Phone repair issue still not fixed…read more Review: I had my phone screen replaced here and from the moment I picked it up it started flickering and glitching. There is no physical damage on the phone at all. The issue clearly came from how it was reassembled. When I went back to address it the first questions I heard were "When did you get it fixed?" "Do you have the receipt?" There was no attempt to even look at the problem. No let's see what's going on. No let's determine whether this is on me or on you. It went straight to assuming it was my fault even though I paid 180 dollars and the problem began immediately after the repair. I was also told it might be because the screen was aftermarket. But aftermarket screens are still supposed to work. Assembly matters. If the repair caused the issue then taking ownership matters. I checked my review history before writing this. I have never written a bad review before. I'm only writing this to protect the next person. If this had been handled with integrity I would gladly leave five stars. Mistakes can be fixed. I left a message but was never called back. I drove to Screen Doctor, a 20 minute ride, on August 26 to check on the battery's status, and after he made an online check he told me that it wouldn't arrive until August 28. By August 29 I hadn't heard back, so I called in the late afternoon and was told that he had to go to the shop to see if the battery had arrived. He would call me back in five minutes. He never did. On August 29 I called again and left a another message, this time I was irritated.. Someone got back to me in about five minutes. He said he would go to the shop and check on the battery. He called back a few hours later and said that it had arrived. I told him I'd pay for the battery but I didn't want to have him install it after all the trouble I'd had. I went there today, Sept 1. The tech I saw, who was relaxing with his feet up on the counter, chatting with someone, went in the back room, mumbling something I couldn't understand, and came out telling me it wasn't the right battery. He gave me back my money. Three trips, wasted time, and nothing to show for my effort. I give Screen Doctor 5 negative stars. One of the worst experiences I've had with customer service.
