Excellent experience at the Shooting Complex! We were new to the range and had several questions when we entered. Though busy, the folks working were super nice in answering all of our questions and concerns prior to starting our time. Range is extremely clean, well maintained, and the staff working make you VERY safe. Definitely a priority here. Couple notes before you go: - Targets must be purchased at the range, but they are cheap. Don't bring a ton of extra money as it isn't needed. - It gets chilly in the winter, wear a light jacket. - Make sure all magazines are unloaded so they can check them for metals that are not allowed. Kids were welcome here and there were quite a few shooting. The range master is good about letting you work with and supervise the littles. Have fun! read more

My son and I were looking for some place to exercise our 2A rights to put some lead down range and we found Weber County Sport Shooting range to be the perfect place. The staff there was awesome. Sarge welcomed us in and explained all the ins and outs of the range. Very well kept and pricing was more than fair. We spent a few hours making sure we are ready for the zombie apocalypse haha. Overall a great experience. Will definitely visit again to get our zombie killing fix tamed. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SHOOTING RANGE EXPERIENCE! GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE! I've been to many shooting ranges, but nothing could have prepared me for the horrendous experience at this particular one. It started off with what I can only describe as a blatant money-grabbing power trip. You are required to shoot on their 50-yard range to "certify" each weapon before being allowed to use any other range, regardless of the caliber. The whole ordeal is a time consuming disaster. Keep in mind, it took 2 hours before we could go to the other range... Before you even get to shoot at the range, you have to endure an eternity of time-wasting nonsense. First, they waste an absurd amount of time checking your ammunition. Then, you're forced to sign multiple waivers that require more information than they need. By the end of it, you feel like you've signed your life away for the privilege of shooting a few rounds. Let's talk about the staff - rude, condescending, and absolutely lacking any semblance of intelligence. It's astonishing that these people are employed, let alone allowed to be around firearms. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with hostility. Their condescending attitude was matched only by their incompetence. It's like dealing with people who shouldn't be trusted to tie their own shoes, let alone manage a shooting range. This range was staffed by older individuals who seemed to have never accomplished anything in their lives, and this is their only opportunity to control others. Now, the cherry on this disaster of a sundae: the chronograph incident. We called ahead and confirmed with someone that we could bring and use our own chronograph. We then double checked when we arrived in person, The website even states they offer chronographs for rent. Upon arrival, after jumping through all the ridiculous certification hoops and wasting ammunition, we asked again to confirm, only to be met with a dismissive, "No, you can't use your own chronograph." Their own chronograph? "Oh, it hasn't worked for a long time." Are you kidding me? We planned our entire trip around this, only to be lied to and misled. Then proceeded to call us liars when I brought up the fact they had told us we could. This might not be a big deal to most, but we drove 1.5 hours for this reason. We spent 2 hours from start to finish going through inspections and certification wasting ammunition. All that time and money to end up leaving due to them not honoring their word and letting us use our chronograph. Every aspect of this range is a scam, designed to squeeze every last dollar out of unsuspecting patrons. The staff's hostility and sheer lack of basic human decency and intelligence make the entire experience unbearable. Save yourself the frustration, money, and time - go literally anywhere else. This place is a disaster and should be avoided at all costs. This place should be out of business! read more

Me and my son were there trying to enjoy ourselves safely and just shoot our long rifle and have some fun again safely, but there was one of those teammates there that just would not stop riding us. He just don't know if he had anybody else to talk to or what but man he was just honest and then we decided to shoot a second hour cause we're having such a good time And he put us at 16 and he knew exactly what we're shooting at the distance that we're shooting and then 20 minutes before ending time he comes back to all you can't shoot here anymore. You can give me an option to go to another lane. I just so frustrated with him. I just said we're done And I hope that changes with this teammate that is just no way to treat people that come in there and wanna just enjoy time with their whoever they bring or by themselves back up let them breathe. This complex is among the nicest I've visited. The volunteer staff is welcoming and pleasant. The grounds are monitored and appear to be fairly secure. I found the 50 yard range to be well equipped with dimmable lighting and easy to control semi-automated target lines. The staff promotes safety and they like their range, no metal piercing or steel ammo allowed. Have empty mags and ammo readily available for them to check with a magnet. Also, they sell their own targets and they're sized to fit on their runners. The smaller range is 21' (7 yards) to 150' (50 yards) and pistols work great here yet you can sight in your carbine for the longer 300 yard range use around the corner. read more

One of the best places to shoot in Utah, great bunch of volunteers, and very friendly, and knowledgeable. Don't bring any steel ammo to this range, it causes great damage to the steel backstops. I love going to the rimfire matches held every other Monday! Wonderful, friendly folks but also very competitive! The 300 yard range is awesome, I really enjoy shooting my 6.5 Creedmoor there! If you like rude old men then this is the place for you! I went here tonight for my second time and they were rude from the start. Then it came to ammo inspection. I have 4, 20 round magazines full of 6.5 Creedmore. I pulled out the loaded magazines for them to inspect. They asked me to unload them. I said well we can pull as many as you like from what ever magazine you like.to check the ammo. Its all the same I told him. He said, "no you have to unload all of them so I can check it all. I'm not questioning your word, but you see those cameras? I could be in trouble if I don't completely unload and check all of it." Well what a bunch of BS. I am not dumb enough to believe that some camera watching manager sits there and reviews video to make sure that the range master unloaded every round out of my magazines. I said well that seems extreme. I am not going to unload all of my magazines. One of the other rude guys said well then you can go shoot wherever you have been shooting. I zipped up my bag and said okay, have a good one... and I left. I know an insult when I hear one. If a man says you can check whatever you like they are all the same. Then you might as well check it and take his word. Anything beyond that is rude and silly besides. If I wanted to smuggle in some steel ammo (that I have never even seen in 6.5 creedmore) then I would just stash a box in my bag. or in my jacket pocket. Its not like you're searching me or my bags! This place has way too many restrictions and rules. They told me I could not shoot any closer than 7 yards with a pistol and 25 yards with a long gun. Who cares if you shoot at 2 to 24 yards away? Apparently they do. They also gave me a hard time about putting tape on my targets and watch your one hour of time very very closely. There are better shooting ranges out there that do not treat you like this. I have been to many shooting ranges in my over 15 years of shooting. Likely I will not go back again unless they stop treating people like this or relax their rules. read more

This range is the best I have seen in the area. High tech target trolleys and general equipment, good ventilation, very friendly RO's, high standards for safety, inexpensive fees and great hours of operations including Open Sundays, can briefly describe this range. Highly recommended! read more

Great range. The facilities are amazing and most of the staff are great, too. They aren't trying to sell you anything, so unlike some other ranges in the area, you aren't going to experience lesser customer service for not being "tactical enough" or not spending enough money in other areas of the store. The half open nature of the range keeps the air from getting too smokey, even when someone is shooting cast lead or black powder. There are a couple of ROs who are a bit unpleasant, but there are more good than bad by a wide margin. Great prices on ears ($.50 for disposable and I think $14 for nice ones), eyes ($5 for good quality safety goggles), and targets ($.50/paper target). For the cost of 4 targets at the other ranges in the area, I can shoot another full hour! This is my range of choice. If you go, get to know a couple of the ROs, and shoot a couple of boxes of ammo, it'll be yours, too! read more

Honestly what more is there to say about a shooting range other than the name.. What you say in the title is exactly what you get. They were fast getting us in there, very informative on how it all works and focused a lot on safety. It all looked like it was really nice and I was happy with my time here. One thing I will say is that it was run by a bunch of old people so all the tech was very outdated. Not necessarily in the range itself but everything before it. The instructional video was a computer monitor projected on a TV on the wall. The computer looked like it was running Windows 8 and you could see whoever was controlling it move their mouse like your grandparents trying to show home videos at a family christmas party. I know its not a big deal and didn't take away from the fun of shooting just thought it could use a nice tech update, which would require younger people to work there. The workers did know their stuff though so it was all good. Go test your skills here. Its one of the better ones around as far as indoor shooting ranges go. read more

Wanna shoot your iron-sighted M-1 Garand, Lee-Enfield, Mauser 98, AR-15 or any other rifle with open sights? Well, you'll be restricted to the fifty yard range. The 100-300 yard range is called the "Precision Rifle Range". They have their own little scope-sight rifle club there and they won't let you shoot there with iron sights. That's bull crap! I drove twenty minutes only to be told I couldn't shoot my iron-sighted AR. I don't even own a scope-sighted rifle! Daniel W. says in his review that people can shoot black powder. Sorry, you can't anymore. You're gonna have to go somewhere else. I ain't goin' back! You know, there should not be any rhyme or reason for them to disallow iron-sighted rifles on the 100-300 yard range. Don't waste your time unless you're ok with shooting your iron-sighted rifle on the fifty yard range. Otherwise, you'll have to bring your scope-sighted rifle and join their little "club"! read more

This has be one of the cleanest and best ranges I have seen. The range rules might be a bit constrictive but that helps make the range a nice place to shoot. I really like this range a lot. read more
