Wilde Arrow Archery totally helped me out. I walked into Wilde Arrow with pretty much zero archery experience. I live in Hawaii and was visiting Utah on a business trip. Before coming to Utah, I visited my local shop in Hawaii and the owner told me my draw length was 32.5" and that he didn't have anything in his shop that would fit me. The Hawaii shop allowed me to shoot a couple bows but they did not bother to adjust the draw length past 29". I left my local shop frustrated because they were the only archery store on the island and I still had hundreds of questions. I came into Wilde Arrow on a Friday evening and asked for help determining my draw length. I gave them a full disclosure that I had almost no experience and I was from out of state. They were happy to help me! They sized me at 31" draw and set up several bows for me to try out. It was incredibly helpful to test out bows that were set up for my draw length. Believing that my draw length was 32.5" limited the bows I could even consider while doing my online research. But since Wilde Arrow helped me confirm my correct draw length is 31", it opened the door to many different bow options. Brandon worked with me one-on-one for two hours, let me shoot different bows, walked me though all the accessories, and answered all of my questions. Shooting different bows side-by-side really helped me narrow down which bow felt the best to me and which bow I wanted to get. I did not feel intimidated or pressured to make decisions. I was allowed to come up with my own conclusions of what felt good and what worked for me. This level of service that was provided even though they knew I might not be a potential customer (being that I was from out of state). I left Wilde Arrow Archery that night impressed at the staffs' knowledge, patience, and overall helpfulness. Based on my experience with my local archery shop back home, I wasn't confident in having the Hawaii shop set up my future bow. I had a couple extra days in Utah before going home so I came back to Wilde Arrow the very next day. I decided that if I was going to get a bow, I wanted Wilde Arrow to set up everything correctly. Brandon was working again and I told him I would like to buy a bow and take it with me back to Hawaii. I picked the bow, rest, sights, and quiver. He took everything into the back room and started putting everything together. I also picked out a release and a hard case for travel. The staff helped me choose a dozen arrows to get started. They had me shooting in the range with my new bow in a couple hours. I was grateful for the little coaching lessons on my form and technique. Brandon was extremely helpful getting everything on my bow set up correctly so I would be able to hit the ground running when I get back to Hawaii. I wish I had access to this level of customer service at an archery shop back home. I believe Wilde Arrow went out of their way to help me out in my unique situation. I walked into their shop confused and intimidated. I left with confidence and a brand-new Mathews VXR. I bought the bow on a Saturday and the store was busy. It looked like some people had to wait for a while to get serviced, but the staff were proactively communicating and reaching out to the waiting customers. Overall, Wilde Arrow Archery gets 5/5 from me. At the end of the day, their customer service and expertise earned them a sale. I hope I get to stop by the shop on future trips to Utah. read more

the folks at Wild Arrow are great at what they do. I am just a regular guy off the street and they took incredible care to get me what I needed. I did not go in and buy a whole new set up or spend a bunch of money, but they still took the time to work with me to get me what I needed to be shooting better. There were even items that they could have up-sold me on but they didn't in order to get me what I really needed. Bought a starter bow and it wasn't set up right from a previous place. so my boyfriend and I took it in tonight before they closed and they were SUPER helpful. We both bought a drop away arrow rest and the guy was super helpful saying things that he did and didn't like from each one. Definitely worth the money and wait. If your not on the "in crowd" list, own hoyt, or have a hunting channel your not a priority. I've spent a lot of money here and dont think I'll spend anymore. They wanted me to leave my bow for a week (post season) to do something that could be done in 5 min on a bow press. (While they played on their phones as if they had nothing to do). Went in 6/3/2016 bought two Hoyt bows fully loaded and spent a rediculous amount of money. They said the set up would definitely be done by 6/4/2016. Came in after they called our order was done. Only one was done and the other was forgotten. Then the guy said it would take 1 to 2 weeks to finish now. Maybe this would have been understandable if the child behold the counter dealing with me would have cared about my business at all or offered any explanation for the situation. Even the other guy that had to come help do my return didn't care why I was there or why the return was happening. Just a "here's your money back and don't let the door hit you on the way out" attitude. I will never shop there again and will share this experience with all my hunting friends. read more

If you're looking for an awesome archery pro shop with experienced, friendly and knowledgeable experts, then you've found the best place!! I've been working in customer service for over 19 years and I can tell you that you will be hard pressed to find a more friendly group of guys than those at Wilde Arrow. Jeremiah, Brandon, Dillion, and all of the guys there are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and will go out of their way to make sure that you're taken care of when you come in to the store. If you just want to come in and hang out for a minute and talk archery, or hunting, they'll be happy to share their experiences with you as well as their expert advice. I've gone in the store when they were very slow, and when they were extremely busy, and someone has always shown up within a few minutes to help me and answer any questions I have. The really wonderful thing about this archery pro shop is that no matter whether you're a seasoned archery veteran or just found out what a compound bow is these guys treat ALL of their customers equally well. Wilde Arrow is well worth the drive from where ever you may be, so give them a try if you are into archery or are looking to get into it. read more

Here's the short of it: These guys are great; you won't find a better, more competent shop around. No pressure or pitches to force a sale, just good, honest people and good prices. I would recommend them to anyone. If you want to know more about my experience keep reading. I have been looking to get into archery for a few years now and recently made the move. I've been to quite a few shops around Utah and finally found what I was looking for both in a pro shop and bow. Unless you plan to tune your equipment yourself you'll need to rely on the pro shop for tuning and maintenance which is why the shop you choose is so important. The guys at Wilde Arrow Archery are great to work with and knowledgable about the brands they sell and others on the market. I mainly worked with Dillon and it was a great experience. There was no pressure to buy the best of the best, no bad mouthing of other brands or shops, no up-selling, no steering to a brand that may be the most profitable for them. I told them my level of experience, what specs I was looking for and the price point and they pulled bows at and below that for me to try and left the decision up to me. They were very helpful through the process and answered any questions I had with expert advice and personal opinions. I can't stress the no pressure aspect enough. If great service and knowledge aren't enough their prices are also comparable and sometimes better to other local and national shops and online retailers as well. Best of all, when buying a new bow, they give you a punch card for two free bow tuneups and 8 range passes where they'll help you with the setup and your form. Came in on a Friday and they were super busy. Needed a peep sight adjusment which means putting the bow on a press and twisting the string a couple times. The guy at the counter took my bow and asked a kid who was obviously busy building someone some new arrows to put it on the bow-press for him. The press was literally 3 feet behind him. This should have been my first clue. So, they're really busy, lots of folks coming in, using the range, getting new bows fit, etc... The guy behind the counter (chubby guy, beard) spends the next half hour telling all the people waiting about his great elk shots and why he's an expert on this and that. Meanwhile, I'm running out of time, so I get in line to get my bow back and head out. By the time I get up to the counter again, there's another employee, who's been checking folks out, helping people and running his butt off, ready to help. I tell him I'm short on time and need to get my bow. He turns around, adjusts the press, twists my sight, and literally (no joke) 15 seconds later, hands me my bow, fixed. Wilde Arrow, you need to make some personnel adjustments! That guy almost cost you a customer and I'm sure his behavior is eroding the rest of your staff's morale. Let him be a social butterfly somewhere else. read more

I have now purchased 3 bows from Wilde Arrow Archery, and there is no place else I would even consider. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and invested in getting me a set up that works for me. They have worked more on my form and my shooting ability than they have worked on my bows, they take the time if you ask for hel. They're not pushing in sells or on forcing you to conform to the way they shoot personally, but if you ask for help, they will take the time. Not only can you purchase the top of the line equipment from these guys, but thay also take the time, and sometimes significant time, to help customers use the equipment they buy better. I do not have a YouTube channel, I did not grow up with these boys, I am a below average archer looking to get better and these guys have always treated me like I was their best customer! Best bow shop in Northern Utah bar none. I went in a number of times prior to finally making my purchase since I was in the market for my first bow, and didn't want to make a bad decision. here's my 1 star review for Wilde Arrow Archery I've heard good things about the knowledge at this shop. so passing through a friend and i took a minute to check out the place, with cash in hand and an exact product in mind , we were greeted well from a person that was at the register, so the experience was good up until that point, we told him what we were looking for, he had to go back and verify the inventory with a supervisor. I never seen the person in the back. we could only hear them yell "NO". so i yelled back , can you order them ??? again we hear "NO" , no reason whatsoever. Not a "we don't stock that brand" , or "we have better choices available" or even an honest "they are too expensive for us to make any money on them" or even a lead to a store that may offer them. we never even seen the guy we were talking with ,through the wall. that is terrible customer service !!! so to the review above this one from mark P ( company friend ??? ) stating they" will go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of " - whoever was in the back yelling to me , didn't even get off their chair!!! we hung out for about 10 more minutes, hoping they would at least offer something comparable, or redeem themselves at all.... i wish i would have taken video of this experience by the way , i needed a particular brand of shaft - retails 150-160$ + and i would have prepaid up to 180-190$ (cash in hand) for them to order them for me - they could have placed an order , and called me when there , for a decent profit -- its not like we are not talking about a 2.99 peep or a discontinued 1977 vintage cam module that would take them hours to find with minimal margin - i will give them this , they were well stocked for an archery store in the off season, i had high hopes for Wilde Arrow Archery and hated to have to post bad reviews for Wilde Arrow Archery cause we really need a good archery shop around here read more

Wilde Arrow is the best of the best. The amount of archery knowledge that they have is impressive to say the least. They don't just shoot an arrow through paper and send you out the door. These guys are awesome. They have a loyal following with a nice 30 yard range and will spend the time to get you set up from top to bottom. After doing a lot of research, decided to get a Hoyt. Jeremiah worked with me as a beginner establishing all the core positions setting up my foundation to become a proficient shooter. They know bows. Fine tuning at delivery to instruction after the purchase. They did some minor adjustments at a follow up visit and let me use their range free of charge to site in my bow. These guys are top notch. Their competition does not hold a candle to their level of expertise and customer service. You might have to wait a few minutes to get service but that is because they really take the time to offer each customer the service they need. I would highly recommend Jeremiah and Wilde Arrow to anyone needing service, instruction or a new bow set up. These guys are the best in SLC period! read more
