Brown to see what they could do and when I got there no one was at the reception desk (I did not make an appointment or anything) and a guy named Macy Marsh saw that I was in need and came out to see how he could help. Mind you I had no appointment, I just dropped in. So I told him what I was looking for in a jeep and he said to give him a little while and he would see what he could do. That same night he texted saying not only did he find one but that it had all the extras too and if I would be interested. I sure was. And to make a long story short he was able to get me the jeep of my dreams in about 48hrs of me coming in with no appointment. Macy and H.M. Brown really came through for me. Thanks again to all made it possible.

Working with Macy at H M Brown was the best car-buying experience I've ever had…read more I found a few cars I liked on the site, and Macy brought them all to my house for test drives. I handled the financing from home too--filled out a quick form online and heard back within hours with a rate lower than anything I'd found shopping around myself. Once we found the car I wanted (a 2024 Mazda in perfect condition), wrapping everything up was incredibly easy. No hidden fees like you get at other dealers. The only time I had to visit their location was to pick up my car and sign a couple papers. This was my first time buying from H M Brown, but now I'm a customer for life.

Here's what we experienced: I own a 2017 Jeep Cherokee. there is currently a safety recall out for the PTU. When i got the mail letting me know i had the recall. i took it in within the next 2days to get it done. simple process. got it done within the day. gave me a sheet saying the recall was preformed and they had no recommendations for my car. it was in really really good condition! little did i know what was to come... anyways, AFTER getting my vehicle back not even 24 hours after they "preformed the recall" a dash light came on that had correlated TO THE RECALL they had "repaired" so i reach out to brody. my service advisor. he advised me i can bring it back by and do a diagnosis for damn near $300 i said no, because the light that came on was the light for the PTU recall. he then said i could swing by and they can bring the scanner out to the vehicle and get it checked out at no cost. i said id pass by, never got the chance to. day or two goes by. i'm driving to the store and the car completely stops accelerating. engine still had power but no forward movement. i have my fiance look at it since he is a mechanic. turns out it was THE RECALL. so we have it towed to autonation since they were the last one to touch my car. (note: my car has been running PERFECTLY FINE before they got ahold of it) we call them the next day letting them know what happened and they said they would look into it and every time we asked (which is basically everyday) they said they still hadn't gotten anything. couple weeks later they claim they have chrysler involved in this. (i call bs) they supposedly say everyone is involved to help us out. GIVING FALSE HOPE like i bet they do to EVERY single one of their customers. FINALLY after a MONTH. A MONTH, of it sitting in their shop, not having my car. they come back and say. "Chrysler cannot cover this since it it out of warranty." WRONG. i tell them i have that extended warranty by the manufacturer and they still stand on it being out of the warranty even though ITS IN WRITING that my car has a 8yr/125k warranty on the ptu, my car has 117k miles... idiots. finally were fed up. the only helpful thing they did this entire month was let me have a loaner.. Henry the service manager is a total c***su****. so ignorant and so RUDE. to end this headache, we had them put it back together and we towed it to Castle Rock Jeep. they got us an answer, a loaner car and a BRAND NEW PTU, covered PAID FOR BY JEEP, within 1 1/2 week. it took Autonation almost a month and a half to tell me some bs. DO NOT SERVICE HERE. if you're gonna take your car ANYWHERE, make the drive to CASTLE ROCK JEEP. They actually care, and don't see u as a bag of money like autonation does. AUTONATION IS A GREEDY GROUP OF A HOLES.

Came here to purchase a used Chevrolet Suburban…read more Spoke to Caden Noar who was young and enthusiastic but lacked experience, and knowledge of the car he was selling and sales experience. The price of the car was decent for the year and miles but it did have issues with an exhaust leak and broken passenger interior mirror among other things. Caden and I went on a test drive and the car drove well but you can definitely hear the exhaust leak. After the test drive Caden allowed me to pickup my wife at home with the car and bring her to the dealer. She was able to drive it and liked it but wanted to ensure these issues were fixed and that there not be any more hidden issues. We handed Caden the keys and told him we are going to have dinner and discuss. We decided to sleep on it and got a text from Caden the next day. We advised him we wanted a discount for the issues to cover repairs and advised that his manager would only take 750 off because there were multiple people looking at the car. I told him deal! I just want a repurchase inspection to ensure there are no other issues and we would get the deal done. Caden was advised Branch auto was right down the street and they were expecting the car I asked him if he could just drop the car off their since we were all the way in Castle Rock and once the pre inspection was done and it looked well then we would drive down and sign for it, this was about 1pm. Caden said sure no problem. A few minutes later he called back and said his manger told him he could not do that because multiple people are looking at the car and that Autonation does their multi point inspection and that should suffice and he could give me a copy of the report. I told him I had never purchased a used car without my mechanic touching it. I then asked him for a copy of the inspection to see just what was found. I then called Caden multiple times and he did not answer with questions. I got a text asking what I needed. At this point I just told him I'm gonna come down there and talk to his manager to show how serious I was. Upon getting to the dealer Caden greeted me and was going to hand me the keys to go to my mechanic for pre inspection but when I told him it's 4pm the car may have to sit overnight because it's so late now, he told me had to ask his manager. That was the last I heard or saw from Caden. The sales manager Ryan Kelly came out and told me he was not going to release the car for a pre inspection that I could do it after I purchase the car and I told him "how is that a PRE inspection check, if it's after the purchase" he argued that Autonation has a multi point inspection and they also have a 5 day 250 mile warranty. I argued thats after you run credit and after all the paperwork is done, so if I have to roll back the dice my credit already takes a hit. I then told him this is not the first used car I have purchased from a Autonation and the last time I drank the koolaid only to find out later that the car had issues. He then told me again that there are multiple people test driving the car right now and that there was an appointment set for tomorrow in the vehicle also and that maybe after the appointment tomorrow I could take the car for a pre inspection. It took everything in my power not to tell Ryan off. I told him " you mean to tell me that I am now at the end of your priority list on this sale even though I already told you done deal pending pre inspection that I am going to pay for and I was first to look at the vehicle" He then shrugged his shoulders and told me to call him tomorrow. At that point I don't care how good the deal, the service, sales and customer service are terrible. Caden is inexperienced and doesn't have the knowledge base and Ryan is a terrible leader who doesn't know how to treat customers or care. If you find a car in their inventory that you like here go to another Autonation and have them pull the car , the staff here is horrible what a waste of time.

I recently purchased a BMW 750i from this dealership and had it inspected within two days of…read morepurchase. The inspection identified mechanical issues including a leaking front axle, worn control arm bushings, and a misfire under acceleration. I returned to the dealership the same day to discuss these findings and was told their service department would follow up to schedule an inspection. My return window was extended to allow time for this. However, I did not receive follow-up within that timeframe. Because the vehicle required prompt mechanical attention to be safely and reliably driven, I proceeded with a second inspection and completed the necessary repairs through a BMW specialist, totaling just over $4,000. I attempted to resolve this directly with the dealership and through BBB before leaving this review, but no goodwill assistance was offered. I understand this was an as-is purchase, and the vehicle itself has been solid after repairs. However, I would have expected more timely follow-up and support given that these issues were identified immediately after purchase. Overall, a mixed experience--good car, but the post-sale communication and support did not meet expectations. Update 4/20/26: A service entry was added to my Carfax report on 4/8/26 indicating service performed by this dealership. I did not bring my vehicle to this dealership for service on that date. For context, the vehicle was serviced at a different facility (BMW dealer) on 4/6/26, and I have no record of any visit or service performed at AutoNation. I have submitted a data correction request to Carfax to have this entry reviewed and removed. This raises additional concerns regarding the accuracy of this dealership Update 4/27/2026: Carfax investigation found the service entry to be an error and was removed from the vehicles service history - again a concerning error from this dealership.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I honestly don't know where to begin…read more We purchased our vehicle in April 2025. Initially, the buying experience was pleasant, and Andrew was helpful during the sale. Unfortunately, that is where the positive experience ended. Within 48 hours of my husband driving the car--who is a car enthusiast and has previously worked at a dealership--we noticed serious issues. The vehicle swayed stiffly over bumps and showed resistance while driving. Their service department could not diagnose the problem and insisted the car was "fine." After speaking with their lead mechanic, he agreed we should get a second opinion at a Mercedes-Benz dealership. Around the same time, we noticed the tires were wearing down abnormally fast. They measured an 8 at purchase and dropped to a 2 within two weeks. Mercedes-Benz diagnosed the issue within 30 minutes and confirmed the alignment was not within manufacturer specifications. AutoNation asked us to bring the vehicle back for alignment. I paid $280 for the Mercedes-Benz diagnostic, and AutoNation initially refused to reimburse us--despite recommending the second opinion. Only after repeated pushback did they refund the cost. Throughout this process, the sales manager went back and forth with my husband, adding unnecessary frustration. We later attempted to use the maintenance package purchased at the time of sale. My husband had to return twice because they did not have the correct part for my Mercedes-Benz, resulting in hours of waiting. This was dismissive and disrespectful of our time. After leaving an honest review, we were sent a cease-and-desist letter demanding it be removed. We missed one phone call from them, returned it, and never received a follow-up. I then emailed the general manager and received a call from the assistant manager. During that conversation, I expressed serious concerns about their inability to competently and timely service a Mercedes-Benz. I was told we could simply cancel our warranty and maintenance package and that they may not be able to service a Mercedes at all--despite having sold us those packages in the first place. While we kept the maintenance package, the real buyer-beware warning is the warranty they sell. When our engine fan and starter failed, both were clearly listed as covered. Yet the warranty company stated it was not a warranty at all, but a service contract--directly contradicting what AutoNation told us and what the paperwork states. We were told repairs would only require a $200 deductible. Instead, we paid $2,200 out of pocket and had to fight extensively for partial coverage. The $5,000 cost of this package is absolutely not worth it. Most concerning of all, when we recently scheduled another oil change included in our service package, my husband waited nearly 30 minutes only to be denied service entirely. He was told this was due to the negative review previously left. At no point were we informed that we would no longer be allowed to receive service. The interaction was demeaning, degrading, and handled with a smug lack of professionalism. This experience has shown a clear lack of accountability, transparency, and basic respect for customers. Buyer beware. Think very carefully before purchasing a vehicle, service package, or warranty from AutoNation.
