Located downtown, the atmosphere is simple but cute. Staff were super friendly, unfortunately my Highlander's Grog latte tasted like black coffee (which is probably what it was) and it was so hot I couldn't hold it or drink it until 15 minutes later. Mistakes happen so I'm being generous and giving this place three stars since the staff were so friendly.

Harvest Blend soup - butternut squash, carrot, ginger and some other yumminess! I loved it - perfect blend of sweet and savory!

Delicious food with a wide variety of options for breakfast and lunch! Really enjoyed the tea selection too. We got the black tea with Apple and hibiscus (so tasty!) and the Golden Milk with ginger, turmeric, and pepper (that had quite a kick). Great service too! Loved this place!

Pumpkin pecan flavored cold brew with coconut milk + a slice of their house made coffee cake

I stopped in this charming local coffee shop while in town for friend's wedding. The staff is very friendly and helpful when making suggestions! I highly recommend sitting for a while, enjoying a piece of their amazing, homemade coffee cake and delicious pumpkin pecan flavored cold brew! I love what a great impact this coffee shop is making in the community with any and all extra proceeds. Kudos to We Serve. Coffee!

After getting punched in the face with some physical labor. I deserved... no, needed an iced coffee to get my mind right. Since I'm rarely in Findlay I did a quick Yelp search and found this gem. The smell of tasty food greeted me when I walked in as well as the young lady working the counter. While I just really needed the coffee I also ended up buying some fresh strawberries. I enjoyed the fact that they weren't covered in sugar. That'll give them an extra star right there. The other reviews I read say that the profits from here go to local and global charities. This was reflected by the two tip jars. One for the staff the other for the cause. I can't recommend this place enough and I'll be refueling there the next time I swing through.

The outside looks like something from a 70s sitcom set…read more. The inside is dated, but I love the vibe! It was packed on a Saturday at 10:30 in the morning. But they move fast! We were sat in under two minutes, and had our food in less than 10. This place runs like a well-oiled machine. Some of the waitresses here had to be at least 60 to 70 years old, and it looked like they came with the building. I'm not saying that as a bad thing. Is it really a good diner if at least one of the waitress's hands don't shake a little as she sits down your plate? The portions are enormous... The pancakes are the size of a plate. We watched the food come out and everything looks really good. Our waitress was fast and friendly, can't ask for anything better. It was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time.p

We were in town for BGSU homecoming. Stayed in Findlay. We decided to try the Pilgrim Family…read moreRestaurant. The atmosphere is retro and the place feels like it's been there since the 70's. We ordered Herbie's Mess, Tater tot casserole, and #3 Breakfast (eggs, potatoes, sausage and toast). The Tater Tot casserole received rave reviews, the general breakfast was felt to be average. Herbie's Mess was good, but lacked seasoning. Once salt/pepper was added, It was greatly improved. If you're looking for a good place to eat, try Pilgrims. The food was old fashioned diner style. The eggs and potatoes are real. But the sausage was lacking quality

This one is good for its price point (around $100/nt for my stay). I'm tempted to "meehhhhhhh" it…read morebut I won't, I'm going to compare it to others in its class. I've also stayed in the TownPlace Suites in Findlay, the sister Marriott budget that's actually got suites. This location has hotel rooms. My mini fridge is the mini-est you can get without being a 6 pack electric cooler; barely fits a standard styrofoam takeout box. This isn't an impressive location for a Fairfield, nor is it a good location. It's on the corner of a busy 5-lane highway, next to the Kroger/Walmart and surrounded by a Honda dealership. The visual clutter and distraction of the dealership decor (big, tall tinsel at the time of my visit) made it visually challenging to figure out the parking lot entry on the first approach. Getting back out to the main highway is challenging, not super straightforward; either (1) you take a left out of parking and contend with Kroger patrons (both turning in and turning out) in your attempt to turn left onto the artery street less 100 yards from the traffic light, or (2) to turn right onto the main highway you go right out of parking into what feels like an alley, behind some buildings, and try to remember to turn just after the building instead of going too far and getting trapped in that parking lot. Neither option is a good one. The run-on sentence was making a point, and it was worth it. Inside: similar to the local TownPlace, not super inviting. There's no pull through entrance. You'll need to park in a space and walk in. It's rather dark inside, an effect of both the lack of lighting and a dark blue camo looking carpet. If poor lighting is a problem for you it's probably worth looking at another hotel (I don't recall the TownPlace being dark, but it's been a couple months). The room is basic and functional. There's an iron, full size ironing board, hair dryer. Little modular closet is fine for a week. There is a standalone 2-drawer bench that can - and should - double as a luggage rack since there's not one in the room. The bed is foam and soft, so check other places for spring mattresses if you need something firm. I use a super slim pillow and one of the 4 on my king bed was suitable. They are all 4 different so there should be something for everyone. Already mentioned the fridge is the teeniest size. Microwave is comparably small. Coffee machine is tiny with lots of single use plastic trash involved, so if you actually drink coffee maybe head downstairs or to a coffee shop instead (there's a breakfast/brunch place in the building just east of Fairfield, about 50 steps away, opens at 7).

This is a very well run hotel in a great location in Findlay. Walking distance to several…read morerestaurants and stores. Easy to locate at a major intersection. The building is older, but was recently completely remodeled and looks great. The rooms are nicely done and very clean. They are also very quiet, thanks to the obvious solid construction years ago. The sink area is a bit small, but that's a minor thing. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great and the dining room nicely done. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay if you're in the area.
