2014 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X

Recently I was in the market for a clean, no accident, local Nissan Frontier. Found one on AutoNation Dodge Ram Arapahoe in Centennial. When I first messaged them Jacob Fox in Sales responded. We had a comprehensive discussion. Jacob responded with all the details I needed so we set up an appointment for me to come up (from CoS) to check out the truck and test drive the next morning, Saturday when they open. I was there when they opened, met Jacob Fox, a very nice well informed gentleman. He got the keys and we went out to look at the Nissan Frontier PRO-4X. Very nice! We went for a long test drive, out on the highway and in town. Truck ran great, very clean, low mileage, no accidents and a Colorado truck from day one. This checked all my boxes. We went back to the Dealership and met with Finance, who got all the paperwork started. Jacob was kind enough to drive me to the bank where I picked up the Cashiersh's Check and we headed back. Back to Finance, signed all the documents (a lot of them!) Handed over the check and I was on my way back home! Great truck, I love the truck. I highly recommend Jacob Fox. A super nice guy, very well informed, friendly and helpful!! Everyone I met there was nice. Thank you Jacob for your outstanding service and help on my purchase of the Nissan Frontier! EchoPark advertises a 190-point inspection and states on its website that vehicles have no fluid leaks and that brake pads under 4 mm are replaced before sale. My independent Audi specialist found: * An upper timing cover oil leak. * A lower oil pan gasket leak. * Rear brake pads measuring approximately 2 mm. When I brought these findings to EchoPark, they acknowledged the oil leaks but dismissed them as "minor seeps" that met their standards and said they would not repair them. Their explanation was essentially that because oil wasn't dripping onto the ground, they didn't consider it a problem. The brake pads were even more concerning. EchoPark's own published standard says pads below 4 mm should be replaced, yet this vehicle was being sold with approximately 2 mm remaining. Only after I pointed this out did they say they would "look into" replacing them. This wasn't a cheap vehicle either. It was priced above the average market value for comparable Q3s, yet would have required nearly $3,000 in immediate repairs according to my mechanic. The most disappointing part wasn't even the condition of the car. It was the response. Rather than standing behind their inspection process or working toward a reasonable resolution, they simply dismissed legitimate concerns identified by an independent German automotive specialist. If I had trusted EchoPark's inspection instead of paying for my own, I would have driven home in a vehicle with multiple oil leaks and brake pads at the end of their service life. If you're considering buying from EchoPark, spend the money on an independent pre-purchase inspection. It may save you thousands.

We have already traveled near and far with our new vehicle and got a follow up call from Mason, our customer service rep. Nick, and his team polished our car and also made our interaction quick and easy. We did have to drive another location to complete paperwork, however, the distance was only 4 mins away.

And you would think for a dealership with a service dept on site they would diagnose and correct all of the problems before they sell the vehicles, but they don't. They either patch them up and hope you don't notice for two months or I have the worst luck in the world. The vehicle I bought myself ended up being in the shop for at least a month after I discovered it's issue. Thank God I found it a week before my warranty was up or I would have been on the hook for the $5,000 it cost to fix the problem. But it didn't come without a fight. It took the dealership two attempts to fix the vehicle. The first time they fixed the wrong thing, and when I told them I was still having the same issue they told me they weren't going to fix it. We eventually got on the same page and they took my vehicle for another two weeks and finally repaired it. For that I'm grateful. But now the vehicle I bought my grandmother had the check engine light come on. Mechanic comes out to give it a tune up and finds the spark plugs are covered in oil. Boom! It needs a new valve seals. My mechanic says "it looks like it's been this way for quite some time". I bought the car less than a year ago. Unfortunately the warranty has expired on this vehicle. So I'm on the hook for this one. I'm not saying don't buy a vehicle from this dealership. But I am telling you to take your car to a mechanic as soon as you drive it off of the lot to find any issues before your warranty expires. Because from my experience it doesn't seem to me like their service department has their customers best interests at heart.

H M Brown Automotive - Who doesn't want that big red bow on their brand new vehicle?!

Working with Macy at H M Brown was the best car-buying experience I've ever had…read more I found a few cars I liked on the site, and Macy brought them all to my house for test drives. I handled the financing from home too--filled out a quick form online and heard back within hours with a rate lower than anything I'd found shopping around myself. Once we found the car I wanted (a 2024 Mazda in perfect condition), wrapping everything up was incredibly easy. No hidden fees like you get at other dealers. The only time I had to visit their location was to pick up my car and sign a couple papers. This was my first time buying from H M Brown, but now I'm a customer for life.

Extremely disappointing experience with HM Brown Automotive…read more I was purchasing a vehicle through another dealership that had confirmed the vehicle was available in HM Brown's inventory. HM Brown was aware that the other dealership had a buyer for the vehicle and was proceeding with the sale. The next day, when the dealership contacted HM Brown to arrange transportation, they were told that HM Brown had sold the vehicle to someone else. To be clear, this wasn't simply a situation where a vehicle happened to sell before we could buy it. HM Brown knew there was an active transaction involving the vehicle and another dealership, yet chose to sell it out from under that transaction. I understand that dealerships want to sell vehicles, but I also expect businesses to operate with integrity and honor their commitments. This experience made it very clear that I could not trust HM Brown Automotive to do so. I would not recommend this dealership, and based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to do business with them in the future.

If you're in the market for a truck, there is plenty to choose from with their selection of Tundras and Tacomas (definitely the guy-truck crowd!). Autonation has/had a nice selection of gold certified, 2025 4Runners and there was one TRD Premium with only 1,500 miles on it. It was an absolute dream to test drive (everything is nowadays compared to 15yr old "Brady"). Of course, the sticker shock set in once the taxes and fees were added, so I'm still debating any commitment. #ServiceStarShoutOut to Cornell, who was by far the best sales associate to approach us. He took the time to talk with us about the vehicle's features and warranty options without ever making us feel pressured. I totally appreciated his honesty when discussing add-ons, advising us that things like appearance protection (a sticker spotted on many vehicles) aren't always necessary. If you're shopping for a Toyota, I would absolutely recommend asking for Cornell.

The salesman, Nicholas, is the worst I have ever dealt with. Instead of answering my questions, he talked down to me, raised his voice, and treated me like I was wasting his time. I was the customer. I was there to spend real money on a real car. Buying a car is already stressful enough. Nobody should have to put up with being disrespected on top of it. If this is how they treat someone who is actively trying to purchase, I can only imagine how they treat you after they have your money. Take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of dealers who will sell you the same car without the attitude. I'll be buying mine from one of them.
