Over the years it has gotten quite busy here and the lines are long; leading to frustration. One new thing they are doing: there is now a person at the door going over and making sure you have the correct paperwork BEFORE you get in line. I thought I had all the correct paperwork, but Elaina who was working the door, went through it and pointed out one more item I needed. This helped me tremendously and I did not have to wait to get up to the counter to find out. Once I had the correct paperwork, Elaina sent me to the counter Krista then helped me. She was awesome! She took care of everything and I was out in a reasonable amount of time. Both Elaina and Krista represented the company in only the best of experience that day.

I generally like to use this DMV location and have had good experiences in general. My most recent…read morevisit was to complete my registration for my new vehicle and pay the sales tax. Since it took a little longer to get my paperwork from the dealership then of course, when I finally do, it was close to my vacation time that I only had 2 days to complete the registration. I didn't need new plates as I transferred my previous one and still have valid sticker til 2027. When I got there, the place was packed. They have check-in kiosks where you may choose the service you need and enter in your phone number. Also, a human is present to help you if you aren't sure what to choose as a "service." They text you when it's close to your turn and call your name as well. I didn't leave the facility. There were only 3 people ahead of me getting registration done so it went somewhat faster (15-minute wait). When I was finally called, Gabby helped me. She was friendly but not chatty which is good. She was quick and respected my privacy by writing down the amount I needed to pay on a sticky note and handed it to me. I heard a couple clerks blurt out the number. No one needs to know which is why I preferred Gabby's method. I wrote the check and she did the rest. I bought an EV so I told her I needed the Missouri tax sticker (definitely NOT a reward for being environmentally conscious) and she got me that as well. Less than $75 for the sticker, it's good for the year. I forgot to ask though if this is something that I can get online and mailed to me like my re-registration. While I don't mind coming here, I'd hate to have to do it every year just to get a sticker. Anyway, it was a successful visit and I was able to do everything in less than an hour. So thankful as I would have had to pay the late registration fee when I got back from vacation.

His colleagues told him to use translation so it would be easier for a customer to understand what he was asking but he didn't care and told her to be quiet and gave the man no real help or opportunity to even understand what he was trying to tell him. Something so easy as translation could have saved this poor guy from having to pay for a visit to the eye DR if he had stopped being rude and disrespectful to the customer. Also, I got here at 9:45ish am and there was me and only 2 other people inside, so no it wasn't busy so there was no reason for him to be so mean and in a rush. No job is easy but when you work at a DMV, you have to be better. So if you are waiting in line for an ID OR DRIVERS LICENSE and he's the one to help you, I'd let the next person go so you can get someone who's truly going to help you. Only rating my experience a 1 because it was truly disgusting the way he treated this man. The women who helped me were awesome!

Title application, registration, and new plates: In and out in ten minutes! TIP: E'ville knows that Tuesday is the worst day for this office, since it's closed Sunday and Monday, and everyone who has purchased a car or turned sixteen during the weekend is anxious to complete a transaction.

But you never see them pulled over for impeding traffic. Then when you call a cop for an actual problem, like 6 of them show up and only one actually does something. And then a hour later they all leave with to my knowledge, nothing resolved. I think I would rather have that overly fat/ partially dork hall monitor from high school show up and help me.
