I called to try to have someone come out here. She was too busy to take my name and number down. "I'm in the middle of something." O.k...bye

They were responsive, professional, and understanding, especially since we'd let them know that numerous other contractors had been unable to find the source of the leak. Not only did they find it, they gave us part of our home back with beautiful new roof decking. We had worked with them previously on a smaller project (repairing a finished porch), and when issues arose with that recently they were incredibly helpful in working with us, including in conversations about the cost for additional and do-over repairs. The team is super-communicative, courteous, and diligent. They send frequent updates, including photos, when they're working and reach out whenever they have a question (e.g. about the color of materials, etc). The prices are reasonable and reflect the very high quality of their work. I am so glad I chose CRS and would do so again in the future without hesitation.

It looks like they used leftover shingles from a previous job instead of purchasing new ones that matched. My main issue was a leaking valley and a leaking bedroom ceiling. They "repaired" it very poorly, despite charging me $4,050. I wouldn't be surprised if it starts leaking again soon, considering the exposed nails and misplaced shingles. ( they did come to lay the shingles better by leaving EXPOSED nails which will soon cause a leak and didnt want to change the shingles to color match ) I also paid them $500 to seal my roof hatch, which I understood was a temporary fix--but that repair didn't even last a month before leaking again. When I called them, they quoted me $1,500 to remove the hatch and said they would credit the $550 toward that job. Two weeks later, I followed up by email, and the price suddenly jumped to $3,500. Their final email said, "You want to play games--let's go!" What does that even mean? Is he threatening to come to my home and start a fight? I'm reporting this message to the police in case they attempt anything. Do not trust this company. - they quote you using a drone without actually getting up and doing a better job finding the problem

The original sellers who promised to fix the roof leak used a general roofer who "fixed" the roof. Couple month later, we found mold and active leaks. Todco stood out with quick responses, cheapest quote, and great communication. Although they're under new management, the same experienced crew is still there. Paul, the foreman, explained everything clearly and did excellent work. They fixed the issue in three days and I've already booked them for more repairs. If you have a tile roof, I highly recommend Todco--they know their stuff and do it right. Long Version Todco doesn't have any recent comprehensive review, so I am going to chime in a long version. We recently moved into a historic district, where our 1920s home still has its original clay tile roof. When we bought the house, we noticed water damage in our master closet and asked the sellers to have the roof repaired. Unfortunately, they used a crappy general roofer who clearly had no experience with tile roofs. We thought the issue was resolved--our first big mistake. Three months later, we finally had a closet company come to fix our master closet. When they removed the damaged closet, we discovered a wet ceiling and significant mold growth. After some heavy rain, water was literally dripping from the ceiling. I reached out to the original roofer, who shrugged it off and said, "Tile roofs are tricky. You can't really find the leaks. You fix what looks broken--you just need a whole new roof." That didn't sit right with me, so I turned to our neighborhood group and learned that tile roofs require specialists. I contacted three companies recommended by neighbors, including Todco. Every single one gave me the same answer: I didn't need a new roof. The issue was likely due to poor flashing around the chimney and improperly installed tiles. Basically, the seller's roofer didn't fix anything and had no idea what he was doing. Many neighbors vouched for Todco, so I reached out. Haris responded quickly and was incredibly personable. He made me feel like fixing our roof was a top priority. He sent an estimator out right away, and their quote was the cheapest of the three. All the glowing neighborhood reviews were about the owner, Todd but I found out Haris is the new owner/manager (not sure which but was informed Todd has taken a step back but still involved). I couldn't find any reviews about the new management and everyone I reached out to was with prior management. I was hesitant to sign, so I reached out to a neighbor, who contacted Todd for me. I even texted Todd directly. Shortly after, Haris called me to explain the transition and assured me the same experienced crew--Paul and Candelario--was still with them. That gave me the confidence to move forward. And I'm so glad I did. Paul, the foreman, was fantastic. He showed me the poor design of the flashing and the patch that gave out in the flashing. He walked me through the improvements they'd be making, and how the new flashing design was much more effective. The crew worked hard, kept me updated throughout the process, and completed the job in three days. They replaced the chimney flashing, installed new ice and rain shields, and re-tiled the affected area with care and precision. The work was excellent, and the crew was a pleasure to have around. Haris continued to follow up and support us throughout the process. I was so impressed that I've already booked Todco for a second job--to replace broken tiles elsewhere on the roof. I highly recommend Todco. They know tile roofs, and they take pride in doing things the right way. If you have a home with a roof, these are the people to call.

New copper flashing needed to be installed around the chimney. Paul from Todco repaired it all. He also painted some wood trim on the roof that could only be reached by hooking a ladder over the slates, in a place a normal painter could not reach without stepping on and probably breaking slates. Paul was the foreman on this job. I can't say more about how lucky I was to have Paul work for me. He searched for slates which needed to be repaired and repaired them all beautifully. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and what was not needed to be done and WHY. When I need roofing repairs done again in the future, I would hire Todco again in an instant. True professionals. And of course their cost was very reasonable and per their original quote. Thank you Todco, Mike D.

Here's how they stood out: They had excellent communication. From Angelo's estimate all the way to passing inspection, they were on top of their game. The estimate had every combination of options listed with exactly what they were going to do and photos of the planned work. We were assigned a field supervisor (Justin, I believe?) who would come out on the same day to inspect any issues we brought up. Our contact with the office via Cindy and Anthony was also superb and always timely. The work was done swiftly and well. The roofers were done before I got back from work. Siding and gutters are more involved, but they did excellent there as well and Roman et al. were excellent to work with, took feedback very well (see communication above), and were very hard and efficient workers. All in all, we were done with our project long before other houses in the same subdivision who had all signed up with doorknocker companies, and they delivered a high level of quality. To be clear, their estimate was slightly higher (my gut says 10% higher, but it's been a while since I reviewed the proposals) than some other offers we received, but for the work that we were doing, level of customization, and communication, we wouldn't make a different choice. Absolutely a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Siding and Windows Group!

I'm usually not one to spend time getting a bunch of quotes and just rely on Yelp reviews to make a purchasing decision, but this was pricey enough purchase that i figured I should do my due diligence.' Siding & Windows Group was one of the 4 companies I had come out for a quote. We ended up with them for a few reasons: - Their quote was competitive - They were able to spray paint the interior trim with our existing paint color - They were able to match the exterior trim as closely as possible to our windows outside - Anthony at Siding & Windows Group was very responsive We placed the order on August 22nd, which is my bday. I can't say new doors was what i wanted for my bday, but i guess this is being a homeowner in your 40s. The new doors weren't installed until November 6th and we just hoped for no big storms and got lucky. Anthony checked in a few times on when they'd be installed and pushed it back a few days due to other projects. The actual installation took about a day, which wasn't too bad. A week later they came to spray paint, which honestly seemed like a much bigger project than installing the doors. That took 2 days and went smoothly, although there was a little confusion about them not knowing what color to paint, etc. It turned out beautifully and while the doors look very similar to our old doors I like the look of these even better. The exterior finish isn't a perfect match, but i think a big part of that is our old paint on our windows as faded. One day we'll touch it all up, but for now we're looking forward to a break in paying for anything for the house. I learned there are a lot of companies in the area for new windows/doors, but we were satisfied with this one and would use them again.
