they're a terrible seller to buy from on eBay. Their store on eBay is gritroutdoors. I placed the order Sunday 7/27 from eBay and they immediately printed the shipping label but that's it. per eBay they're supposed to ship 3 business days after purchase. But usps still hasn't received them. eBay is stepping in Friday 8/1 to force the refund. they keep saying the rings have shipped. But the tracking says usps doesn't have them. I've asked for them to cancel the sell and issue a refund. But they keep saying no because the package has shipped but it hasn't. thank goodness for eBay's buyer protection. Great gun store with awesome inventory of different variances of rifles, pistols, shotguns and everything in between. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. When buying a firearm, their processes is speedy and efficient. The only reason this fine establishment lacks a fifth star, it's the fact that they have a small staff.The small staff gets overwhelmed at times, which causes customers to get neglected and walk out. It is hard to find a gun store where the staff doesn't come off as condescending or elitist. There are a few and this is definitely one of them. Mason and Tom helped me find just the right gun and suggested several accessories that made it even more what I was looking for. He did not try to hard sell me on anything but really took the time to explain things in a way that I could understand. I learned a lot about bullet velocity and other factors I did not know about previously. I went back with my daughter and they helped find a S&W M&P Shield that fit her perfectly. They took a lot of time with both of us to make sure she was completely comfortable with the gun and the purchase. They even recommended places for training and practice. Their prices have always been fair, even when people were gouging during the ammo drought a few years ago. I consider these guys to be trustworthy, knowledgeable and very helpful. I knew about the bad reputation webyshops has, but they were the only place that listed an impossible to find item in stock. I ordered an item on the web site, providing my credit card info, etc.. A couple days later I noticed it had not shipped. I called and found they did not have the item, but was promised it would ship the next day. The excuse was it was coming from a new supplier. The next day, I got a tracking number. Several days later I was contacted by webyshops, asking for me credit card info again. At this point, I began to suspect they didn't have the item. I'm pretty sure it was discontinued. So, I replied I would provide the payment info over again only if the item was delivered. They replied that they would not ship until they had payment. This is about a week after I placed the order and several days after they told me it was shipped. THIS MEANS THEY HAVE A SCAM OF GENERATING A TRACKING NUMBER WITH THE POST OFFICE TO MAKE IT SEEM THEY HAVE SHIPPED AN ITEM TO GET YOU TO PAY THEM FOR AN ITEM THEY CANNOT DELIVER. read more

I had ordered an EOTech EXPS3-2 Holo Weapon Sight from WebyStores only to receive the 552 model instead. Upon further inspection, I realized I had been sent a counterfeit holographic optic as opposed to a genuine system. I don't typically expect these situations when dealing with reputable companies and just assumed it was simply an error. I initially contacted the company about the incorrect item being sent hoping to resolve the issue and prevent others from receiving counterfeit products; as I can appreciate the possibility of this being an isolated incident. I like Weby Shops. Their website sucks, but the store is good. The staff that work the store are very friendly, they don't treat you like a complete moron like most gun shops. They are understanding and helpful. They don't act as if they know everything and you don't know jack. Again I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. Also the prices are very competitive, cheaper than Cabelas, way cheaper than Bass Pro, with just as a big selection. Called around the metroplex looking for a TLR1 HL and a G17, lo and behold Webyshops has them in stock. I drive down to the store and find out that the only remaining stock of TLR's is in flat dark earth, not black. Maybe sensing I was a little bit disappointed, Mason took the time to unpackage the TLR, put it on a flat dark earth Glock 17 and let me handle it. I was sold. Throughout the transaction Mason and the other gentlemen were easy to chat with, very friendly and Mason alone made me a repeat customer. I've only been to this place once and it was all it took to earn my business! I had been shopping around for a couple weeks for a 1911 and originally showed up to the place to check out their Glocks. Now I'm not a Glock fan but have heard nothing but good things about them. As I browsed the staff seemed very helpful and took the time to compare different guns explaining the pros and cons of each weapon I inquired on! I finally found my beloved 1911 and they made the buying process very smooth they didn't rush me like other gun shops bc they had other customers. They allowed me to take my time and answered every question! Definitely recommend this place, if you have little to zero knowledge on guns these folks are helpful. I did pay a little more for my gun but I'm comparing the price to online pricing which have never done and have no idea how to purchase online. I ordered a benchmade griptilian 551 plain drop point and sand handle from this seller on amazon. The knife I received was the mini griptilian with sheepfoot blade, and black handle. Their pricing is always fair with out the CRAZY gimmicks other dealers require. additionally their knowledge and willingness to help is amazing. I have seen associates assist customers with Gunsmith repairs over the counter for no cost because they have purchased an accessory that was difficult to install. They admitted their online order system has problems. It shows items that are on backorder as in stock. I ordered a handgun and paid to have my FFL dealer email them a license and found out Webyshops did not have the handgun in stock. It gets worse. Their customer service said they new about the problem and assured me the handgun was arriving shortly in the next shipment from their supplier. A month later no shipment has arrived. I checked my online account with Webyshops and my order is not listed and no history of my order can be found. I spoke with Marcus on the phone, Mcrews@webyshops.com and he would send me a email stating the shipment would be arriving shortly and the handgun I paid for was in that shipment. He never sent me a email. A REALLY poor company to do business with. read more
