He absolutely has a problem with women being in charge. I work a 40 hour job and my wife doesnt so we decided that she would act as the GC. So she is in charge. Well he does not like that at all. Then his feathers got even more out of shape when we decided to buy/install a generator. Mind you a generator brand that he does not sell. That set him off. Then came the issues with install. slow as molasses on a cold day. job could have been wrapped up in about 2 weeks but took almost 2 months. Only the quote was in writing. Make sure you get Flash to agree to ALL DRYWALL repair if needed. Almost every room in our house there was drywall damage. When we asked him about fixing it and what his process was he simply said he does NOT repair any drywall that they damage. NONE. Well to say the least that was the end of his service. We went round and round with text after text and at the end of the day decided to pay for the repairs. Well it was too late we had already gotten our drywallers scheduled for the next morning and we decided to just absorb the cost and be done with it. Well that set him off even more saying he was willing to pay and or repair the drywall. It had been a day or two since we first brought it to his attention so we felt he had ample time and opportunity to reverse his decision and offer to fix what his crew just messed up. 4 or 5 recessed lights that the hole were no where near where they were supposed to be. One of the holes was even too large with the worker admitting to my wife that he grabbed the wrong size! At the time we actually laughed it off thinking that that "mistake" would certainly be rectified. NOPE. Ive tried to keep this light hearted for my own sanity tho im sure it will not seem that way. All in all id give 2 stars. Flash Electric came to us as a recommendation though i absolutely could not in good conscience recommend further. This review had nothing to do with cost of this particular project. That will stay with us. Communication and the lack thereof due to inability to work with a woman. And the absolute flat out refusal to pay for repairs that his company were 100% responsible for.

The last time they were here they spent time and really listened to me about noise I was hearing in the lights in my living room. We worked together and figured out the issue that I've been living with for around 6 years. Highly recommended!

The technicians did not finish the work and told me they would be back but never bothered to return. When I called the service manager I was told I would have to wait because I was a "work in" even though I booked in advance for work that was never finished. The service manager is slow to return phone calls, if you are lucky enough to get a return call at all. The technicians that did the work left an electrical wire hanging from my ceiling and broke a light fixture but never bothered to follow up about cleaning up the mess.

They had to cut a 4" hole in the sheetrock to bend the cable down the wall, which was easily repaired. They protected the island and countertop. The kept the work site tidy. They were friendly, courteous, and very competent. I wish I could remember the electrician's name as he is a very competent and an impressive young man. The price was fair and I am very pleased with the installation. I had several competitors bid on the job, two were rude, two were greedy, and another just downright disrespectful. I was afraid of what the cost was going to be but it turned out to be just what I was quoted. My wife spoke with the office to arrange payment and she commented how professional the staff were. I finally called him at the end of the day and he said he would have to reschedule for Wednesday of the following week. Rick never showed, never called! I called/left a message on the business number to speak to the "owner/scheduler" and still have not received a return phone call to discuss my dissatisfaction with Rick. I purposely waited this long to write this review, in hopes I would get a return call. I DO NOT recommend anyone use this business! Find another electrician to use.

Recently, I had a technician out on a Sunday because my system wasn't cooling. He informed me that the compressor was "shot" and that I needed a new one. He followed up the next day with an almost $6000 quote for the compressor. I asked him for the part number. The part is 1500-1800 online. Aspire wanted to charge me $4000 for installation and refrigerant. I did ask them to send a comfort consultant to give me a price on a new unit so that I could weigh my options which they did with urgency. I had a second opinion on the compressor from another company. That technician showed me where there is nothing wrong with the compressor. It needed some refrigerant. Aspire is either incompetent with the repair or they were jacking the price up in order to sell me a new unit. I do not recommend this company.

When the city inspector came out to sign off on the permit, I told him who installed it and he said he has never had any issues with Nathan's work and signed it off with no further review. Today, Nathan came back out and installed a ceiling fan in my living room. I have installed fans before, but have a vaulted ceiling and felt it needed a professional rather than a DYI installation. Once again, Nathan impressed me with his professionalism and attention to detail. I don't like working with electrical...I will do the occasional light install and such but I would rather hire a professional to do the more complicated jobs.
