Wow! What a great experience I had with Webster's Interiors and Upholstery!! The owner, Robert, was amazing from the beginning to the end. I had a family heirloom channel back chair that needed to be reupholstered. Robert got back to me the same day that I left a voicemail. He answered all my questions, gave me lots of information and a quote. He kept me up to date on the progress, and was spot on with his price quote and finish date. On top of Robert being a pleasure to work with, his upholsterer, Ramon, did an absolutely beautiful job on recovering and hand tucking my very special chair. The chair is gorgeous, and exceeded all my expectations! These guys know what they are doing, and it's no wonder they have been in business for many, many years! Sincerely, Tammy Curran read more

Robert was very patient with me as I went through many books looking for a fabric for my recliner redo. He gave great advice on which fabrics would work or not and called for pricing and availability on several. When the fabric came in, his crew did a professional job recovering my recliner in record time. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Webster's Interiors fr your upholstery needs. read more

We dropped off a small ottoman for reupholstering last Wednesday. I picked it up today and am very happy with the job! The reason for only four stars is that the place is VERY unorganized and the owner is available only by appointment. Granted, they just moved, but there seems to be no urgency in creating a customer-friendly environment. Nevertheless, my ottoman is FANTASTIC!!! read more

Robert Hay came highly recommended to reupholster our sectional sofa/loveseat. Our Flexsteel furniture is 25 years old, but the frame was like new. . . so we decided not to buy new. A great decision! From our first call, we could tell that Robert took a lot of pride in his business. His fabric selection was huge and we found the perfect material. Robert's very professional crew picked up our furniture and redelivered a beautiful product in just over a week. Bakersfield is indeed fortunate to have a great company like Webster's. read more

Got a quote for upholstering patio cushions... It's one thing to try and make a profit - but claiming twice the amount of fabric needed, selling it at twice the price of ordering it myself from the manufacturer directly, and then charging over 5 times as much for labor as the other 4 places I have gotten a quote from seems to be a BLATANT RIPOFF. My advice, do not do business here! read more

Based on online reviews, we chose Websters interiors to restore two damaged and worn out living room chairs. We settled on coverings from a boatload of choices, and Robert and crew restored these chairs to showroom beauty. The repairs were extensive, with additional work needed to repair a cracked frame, trim wood refinishing, and rocker swivel and spring hardware. We couldnt be happier. Thank you Robert. The value in these chairs was mostly sentimental to my wife, and now they are a cherished focal point in our living room. read more

My experience with Webster's was EXCELLENT from start to finish. Robert was very helpful and accommodating with providing overview of the process and timeline. They have a vast selection of fabric samples to view and Robert was helpful in providing insight on how pattern would lay/repeat on my wingback chair. He was very prompt in addressing my questions and once I made my fabric selection Robert provided a target timeline for the completion of the work. They kept me up to date when work was in progress through to completion. The craftsmanship was excellent. Great customer service!! read more

I needed a quick repair on some outdoor upholstery. They fixed it while I waited, were friendly, and affordable. I would definitely go back.

Ed is the real deal when it comes to everything upholstery. I am a truly satisfied customer and I have no complaints. From the get go, he gave me a personalized experience tailored to my needs and style. His building is tidy, clean and very organized. The walls are lined with booklets of sale fabric and even so without hesitation he grabbed the sample that he new would best fit or high volume practice needs. Ed customized bench cushions for us that turned out perfect. Not to mention a one week turn around! Super fast, but had no compromise on quality. Thank you TO EVERYONE AT WEBSTER'S! read more

Ed Hayes and his team are AMAZING! We had a "Natuzi" brand sectional (which isn't mainstream I might add), who's support straps underneath had degraded in the short time we had it. After interviewing a few companies on the phone, we engaged Websters for the repair. Ed personally came out, examined the underside, and made a recommendation to replace the strapping with jute. In less than a week, the repair was completed, and Ed personally delivered the piece back. Highest praise for Ed Hayes and Websters Interiors! read more

Ed at Webster's Interiors is the most considerate, caring businessman my mother has encountered in many years. My mother recently needed to have plantation shutters repaired and called another local company to do the job. The day of the appointment the owner bailed on her at the last moment and refused to do the work. She was beyond disappointed and didn't know who to call next. After looking on the internet under "shutters and blinds," up popped Webster's Interiors, so she called and Ed answered. He listened patiently to her plight and then explained that he sold blinds and shutters but wasn't in the repair business. Never-the-less he offered to help her and asked her to text him a photo of the broken shutters, which she did. Then he made a couple of calls to tradespeople he knew and within a few hours Carlos Venegas, a really talented shutter repair man came to her house and fixed all her broken plantation shutters for a reasonable price. She was just amazed and so grateful to both men. Carlos, for the repair work and Ed for recommending and contacting him for her when there wasn't anything (monetary) in it for him. That is real class! Based on how Ed treated a stranger who needed help, she would trust and highly recommend his services. read more

I couldn't be happier with the job Ed and his team at Webster's Interiors did on my antique chair. I had taken it to another shop to be reupholstered initially and my chair was done so poorly I was given a refund. Not only did I get the chair into Webster's the same day, but the owner helped entertain my child while helping me decide on a fabric. The entire team was professional, courteous, and the chair was completed in the time that was promised. They were able to restore the damage that the other shop had caused and the end result was spectacular. I could not be happier.
