Most confusing experience at a breakfast spot ever. We walked in and there were a couple parties ahead of us and behind us, the hostess would ask how many people were in a party, leave to go bus the table, seat the party, and take their drink orders, before returning to the hostess stand to seat the next party. Just seems like a pretty inefficient way of doing things, especially since it was already super backed up with parties trying to be seated. In fact, it was so backed up, a woman standing incredibly close to us was blowing her nose directly in our ear, which was just gross. Our hashbrowns were incredibly inconsistently cooked, parts were crispy, other parts were basically raw taters. My eggs Benedict yolks were cooked completely through. My boyfriend asked for his eggs over medium and his yolks were super runny. The chorizo scramble basically had no chorizo in it. There must be a hot sauce shortage because we asked for hot sauce, expecting a bottle, and got a tiny sauce container. My friend had waffles with bananas & caramel which she said was delicious. There is public parking behind the building . 2 hr limit so I got a $10. Parking ticket. Nice place for breakfast, good selection on the menu. Almost too many selections to make a good decision. However, I think I could try everything once lol. That being said I will be back it's good to find a chain breakfast spot that actually serves good food. The hostess and the waitress were both very accommodating and we're very prompt in getting our coffee and our food. I came here with my folks, my brother and his wife and her folks on Mother's day for brunch. We lucked out at the time we came because we just beat the church going crowd. We had a minor wait because of the size of party we were but nothing that would make you want to leave. We all ordered something to drink and ordered individual items off the menu. The menu has little bit of everything though not a lot of gluten free options. I ordered the item that I typically do of the Westgate skillet. It came out just right. Though having the option to have something with bread in it would be so nice. I ordered hot chocolate and definitely enjoyed my one cup of it. The only people in the party that got refills were the water drinking people and the coffee drinking people. Our waitress came by after we had paid and was like can I get you anything to go. That comment, the lack of gluten free baked goods and the lack of getting the option for a refill on hot chocolate or orange juice are my reasons for the downgrade in stars. One of the biggest and busiest restaurants that I saw when visiting Findlay. There were a good amount of employees serving tables, and the staff was friendly. There fortunately wasnt a wait, however both the food and getting the check took a very long time. This was by far the weakest point of the meal, and would not recommend coming here if you are on a somewhat tight schedule. The food was very good however. The breakfast tacos I ordered have very nice flavors to them, and the salsa and sour cream brought the whole dish together. Nice tender meat and eggs included in the tacos. I ordered two eggs on the side as well, and these were cooked perfectly. The hash browns had a perfect crispiness to them as well. The waiter was very nice about them taking a long time, but it was a bit frustrating. Overall, great food, very bad service. The staff was friendly, but they need to change something in their model if they want to effectively service the amount of customers they have (in my opinion). read more

The quality of the food is uneven. You might get your hash browns perfectly crisp and tasty one time and pale and soggy the next. I could have asked for half the cheese and I still would have probably had to scrape some off the top. The awesome avocado omelette was also done very nicely (again, heavy on the cheese). Once seated, the waitress was pleasant enough. It's a good thing they give you a pot of coffee and carafe of water, otherwise you would probably always be in need. My boyfriend's food was good but my hash browns were half under cooked and half over cooked. My toast was burnt. I would never send toast out that looked like that considering how cheap and easy it is to redo. My omelet was very good. I went my entire meal without getting a refill. Then sat another 8 minutes waiting for my waitress to come back. She returned and said she would get my check, which again took another 8-10 minutes. All said and done it took me well over an hour for a meal that took about 10 minutes to be served.
