In the time of waiting for that I got my CDL and had to go get my license redone so I could start driving a truck for work. But because the two happened within a week of each other I only had a paper copy of my new license and the good one they voided out at the license office. I now have to wait another month for another appointment to try again. I had my birth certificate, my social security card, my paper license, my voided license that was still good until 2032 until they voided it, and my marriage certificate but non of it was good enough.

The front-end employees have always been nice and welcoming, but unfortunately, I cannot say the same for upper management. I visited on 10/23/24 to take care of my driver's license. On two separate occasions, the Missouri DMV online chat agents confirmed that the documents I provided were sufficient to meet the requirements, and they didn't understand why the supervisor was telling me otherwise. The supervisor came out of the back office with a condescending tone, waving a paper listing the requirements (which I also had in front of me, having printed it from the website). She used the excuse that it was a federal requirement, despite the chat agents advising me to ask them to contact their support team, as everything I had was deemed acceptable. It seems like she wasn't familiar with the proper procedure. Privatized DMVs shouldn't exist unless all staff are properly trained to follow the rules and regulations set by the state. To make matters worse, I was spoken to in a condescending manner simply for asking the individual handling the licenses to show her the photo proof that the DMV agents had deemed acceptable. I'm extremely disappointed in this location, especially since it was recommended to me by a few people.
