HIGHLY recommend Webster's! Could not believe how quickly Ed, the owner from Webster's, responded! I left a quote request Monday night before going to bed at midnight. Thought I'd see something in the morning whenever they opened. Ed responded at 5 am by email when he got up for the day and BEFORE he went to work! I had three leather couch cushions that were so flat that we were having trouble getting up off the couch after sitting down. They were also leaving us with backaches. (We bought new foam for them two years ago which was already going flat.) Ed said he'd have to see the cushions to give me an estimate -- and offered to come by my house on his way to work! I did not expect that at all. Thought I'd have to schlepp them to their office personally. Ed came by and gave me a very reasonable price to fix upgrade the cushions to a higher density/higher quality foam. Each cushion has a second sewn in section on top that provides additional filling to add extra fluff. (that's the only way I can think to describe it.) Ed didn't think it needed replacing, but when he took it back to the shop, the guy who actually does the upholstery ON HIS OWN put in filling on one of the cushions to take the second sewn-in section from two inches to four inches. Ed felt it was such an improvement that he called me, told me what they'd done and asked if I wanted them to go ahead. Since it wasn't part of the original job estimate, he offered to do it at cost! I needed to get the cushions back before the weekend, since I was having a party. Then... the last surprise. Webster's truck brought the cushions back to my house 3 HOURS LATER. (Along with two leather thrown pillows I asked them to re-stuff.) The cushions (and pillows) are great. We can now get off the couch without using a hoist (just kidding about the hoist part). The couch is comfortable and our backs NO LONGER HURT from being on something that sinks so low it feels like sitting in a loosely slung a hammock. Have Webster's do your upholstery. Being new to Kern County, I did not know where to get a vintage platform rocking chair reupholstered. I got so lucky when I selected Webster's Interiors! Mr. Ed Hayes helped me select a fabric for my 70-year old upholstered rocker that would bring it into this century while retaining a vintage feel. The arms of the rocking chair and the platform base needed some work and Mr. Hayes had the best specialist for the job! The work was done expertly with a keen eye for detail. The chair hasn't been in such good condition since 1986. I truly believe it's in better condition NOW because the professionals at Webster's Interiors used their expertise to restore my platform rocker to excellent condition. Ed Hayes of Webster's Interiors just completed the reupholstering of the two command chairs and two hide-a-beds in our 40' Motorhome. Webster's did a terrific job. We took it to Webster's mid-morning on a Monday and it was finished by the afternoon of Thursday. In fairness we didn't get a bunch of estimates. Webster's was the only shop I contacted that had the ability to accommodate a vehicle that is 40' long and 9' wide. We recently discovered Webster's Interiors and are so grateful we did. What a find! I am now actually examining the rest of the furniture in my house to see if there is anything else I can take it in. So far, we have had 6 dining room chairs, 4 pillows, 1 desk chair, and 1 very unique and special sacramental-use chair upholstered. Every piece came out beautifully and professionally done. Ed is so professional, with an obvious commitment to excellence in service and craftsmanship. He also under-promises and over-delivers. He told me he did not think he could have our order completed until after Thanksgiving, and then surprised us by having it done way prior to the holiday. The antique sacramental chair badly needed repair and fresh fabric. The fabric Ed helped us find is exquisite, and the chair has a new life! I am actually considering having a gathering of people over so we can admire and celebrate together the arrival of this gorgeous and meaningful work of art. I had a really great experience with getting a couple of antique chairs reupholstered at Webster's recently. A few months ago I got a couple of antique chairs from my Grandmother's barn when we were cleaning out all the old furniture. The chairs had definitely seen some better days, but Ed assured me that they've done this kind of work before, and I had seen some examples of previous work they had done on antiques. I set up a time to drop of the furniture, picked out fabric that I liked, and the chairs were done a few weeks later. They came out even better then I thought, and Ed went the extra mile to clean up the wood and make sure everything looked like he had promised! I am extremely satisfied with the service. I had chairs that were framed the same but with different cushion styles, upholstery fabric, and wood that had weathered differently. After taking the chairs to Webster's they looked almost identical. I will definitely be taking any future upholstery jobs to this business. I base most of my purchases, etc on honest reviews. I looked up Webster's Interiors and decided to give them a try based on their stellar reviews. I'm so glad I did! First of all, it is so refreshing to be greeted by people who are kind and actually like their job. I talked with Ed regarding my two different pieces of furniture. He was knowledgable and I felt he really understood what I was wanting done. They took an old, ugly "grandma" chair and turned it into a beautiful "young lady". The other piece was a very small almost antique like bench with a back. It was in need of a cushion. We worked together to find the appropriate type of cushioning then came up with fabric and trim to coordinate with the existing bench fabric. It turned out really nice! It was a gift for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. By the way, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly my items were finished. Ed and the people at Webster's restuffed the cushions on our twelve year old leather couch and chairs. He gave us a great price and extraordinary service. He and one of his guys came one day to get the chairs and moved chairs from our sitting room to take their place. Then they finish the chairs and bring them back the very next day and took the couch...which they finished a day early. It's like we got brand new furniture. I cannot believe how comfortable our furniture is now. Ed quoted me a price, but he then discovered he needed bigger padding for the job. He agreed to absorb the cost of the sales tax to give me an overall discount. Great service and integrity. My wife has already given out their name to other people. Ive just had two chairs upholstered and intend to use Websters for anything similar going forward. Robert/Bob and his staff were very personable and knew their stuff. Bob allowed me to take several sample books home for a few days to give me as much time as I needed to choose which covering I would use. It impressed me even more that, after I had identified possible choices, Bob suggested a few other possibilities, some of which cost less than what I had already been considering. These are people who want to get it right. They worked with me on getting the chairs to and from the workplace and the chairs came back beautifully done. I have one word to describe them, AMAZING. First, they picked up and dropped off my couch for no extra fee. This is a huge plus since I don't have a truck. Ed even gave me a quote after I sent him photos via text. Everyone else I called told me to bring it in before they would even give a number. This was a problem without a truck. As to the couch, I gave him the most hideous piece of furniture with scuffs along the bottom wood railing. He sent it back with the fabric I gave him and he even refinished the wood railing without me asking. I don't even recognize the couch. It is beautiful and the centerpiece of my living room. Seven Oaks Country Club recently completed a patio renovation of our Oak Terrace. With the purchase of the new outdoor patio furniture, we where not happy with the fabric choices, price and quality of the manufactures seat cushions. Our extra large "Big Man" recliner was 15 years old...I say "was" because, thanks to Webster's, we have a brand new recliner...better than new...and for much less than the cost of a new one! Ed Hayes with Webster's Interiors is professional and a master of his craft. I had a couch cushion recovered and it looks amazing. I found Ed to be extraordinarily professional and easy to work with. I live in a small town outside of Bakersfield and I needed a cushion recovered after my cat put a tear in the material. I called Ed and he was willing to work with me via mail! I sent him a fabric sample and he quickly sent me a fabric sample in return to make sure I was satisfied with the match. We had Webster's reupholster two vintage sofas for us and they did a very good job! They even worked with us to find a better fabric when the one we had picked didn't work out. These guys really understand good furniture. We highly recommend this shop! Their fabric selection was good, they adjusted our sofas' frames and added new foam and were very amenable to us dropping by to say hi. Unlike other shops, these folks pick up and drop off large pieces, they stay in communication while they're working on your job, and they explain what they're doing. Wow! I am so pleased! I called with some questions about recovering the chaise lounge in my Master bedroom. They responded quickly by phone and was able to send me an estimate after I text them a picture. They reminded me it was a rough estimate which was wise. I had the fabric already and they picked it up on Tuesday and delivered it back on Friday just like they promised. They were careful with the other furniture and walls in the house as they moved it. Delivery was an additional $40 and they charged $60 per yard of fabric. The pattern in the fabric was matched perfectly. It's beautiful and the turn around was so quick! read more

I had this wonderful down chair & 1/2 for many years. It was lovingly known as Grandma's Chair and had been through many years of grandchildren's hugs and stories. But sadly, all the love had finally worn it down. My heart was broken to let the memories go but then my sister told me about Ed Hayes and Webster's Interiors! I was requesting a material that Ed was unfamiliar with but was eager to work with me to source what I had wanted. I had wanted to use some materials that would have broke the bank but Ed was there to talk me off the edge without degrading the quality or appearance.
