WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The attached photos is how this salon MADE me walk out like! Aaron was my nail tech, he WILL single handily put this salon out of business! As soon as I sat down I showed him a pic of what I wanted on my phone. He put me in soaking solution to remove my current acrylic. He walked to the back and left me soaking there for at least 20mins. He came back to the front with an attitude and said "I'm going to get you out of the solution and you need to leave, you're a waist of my time!" I was so confused and asked what do you mean? He said "you don't know what you want, your a waste of my time! You need to leave or I will have the cops remove you!" Mind you, I SHOWED HIM WHAT I WANTED AS SOON AS I SAT DOWN! Holy cannoli, Tuan did such a fire job doing my nails. I needed a last minute full set of acrylic and Brian was able to squeeze me in well! They were so cool, I love the chill vibe they had going. Tuan was so easy to talk to and he listened to me go on and on about the crazy reason why I needed a last minute nail appointment. This chop shop is the reason I found a home nail tech. and I will NEVER go back here.The entire place was just....grimey. I called to book an appointment and the person hung up on me and texted me, and when I didn't respond within 5 mins they texted me again saying to "hurry up because other people want this spot". Ok, so you're busy, whatever I get it. I make the appointment, when I arrive I'm told to just sit down in any open chair in the salon, then I wait for 30 mins to be seen. Their website says they do soak offs (which I also asked for over the phone) but the woman who started to help me began by putting a fake nail under my acrylic to rip off the old nails. She kept looking at me and asking if I was okay even though she was clearly hurting me. At this point I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt because maybe the front guy didn't communicate with her properly. I ended up sitting there for four hours to get a set that I didn't even want. She wouldn't listen to me when I said coffin shaped and she gave me square shape, and then she left them so long even though I asked for medium length. She charged me $100 for a length I didn't even want because she wouldn't listen to me when I kept asking her to change it. The girl next to me was having the exact same issue with her nail tech, but there was obviously a language barrier with the male technician. Overall, this place is not organized, not welcoming, and they don't listen to their customers at all. Saw the beautiful pictures of nails and CALLED to make an appointment. No one answered the phone for 2 days. Saw the messaging feature on yelp and decided I'd ask how to make an appointment. The owner asked for a picture of my current nails (ok no problem, even though I've NEVER heard of that ever and have had acrylic nails for 18 years!) Moral of the story is, I think they have an approval process for scheduling nail appointments like it's an opening at a country club; which I am a member of, they are happy to take my money. They ask you what you want and try their best to do it for you. Every time I've gone , they have succeeded. I was potentially going to give this place 3 stars but having Nora doing my pedicure allowed me to give it a higher rating. I had scheduled an appointment at 10am through Yelp for both a set of coffin nails, and also a pedicure. I got there at 9:56 am just because I assumed they weren't entirely open yet but as I was the first one to go into the salon, I was the last to get taken by a nail specialist after having 7 women go ahead of me. I was trying to stay calm because I figured I am sure the owner sees me. I got called by 10:18am. Nails turned out good, and I was happy with them. When I asked if I needed to sit on the spa chair for my pedicure, they seemed to be confused. Asked me if I made an appointment and which I honestly took that as if my appointment was accidentally not placed on the calendar. Being as busy as I am I can see that happening. The amazing turn around was my pedicure experience!!!! Nora was all smiles, and positive attitude and also carried a conversation. Even more important gave me an amazing pedicure! I also let her know that I appreciated her positivity and making my morning experience even better. So in short, they do amazing nails!!! Every time I call they never answer goes straight to voicemail. Previous times when I've been there in afternoon when the phone rings they sent it to voicemail! They ask for text message the text response is at least the only decent thing if u can say so. I will text them during their early business hours not even a late time and I won't get a response til late at night past 10pm. When I arrive for my appointment they seem to have their preferred clients that when I get there for my appointment they seem to not understand that I made an appointment. What was the point in making an appointment??? Sooo upset. I STILL had to wait almost half an hr and when I get seen they put me with the same two people that have the least experience in the salon. Not even sure if some of them have a license to do nails because this isn't the first time they mess up my nails. They should all definitely get checked because all of their other popular nail techs apparently are always booked or don't take NEW CLIENTS. I hate leaving with my nails all f'd up. It sucks! I finished my gel manicure and sat around in the chair 10 minutes after washing my hands from my manicure and they just look at me wondering what I'm waiting for when I tell them I'm there for a mani AND pedi from the beginning. After waiting for them to prepare for my pedicure I finally got a barely decent pedicure. My hand cuticles were left swollen and bleeding , a lot of skin was still left and the gel polish was over my skin that when I tried to take it off , it started peeling off the work that they barely did. Picture was taken after washing the blood off my cuticles multiple times. Every time I speak to the manager and let him know the situation he just shrugs it off and walks away. Price is stupid high for horrible work. HORRIBLE horrible experience the more and more I've gone but I'm so fed up with it they never put me with someone that knows what they're doing. WASTED TIME. WASTED MONEY. Such a disappointment... I can only understand they have their five stars for some reviews because it's their damn regulars giving those reviews and refuse to take new clients with the techs that know what they're doing. And she did such an amazing job and I really liked that she asked if I wanted another coat for the color I got because it was a little transparent. So I really appreciate that courtesy and also I hit my nail on the gel light thing you put your hands in and she asked if the nail polish was okay and fixed it! I really like that these people aren't like pretending they didn't see when you messed up your nail, like they understand accidents happen and are willing to do take care of it without making you feel like a bother. I tried calling the shop on Monday and realized it was already after 7 so I sent a message via yelp and to my surprised received a response within an hour! I spoke to Brian about my concerns because I had previously used hard gel instead of acrylic and via messages he was able to help answer all my questions and get me in for an appointment for 2 days out! I love everything about the place. The cleanliness, atmosphere, and excellent service. I can't even tell you how much I love my nails! Chloe spent her time reshaping and making them absolutely gorgeous. Trin did a great job on my toes too. They were very honest and didn't push me to add or do anything I didn't want to. I never write a yelp review, but I am lost for words on how bad this customer service is. My brothers girlfriend recommended me tot his place. I complimented her nails and she told me " omg no they look horrible up close I'm going back to get them re done. if you go just don't go to Kristen".. I told her, the line wasn't even not in the middle she brushed it off and told me she's doing another coat I let it go when she was done I liked at my nails and none of them were remotely even... I then told her " oh no I don't like them " & she sucked her teeth and said " you told me this after I was done" looks at the girl next to her and said " she wanted the lines to be perfect " EXCUSE ME!! Yes I did I'm paying for them I should love them.. i then said (trying to keep my cool) " no I didn't expect them to be perfect but they look ridiculous " and she looked at the girl next to her and said " do they look ridiculous " and the girl said nothing. She then told me " she's going to file the color down and I can go elsewhere if I don't like it " she told the guy I'm guessing in charge she wasn't going to finish he said nothing and so that was I did I got my ass up and left .. After surveying Yelp for a new nail salon, I was excited to come across We Nails. Online, their work looked impeccable, sadly the same can't be said in reality. I made an appointment for a fill and was helped without a wait. At the time, I felt the customer service was stale but that was something I could overlook as long as my nails were up to par. When I left the salon I loved the shape of my nails but felt they were too thin to last the standard two-weeks. Unfortunately​, I was right. Before the end of the day, TWO of my nails broke. Now, I'm not the most delicate​ person, but two of my nails should not break in less than 24-hours. I walked in the next morning to have them fixed. The owner asked if my original service was for a "full-set or fill?" I knew exactly where he was going, so I responded, "full-set." He said he couldn't fit me in, but scheduled me for the next day. By the next morning,​ more than half my nails were gone. No joke. My hands were a mess and completely unpresentable. When I came in for my appointment the next day the technician​ looked disgruntled. I knew he was upset that he had to do a complete full set, however I was just as upset that nearly all my nails broke within two days. The technician​ and the owner began speaking in a language foreign to me​when the owner walked over and asked AGAIN if it was a full-set or fill. I responded,​​ "why does it matter?" He said that his nails wouldn't break in a day. (But, they DID, sir. Regardless if I received a fill or not, my nails should not break.) I sat, silent. When my nails were complete, I got up and walked out. There was no way I would was going to pay twice for a service I should have received the first time around, especially when hours of my time were wasted as well. The receptionist they have (not sure if she's still there) always has a stank face like she just smelled the worst fart in the world, has a terrible attitude and doesn't care to help the customer. I needed to get my nails done ASAP for a baby shower. Luckily someone cancelled & they were able to take me as a walk in. This is my 2nd time coming here. All I wanted was a French tip. I have been coming her for about five months and overall my experience has been good. They are reasonably priced and usually do a good job. They aren't very friendly but most nail places aren't so it did not bother me. There are several things wrong with this place but I didn't let them bother me since this was the only decent place in close proximity to my house. I went in to do my nails on Saturday and they had a new guy doing my nails. He was extremely sloppy, he glued on one nail crooked and then pushed it in the other direction to try and fix it! While it was already glued onto my nail! He had no idea what he was doing, the acrylic was all over my hand and fingers. He cut me with the drill over and over again and I was bleeding from 6 of my cuticles. My hands are still sore today and my cuticles are red and have scans on them now. I had to tell him my nails were crooked 4 or 5 times and even after trying to correct his work they still look like total garbage. The guy is new, and I'm 100% sure isn't certified to do nails. What they are doing to people is wrong, I paid 30$ for these trash nails and for the first time in my life I didn't tip the person who did my nails.They have another guy working here who did my pedicure the last time I was there and he did the worst job I've ever seen. They had him practicing painting nails before he did a pedicure on me. They shouldn't have students working on people and taking there hard earned money. They should also know that you need to be certified to do someone's nails and handle drills that can hurt people, like that guy named WU did to me. Also, they were laughing when they said he was going to do my nails because they already knew he was going to mess them up. The reason I said nothing to the owner is because I've heard if you say something you will get called a bitch and someone will try and fight you. So, I just paid and left. I finally stumbled upon this place a couple months ago and will never go anywhere else again! The salon has a great atmosphere, the massage chairs are better than most salons I've been to, and their quality of service is very consistent. Brian and Aaron are so kind and accommodating.
