I had already made a claim with my insurance company (name intentionally withheld). With the estimate in hand, we hired Benjamin Brothers to complete the work and be our representative with our insurance company. I didn't want the headache and they knew what to do. As typical with insurance claims adjusters, they tried to nickel and dime the claim and Lee and Cody fought back to get the repair covered and each piece of damage compensated. Due to the back-and-forth, the job was delayed (weather/seasons) and the insurance tried to not pay the depreciation funds. We fought back again and the funds were finally released. The work was done professionally and when there was a slight issue with the repair, they corrected it immediately. They were responsive to our e-mails and phone calls and helped us through the dealing with our insurance company.

Our experience with Weatherguard was not pleasant. We had a multitude of problems. The first…read morebeing, when "Bill" came to our home (after "Tom" who was EXCELLENT but we were advised he had relocated to Minnesota). We showed him a house around the corner. We loved their siding and "Bill" told us it was "X" and we could get it. Great. Unfortunately, the delivery of the siding coincided with the installers arriving within minutes of each other and there was no turning back when the delivery person presented the WRONG siding. It is NOT the siding that we requested. Secondly, the install went terrible. It was one of the hottest days. We have two small children and a new puppy and the installers "broke" the air conditioning. 4 hours later, a repairman provided by Weatherguard showed up and fixed the problem created by your installers. LONG, HOT day. Thirdly, the exterior water meter was not uninstalled and reinstalled properly. This required my husband to miss a day of work for the village to come and repair. Lastly, and most disturbing was the last of caulk job. We spent most of the fall chasing around the mice inside our home that were able to move in because of of the installers poor workmanship. This required us to throw away more than $100 in groceries and spend an additional $100 on mouse traps. YUCK. Best advice - DON'T use them.

It's tuesday 10/8 8am i finally texted him again and all i got were excuses.

Peter (the owner) worked extensively with my insurance company to make sure nothing was overlooked during and after the inspection. He was very easy to reach during the whole process. The actual roof installation was impeccably done by his team, with very nice looking flashing and ridge caps. Besides the roof, Peter examined my attic to check for insulation and moisture issues. He found several areas lacking insulation thanks to his thermal camera and he suggested insulation and venting options that fit my budget. I went ahead with his recommendations and this was now the first summer where our A/C didn't kick in on a moderately warm day! You won't find many contractors who are this passionate about their trade. Highly recommended!

First we started with asking Yelp for help to find roofing contractors for a residential roof…read morerepair. We had moss growing on part of our roof where the sun did not shine most of the year. The moss was forcing some of our shingles to buckle. We also inherited two large areas that were 'repaired' at some point in the past, and those repairs were near failure. Fast forward a bit and we received four estimates for a roof replacement/ updated roof system from different contractors. UV Exteriors' estimate was the most competitively priced by far. We decided to have both the roof on our house and our garage replaced. Overall the sales process was very informative and helpful to us making a decision on our roof; we liked the salespeople from UV Exteriors. The shingles that we had on our roof were apparently called 3-tab shingles and all of the estimating companies stated that they either don't install them or manufacturers no longer make them. So we opted for an upgraded shingle with relief. Our new shingles have copper imbedded in them which prevents the growth of moss. The shingles also have a 50-year warranty, which is a big plus. The UV Exteriors crew arrived sometime before 8am, and they got to work right away. A complete tear-off, and a new installation took a single day by the crew. The crew was kind! Most importantly the installation was wonderfully done AND the mess that a roof tear-off creates was completely managed by the crew. We have not found a single errant shingle, nail, piece of plastic or other debris in our yard or our neighbor's yard. The roofing crew did an amazing job! We appreciate the great job that UV Exteriors did by installing our new roof system, and we highly recommend this roofing company to you!
