn't a professional officiant. And to think she stepped up as an officiant IN ADDITION to everything she did as our coordinator... this lady is incredible. Give yourself the best wedding present and hire Megan. I have nothing but good things to say about Megan. What helped us the most was having her build us a schedule that started on our wedding day and worked backward. Her expertise helped us know what we had to do and when, and she could tell us whether we were on track or whether we were falling behind. Megan also has fantastic relationships with vendors in Seattle; she knew our band (The Nines - whom she recommended), our photographer (Eliza Truitt - also a recommendation), our florist (Christopher Flowers), and everyone at our venue (Sodo Park). That was monumentally important as we headed into the final days leading up to our wedding. She handled pretty much *all* of the back-and-forth with our vendors, which really shielded us from some of the minutiae that we really didn't want to be involved in at the last minute. That was amazing. She's also just a fun person to be around. We felt like we could bounce ideas off of her and have an honest, down-to-earth response come back to us. She's professional and takes her job seriously, but she has fun doing it - a great combination. One TINY example of Megan's willingness to go above and beyond for us: We had a friend make our wedding cake, and had a ton of it left over after the reception. She loaded the leftovers into the back of her car and delivered it to our doorstep the day after our wedding (with a bunch of other items that she'd collected from our reception venue). read more

We learned in the process of wedding planning, that you want your planner to be efficient, responsive, decisive and someone who gets things done, all while making it as fun a process as possible. Megan fits this description to a T. She supported us as need be from the day we hired her, provided a great list of vendors, remained in contact with each of our vendors 2 weeks before the wedding, ran our rehearsal, put together a wedding timeline down to 15 minutes increments(!), kept the wedding on time and made sure we got to eat and participate in all the important events of the day. She even delivered us last call drinks from the bar, as we would never have made it back in time to have one. And then, she shut the party down and made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing with ending the night. Honestly, we can't say enough good things about this lady. We hired Megan as our day-of coordinator for our June 2012 wedding. As you will find out, her skills go beyond day-of coordination! We could not have pulled off our wedding event and reception without her! When I first met Megan, her first impression is what sold me. She is organized, professional, engaging, and truely a delight to be around. Out of all the coordinator's I interviewed, I knew instantly that Megan was the one. Afterall, on your wedding day you want to have someone you can not only rely on, but really want to be a part of your day! She made our wedding day completely stress free! Me and my fiance hired Megan for the full blown package of helping us organize our wedding in 7 months or less. I at the time was a grad student getting my MBA and working and my fiance was working full time as well. Needless to say, we did not have too much time to research every vendor and wonder if they would actual deliver or not. We started realizing Megan was "in the know" and probably on top of her stuff when we mentioned her name to vendors when we had started to look at wedding venues before we even hired her and heard nothing but rave reviews and how much people loved to work with her! In short, we were thrilled with Clutch Events and would hire them again in a snap. Megan clearly loves what she does. She takes every pain possible to make your day exactly what you envisioned and she does it with ease. Megan did our wedding of 200+ guests, which was also a live production set (our wedding was broadcast live online and had a crew of over 30 working in addition to the wedding team). Megan managed to coordinate the regular wedding stuff, which was a feat of its own, with the out-of-the-ordinary production situation going on - in the rain! BEFORE THE WEDDING Megan was promptly available and frank in giving advice or answering questions. She kept us confidant that our wedding would run smoothly and embody who we are as a couple. We never once looked at each other like, "um, does this person get what we're going for?" or, "are you sure she can pull this off?" Not once. DURING THE WEDDING Megan was the perfect combination of present and missing (she had lots to do, after all!). I later learned through my Matron of Honor that our cake didn't come. It's a testament to Megan that this never came to my attention. She noticed the mistake and made sure the cake was delivered on time so I wouldn't have to worry. I can only imagine how many other snafus she fixed without me having to worry about it! AFTER THE WEDDING Megan checked in with us to make sure there weren't any loose ends that needed tying up. To this day, months later, I know I could call her up with a question about my wedding and she would have an answer at hand, glad to hear from me. We hired Megan as our day-of wedding coordinator and can't express enough how great a job she did! She and her very capable assistant took care of absolutely everything during the wedding, allowing us to enjoy every minute of it without a hint of a hiccup. From the very beginning, she was in our corner, giving us advice on vendors and tips on how to make the planning go as smoothly as possible. Her relationships with seemingly everyone in wedding industry in Seattle were invaluable, and we were able to confidently get through the planning without wondering if we were making any wrong moves. I was really excited to hire Megan from Clutch events because she seemed so enthusiastic and fun. I trusted her with my special day. She was a complete waste of money. I really wish I had not hired her. I will say that the day was difficult due to intense rain and an outdoor wedding. Before the ceremony she did a fine job of setting up flowers etc even though she came about an hour late. Here are the things that really upset me. 1) She did not have enough tables set up for our guests, even though there were only 50 people at our wedding. When we noticed people were standing up eating we had to find the staff at our resort and have them bring more tables. She was nowhere to be found. 2) She packed up our entire wedding by 8:00pm. I don't know why she thought we wanted all of our decorations put away before the end of our party. She even turned out the lights. I made s'more kits and she threw those by the fire before we got to use them. I noticed other guests were eating them at a nearby fire pit. When we questioned them they told us that the staff said they were going to get thrown away. 3) She yelled at some of my guests (my mom) and disappeared for long periods of time. 4) She lost my cake stand and refused to acknowledge it (even though I have pictures of the stands). 5) When we provided her with this feedback she had many excuses and did not apologize. She is unprofessional. We simply wanted an apology and acknowledgment that the day didn't go as planned. read more

We hired Megan as our wedding planner for our wedding that took place in early June and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her. From my very first meeting with Megan she was present, engaged, responsive and overall made the entire wedding planning experience pleasant and stress-free. As a bride, Megan is THE gift you must get yourself. Like many others before me, I thought I'd be able to do a fair bit of wedding prep on my own. I had researched venues and vendors, established pricing and availability, and had begun to form an idea of how the day-of timeline might go. Upon meeting with Megan, however, it was immediately clear what she would bring to the table as not only our day-of coordinator, but our personal superhero as well :) Megan worked with us to review contracts, hire and coordinate with vendors, and shared with us the knowledge that only an industry insider might have, which helped us to be aware of (and avoid) common mistakes the layperson might make throughout the planning and contract negotiation process. She shared with us a list of her preferred vendors and, in coordinating with these and other vendors, we realized how well-respected she is in her field. She was able to help us save quite a bit of money in minimizing redundancies in several areas, most notably by creatively working the timeline and flow of the crowd to allow us to transition well from ceremony to cocktail hour and reception without having to rent additional space within our venue. She is also a NINJA and was able to slyly replace the groom's beer can with a glass of beer so that our pictures came out looking a little classier during speeches (the little things, you know?). As many others have stated, Megan is a consummate professional, effective communicator, and creative genius. The day of our wedding went off without a single hitch and I am so pleased by the fact that I, who likes to have her hands in everything, was able to enjoy our special day without having to make a single logistical decision or accommodation. We were very organized about getting started early with our planning and Megan was very responsive to all of our questions and requests for recommendations about vendors during the planning phase. I think my favorite part was our last two pre-wedding meetings with her when she ran through all of the details and then told us we could stop worrying and she would manage the rest.
