Just had my semi annual HVAC service. The technician was Chris B and he was outstanding! He was very detailed in his review of all things that were checked. Yes I have been happy with Webb. But not today! My system is still under warranty. So why did my warranty repair cost over $2500? My career was in the service industry and we NEVER charged for parts shipping, under warranty, but Webb/ Trane does. Your crappy part broke and I pay for shipment to me and return of the broken one. Also a second opinion on repairs might be prudent. My initial problem seemed simple. A bad motor start capacitor. Then the technician needed to make sure the system was working properly. Then the BAD NEWS came. A refrigeration leak! Hmmmm. My neighbor was told he needed work on his HVAC system, by Webb, he called another company, for a second opinion, and they said all was okay. Working fine 6 years later. He's not with Webb anymore. I don't know who to trust anymore these days! The days of the good old trust are gone! As the CIA SAYS "TRUST BUT VERIFIY" I am very lucky to be able to afford this repair but everyone is nibbling away at my retiree fixed income. read more

Have purchased several complete systems from Webb since 2010, have used Webb for HVAC repair, and am currently enrolled in their annual home service agreement (for the past 10 years). Totally satisfied not only with the quality of service, but the professional, cheerful, courteous technicians. Would not use any other HVAC business. read more

Ive been debating on this review for a year. I will relay the facts of my encounter with Webb. So about this time last year (Nov 2021) i contacted Webb to service my oil furnace. At the time, they were running a heating/cooling service special for about $225. I purchased it. A young man came out and went into the basement to look at the furnace. I expected a new nozzle, maybe a filter as the furnace I have is, one of the best if not THE best oil furnaces you can buy. He came up with pictures of what I remember him calling the heat transfer chamber. There was so soot (ash) in the picture and he said it needed to be cleaned for the furnace to function properly. He further stated that he could not do it but that Webb had recently purchased a company that specializes in cleaning furnaces for approximately $375. You know how you get an instant feeling sometimes that something isn't right? Well, that feeling hit me like a bolt of lightning. I was polite and took the number of their new company and I immediately called another heating company and had them come out. I wanted a second opinion before I shelled out $375. Turns out the ash was approximately 2 inches deep in a 24-inch deep chamber. He told me IN NO WAY did this need to be cleaned out for the furnace to work properly, much less charging someone $375 to do it. He got a vacuum, sucked out the ash and the whole second opinion cost me $90 with NO CHARGE for ash removal. It pays to follow your instincts. If something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't. I was so upset at this that I deliberately did not schedule the second half of my package deal for Webb to service my heat pump for summer. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Let's just say trust is earned, not blindly given. So I will leave this here for you to make of it what you will. I will NOT be calling Webb for anything. read more

Webb has always took great care of our home needs. They are prompt on their schedule and send us a picture of the tech prior to arrival. The work was done in a timely manner and any problems with our system was shown and explained prior to any work being done. The costs are very fair. I called their office yesterday and sweet Courtney arranged a technician named Michael D to come out and address a gas leak coming from a regulator. He stayed as late as he had to in our cold crawl space to make sure we had heat and we would give him 10 stars if we were able to! They were all so courteous, professional and knowledgeable and I will definitely recommend Webb to others! read more

We had our downstairs A/C replaced with a high efficiency unit. After the first week, the A/C quit working. The technician came out and replaced a part. We were told that this was normal/to be expected on new systems. A week later, we started hearing a very loud "whining" type noise. When looking in the crawl space, we noticed an unusually high amount of condensation. A different technician came out to address the issues. In the end, he said the condensation was not "their issue" and to not call back about the condensation. The technician said this was common in "older" homes when purchasing a high efficiency system and that the only fix is to have the crawl space sealed off. He informed us that he adjusted the system so that it would not be blowing as much cold air (and would be less efficient). We talked to the salesman about this and were told that we would get to the bottom of this issue. The salesman said that he would call back to set up an appointment to come out with their operations manager to address the issue. It has been over a month and no one has contacted us about this. So, in the end, we paid for a high efficiency system that is not running as such. In addition we are left with having to pay over $10,000 to have our crawl space sealed off. If it is known that "older" homes cannot support high efficiency systems as the one we were sold, why were we not informed of this? We spent thousands of dollars for a system that we did not need.
