Usually have a good experience however, we went to go do the shotgun clays and some people before us who weren't members requested black light because no one was around which is fair, we've done the same. However, we had asked to turn the lights on because it was not a posted black light night and the gentleman helping us told us we would have to go ask the people shooting if they'd be okay if we switched it which I think is lame considering we came to shoot on a night that was not black light and are members. read more

This is the third time I go clay shooting at this location. $30 for 30min doesn't seem bad at first till you realize every time you shoot, you are forced to wait a full minute. This makes it so you only get 15min of actual shooting (even if you are the only one at the range). When it comes to the clay machines, I had an issue with one of the two I wanted to use not working from the start and the other one stopped working right at the end. Told staff about the issue, and they said it was on them for not resetting the machines. They only gave me $6 off.. Staff needs more training on how to satisfy customers when they make mistakes.. Wonderful range. Used the rifle tunnel and had a great time. Only four stars as parking is almost impossible to find in their busiest times, not even any parking on the street. If you can, go during the weekday before 3:00pm. Staff is courteous and helpful. Price was a little high, but the facilities are top notch. read more

I used to be a very avid target shooter. About ten years ago I sold almost all of my guns and haven't really done any shooting since then. Well, my daughter just turned 22 and she wanted to go to the range and shoot some real guns. She's an amazing gamer who plays some really good VR shooting games like Hotdogs Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, and Boneworks. I highly doubted this VR shooting experience would translate well to actually shooting real guns, but there's no other way to find out than to go shoot some real guns. So we headed out to TNT and got the unlimited gun rentals, a lane and some ammo. She was ridiculously good at shooting! I am a military veteran and worked temporarily in shipboard security as well as being on the ship's Initial Response Team and the Visit Board Search and Seizure team which required various firearms qualifications. I did quite well on my qualifications, largely because target shooting was a major hobby of mine at the time. I had a membership to a local range and went almost once a week and would typically fire at least 100 rounds per visit. Anyway, TNT is the nicest range I've ever been to. The staff was over the top awesome! The booths are fantastic and gave my daughter and I the privacy we needed for me to go over the finer details of firearms handling and safety. The selection was pretty good. There were some things they didn't have that we would have liked, but its not like they can carry every gun in the world as a rental. The biggest disappointment was that the one and only revolver they had was a .22 cal. I really wanted to rent a .357 and try both .38 special and .357 to sort of show my daughter the difference in the rounds. I mean they have the .357 burger joint but you can't rent a .357 to shoot? Anyway, we had a really good time and it has been so long since I've been out shooting but now I think I might pick it up again. Having a great range like this makes the prospect so much more appealing. The privacy of each lane is a huge part of that! read more

One of my favorite gun ranges. I frequent TNT for several reasons: 1. Indoor range - when I don't feel like braving whatever weather is happening in Utah, but I do feel like shooting, I never hesitate to go because TNT has an indoor handgun, rifle, AND shotgun range! 2. BIG private lanes - you can comfortably fit a group of 4 into these private lanes, and there is sliding door access to the hallway, and to the lanes on either side of you in case you want to go back and forth between lanes with your friends. I prefer this to just the partitions in the shooting area because it's a more private experience even though this place can get pretty busy. There are coat hooks and stools to sit on. 3. INDOOR SHOTGUN RANGE! Yeah! This feature solidifies TNT as my favorite range, I love being able to work on my trap and skeet skills without having to freeze in the snow. There are several lanes and it's far less busy than the handgun range. You get the same big private shooting lanes with the doors, and you can select your difficulty level and how many clay pigeon throwers out of 5 you want to use. When there are multiple lanes in use the clocks cycle through everyone, so you end up waiting your turn. Each lane has a display overhead that gives each shooter a 60 second countdown, but when it's your turn you get the whole warehouse sized room to shoot at your target. My only complaints about this particular wing of TNT is that there is not much insulation, so you feel the temperature outside. Sometimes it's uncomfortably hot or cold in there, so dress accordingly to the season. Also, it seems like these computer screens in each booth get broken or have problems frequently, if it's not working ask someone up front to switch your lane and comp your time. They're good about it :) 4. You can buy and rent guns here! Don't have a shotgun? They'll rent you one. Same with handguns and rifles. They'll sell you their ammo to shoot their guns, but you can bring your own ammo (as long as it fits their specs). 5. This is worth mentioning even though I've never tried it, there's a burger joint attached to this range so you can fuel up while you're waiting for a lane, or satisfy your hunger after a session. This is really convenient because there aren't a ton of eateries in the immediate area. 6. This range is always clean and beautiful, with plenty of friendly staff. I've never had more than one person in line in front of me, even though this location is consistently busy. It's a friendly environment for new and experienced patrons. Tips: If you can't find a parking space, go around to the back, there's plenty of room! If it's your first time, fill out your safety waiver before you get there so you're not lingering on the iPad forever. It can be found on their website. Remember your safety gear, they sell "ears and eyes" here if you don't have any. Remember your ID, they usually take and hold this while you are shooting (or just one person's ID if you're with a group). You pay after and you can return stuff you don't use, like targets. read more

TNT's staffing is getting better and better. The customer service even over a few months has changed drastically. I think they might have fired a few of the bad eggs. The space is very cool, clean, and I don't feel like I'm being worked over like at a lot of other ranges. The pricing is not bad, and the ammunition cost, I'm pretty happy with. Their selection is freaking amazing and I fell like they take the time to help you understand the differences between firearms. over all, they are really doing a great job, and I will continue to come back expecting the greatness I already see! read more

This has to be one of if not the biggest indoor gun ranges in the Salt Lake Valley. They have a huge selection of guns to buy or rent and a ton of lanes for target shooting. One of the coolest things there is the indoor skeet range. You can imagine how big that range is. It's setup to handle quite a few shooters and has a system to keep track of your shots. It also has a small cafe for getting burgers and stuff. Great spot! read more

Nice gun range but expect a wait. Once you get in, you'll get up to an hour to shoot. Range areas are nice and enclosed, I wouldn't recommend for more than 3 at a time. If you're in a larger group they will try and cram up to 6 in a stall, which is not safe but ok per fire code, so don't say you're in a group. They also wouldn't let us have back to back time blocks for a larger group. Wish we just split up and say we were 3 and 3. They make more money cramming in 6 per lane so it makes sense. They couldn't care less about trying to make for a nice bachelors event, even when calling in advance. I would go back with just my wife, but not with a group. read more

I've been here a few times and it's about as good as any of the other indoor gun ranges I have been to in the valley. Currently, because of the ammo shortage, be prepared to bring your own 9mm ammo if you bring your own weapon. Also ammo for rentals is also limited. They offer ear and eye protection rentals, as well as targets you can buy. I like that they offer a non digital means to fill out safety wavers. There is a burger place attached, which is convenient especially if you want to grab some food after practice. Overall it's a decent place to shoot if you're looking for an indoor range and it is near the freeway, which might be convenient for some people. read more

One of the cleanest and elaborate gun ranges I've ever been to in Utah--and I loved it! Their lanes are separated by full walls so you get to enjoy your own personal cubicle with your group. The walls are painted like southern Utah red rock, creating a fun aubiance. The facility is VERY clean so that's another plus! We have yet to try the restaurant and the virtual gun range. I've been to a couple of gun ranges but this one takes first place. Easily. Fair pricing and I love how you shoot in like this tunnel. Just you and your party. So it isn't as loud. They have a wide selection to choose from and you can pay for unlimited choices of guns. If it's busy there is a limit and that's fair. I'm an old Army Colonel and I don't put up with much clutter or incompetence. I found neither at TNT. Ranges were clean and stocked with a supply of alligator clips to hold the targets. The target rail system is lighted and worked flawlessly. We all know that COVID-19 has made it tough for all businesses to find quality personnel. Simply the best gun range you will find in Utah, or maybe even the west. Service is super clean and easy with electronic check in that records your information and makes check in the next time a flash. From there you can select to shoot on the 25yd pistol lane, 100yd pistol/rifle range or the indoor skeet range. All are 5-Stars! Pistol - ALL PRIVATE LANES. The lanes are not connected end to end like your normal range, they are all private with nice sturdy barn doors, and room for 4 men to comfortably be in the room and shoot. All the lanes have large tables, plenty of clips to hold your targets up, and ELECTRONIC yardage. You simply put in the yardage you want, and it slides out to the exact spot! Also, a couple of the lanes (14 & 15) have very sophisticated programs that will spin and expose the target a variety of times. All very challenging and fun! Rifle - They have five 100 yard indoor ranges in the basement! They are super quiet and amazing! The lighting is great, set up is awesome, and they have all the supports there on hand for you to use to sight in your gun, or shoot supported. Recently they also upgraded to have a camera on the carriage, so you can see exactly where you are hitting (lane 4)! Shotgun - We shot here for a party, and it was SO FUN! They have 6 stands, and great displays that give you a timer and countdown to your turn. You can then select on the touch screen from the 7 different throwing locations, or place it at random. It took us a second to figure out that the pigeons do break with they hit the far wall. Shot over 300rds that evening, and was all smiles! My favorite range that I've ever been to. It does get super busy on weekends but thats a given. The employees are always nice and lane rentals are only 15 bux! I love how each 25 yd lane has their own private booth where you slide the door closed and dont have people looking over your shoulder. Great gun rental selection as well and they have a burger shop right next door if u happen to get hungry and a shooting session. Went shooting here for my birthday. The guys are so knowledgeable and helpful. Besides that shooting a glock is the most fun thing you could do how can you even go wrong? The lanes are private and easy to use. You can buy guns get burgers after rent any and everything you need. You can ask them anything and they will tell you you don't have to feel like your questions are silly. I asked so many LOL. They let you try as many guns as you want and switch them out if you feel like it. You can take up to four People per Lane. It's $10 a person. You can bring your ammo buy ammo bring your own guns rent guns. So fun! Totally recommend this for a date night, birthday or if you're bored! Can't wait to go back. Usually we just go for burgers because they're so good but now I'm addicted and I wanna shoot every single day! read more

Service has always been mediocre. I remember when this place first opened, it was jammed back and unorganized. You had people standing around, others waiting to be helped but are standing in line with those who are just waiting for a lane. Its a bit better now, however the staff has gone downhill. I do not feel very welcomed and many of the guys are total jerks. One in particular told us twice that we had to use their ammo on their rental guns. This is understandable for those with dirty ammo. I grabbed their box of ammo for 13 bucks holy cow...and the guy repeatedly told me to NOT use my own as I was walking into the lanes. I understood him the first two times and he proceeded to tell me another time. It was very obnoxious. Advice? Go during a week day maybe you will not have to wait an hour long for a lane and they will not treat you poorly! read more

I don't even know where to begin with this review, but here we go.... My mother, son and I planned our spring break trip around visiting TNT. Yes, we are aware how crazy that seems. But honestly if you're going to plan a quick trip to an indoor range this is definitely the place. We live in Southern California (Inland Empire) and have been to several of our local ranges. This range is like Disneyland compared to those ranges. We all felt like VIPs all three days we came in. Every single staff member was incredibly polite and helpful. I didn't catch everyone's name, I'm sorry, but we appreciate each one of you. Our first day (Thursday) we came in the morning and stayed for about 3 or 4 hours because there was hardly anyone at the range. We were able to get lunch at 357 burgers (in the same building) to keep us going. P.S. The burgers are pretty damn tasty!! Both Friday and Saturday we came in the evening and because these are busy days we had to wait about 45 minutes before getting a lane. Due to the line of people we were held to the 1 hr time limit. No biggie, we totally get it. Their selection of rentals still blows my mind. And their prices are amazing. (In CA, we pay $10-15 a pistol and $20 for a rifle). My son likes to try out several different guns during our range time so we opted for the UNLIMITED package that runs $20. They have a very large selection of targets as well. Pretty cheap in my opinion. A large target will run you $1. (In CA we pay $2 or $3) The booths are like nothing we've experienced before. In the 25 yard range, they are approx 6 ft wide and maybe 8 to 10 ft deep. Each booth also has several doors. One is the entrance to the booth. The other two are on the side, if you had several people in your party you could combine booths and still all be together. (In CA, your booth is approx 3ft wide with small partitions, reminds me of voter booths) In the lobby of the range, they sell guns, accessories, clothing, etc. As well as comfy waiting areas. My mother wanted to make sure I mentioned just how comfy she was being the "Grandma" at a gun range. She would join us in the booth for awhile until she couldn't sit on the stool anymore then head back to the lobby. My only issue and this is just me and my crazy, but they need to work on the cleanliness of their restrooms. As mentioned above, we were there three days in a row and I swear the ladies restroom in the 25 yard restroom was never cleaned. I could tell by the toilet paper roll never being replaced and the new roll still where I left it, the general appearance of the toilet seat and the overflowing trash. Maybe this is a Utah thing but there were no toilet seat covers either. Despite the restroom thing I still give TNT 5 stars for our overall experience. We need to plan more trips to your facility. And please thank all of your staff who helped us this weekend. We truly appreciated everything. read more

This is a first class facility, and one of the few with both separate walled shooting lanes, as well as a long-distance set of tunnels in the basement. Everybody is extremely nice and courteous, to get you in the lanes quickly. Great to have a cheese burger place attached to it if you have to wait for a Lane. as far as the stocking of weapons for sale or for rent, that would probably be my only ding with a limited selection. read more
