Really wish I could give 0 stars. Idk where the hype comes from for these nails, in person the nails look nothing like the sets they post on ig let's start there. I made an appointment 4 days prior to desired date. The morning of they harassed me for a 30$ deposit to hold my appointment time, my appointment was literally in an hour and I confirmed. Anyways I was coming in so I sent a deposit. I got there and they told me to sit at station 5 once the receptionist said that a guy literally smacked his teeth, rolled his eyes, & threw up his hands as though taking me was an Inconvenience, youd think they'd be happy to make a tip lol then they sat me at number 7 with a girl who seemed to be in a rush and just as unhappy to do my nails. If all your techs are miserable it's time to get some new ones, why should clients be made to feel bad for a paying service when your employees don't want to work. She rushed threw the whole set, gave me a big bulk square tip as if we were in early 2000s when I asked for skinny tapered square. when I asked her to go skinnier she'd file and the nails just became more uneven. When she put the tips on she glued them lop sided, some tips even were going straight up, I told her before she applied acrylic, she said she'd fix it.. and my goodness they were quite literally the ugliest nails I've ever gotten done. She put 2 layers of colored acrylic and filed tip and edge one time, these nails were straight with no apex, bulky, and acrylic was sitting on my cuticle bed. I pointed them out to her she filed one swipe and walked to the back as if she was done.I'm so annoyed at this point I'm ready to go, there's no way these things will be more then 50$ I go to the front and they tried to charge me 100$ didn't know I left a deposit and when I said I did changed price to 70$.. "for length" these nails weren't even worth 20$. I would have been better off and more comfortable with press ons at this point. I call the next day bc I just can't take them they're ugly af, uncomfortable and I just want them removed, they kept trying to change times for me to come in and charge me an additional 30$. Lol BYE, I decided to soak them off else where and bc the acrylic was so high on my cuticles, my fingers have cuts from trying to remove this hack job. So I'll leave this review and keep posting about it to my 10k+ followers. Stay awaaaaay, need a nail shop in the valley top nails on balboa saved my hands you'd think they'd do everything to protect the brand they built, but those employees will be the end of that establishment read more

You guys should definitely try to hire receptionists who actually sound alive and want to help you. I called to make an appointment and was greeted by some girl that sounds like she just woke up mumbling. I asked if they do sculptured sets with forms and the receptionist was like "huh" so I repeated myself and she goes uhhh yeah we can instead of asking someone because she clearly didn't know what I was talking about. I have been to many nail places until I found We nails. All I can say is how happy I am every time I get my nails done here! It's the best nail place I have EVER gone to! They reply quickly to help you set an appointment. The entire staff is friendly. Also, they make sure you sign a waiver upon your arrival about covid and they also check your temperature. After that is done, they require you to wash your hands , then they sanitize their chairs and equipment for your nail experience to be as safe as possible. I have not been to this salon before - but I tried to make an appt for my bday recently ... they ask me to send a pic of what I wanted to send me a quote ( I assume people may have issue with payment or something) .. I sent my pic and was quoted close to 300 dollars for something that when shown to several other professional nail techs they quoted 50 percent or more less than that. This place seems like they are feeling themselves because they are popular. I never have had a problem paying for nail art when it's worth it but geez! read more

After visiting we nails for numerous amounts of times and recommending to +3 more people I can truly say we nails is the bomb! I usually call/text for an appointment within 2-3 days prior and they always accommodate me for a fill/new set. I've never had to wait, prices are extremely reasonable and cheaper compared to other nail salons. They have an array of color choices, they are unique in their designs and they are QUICK. I've taken my gf here once before and the price was good and service was fine. Second time was not pleasant. She was charged about $30 more for a simpler design and shape than last time. The employees were very quiet and no conversation was sparked. Her nails were so bad that I had to remove the design and we did a diy. Got quoted $120 originally so that tells you it's overpriced. Literally the best nail place I've EVER been. Their selection of acrylic powder colors are by far the biggest variety I've ever seen. Aaron did my nails and as a serious nail lover I rate him a 15 on a 1-10 scale. I messaged them on Instagram and got a next day appointment! The salon is very clean and open lots of space and they have literally a wall of acrylic colored powders, maybe 20-40 boxes of different glitters and nail art , and prob over 100 different gel colors! This is the best nail salon I've EVER been to and I am EXTREMELY picky. Pricing is not overpriced it is super reasonable. My nails took about an hour and 15 min and the amount of time it usually takes to do my nails for all my designs is usually 3-4 hours! I'll never go anywhere else! read more

I definitely recommend her, she's such a sweet girl and very attentive to detail. After getting acrylics for a couple of months, I decided to give my nails a little break and just get gel manicures, that's when I found Van. She's beyond amazing with the gel manicures! I've never had a nail tech do my gel manicure and have it last over 3 weeks! The last place i went to, the rhinestones would come off after 4 days but here when i go back to get a fill they are still on there strong. So.. I was really excited to try this popular place out, I heard so many good things about this place & they have +30K insta followers. My family are nail techs ourselves, so we know what's up.. I had a last minute wedding to attend to & my fam was too busy to do my nails. So I wanted to treat myself to a new place & I was recommended this place by a friend. They told the best of the best is Bryan or Chloe. I called in to make an appointment just to hear that Bryan doesn't take any new clients & Chloe is busy. So I asked them to just give me whoever is first available, so they gave this Asian brunette to do my nails. Her service was so bad.. I told her in the beginning, I wanted a Regular Full-Set Acrylic with Regular pink nail polish over it. Meaning I am willing to sit here till my nails are dry... I don't want gel. She started by gluing my fake nails on, & I can already tell she didn't put enough super glue & they're already lifting on the sides, next she started cutting my nails down short. She didn't even bother to ask me how long I wanted them? or How short? Does this look ok? Hello? Nothing... the only thing she asked me was "what's your nationality?" & I told I'm Fluent Vietnamese... After that not a single word from her... She just started cutting them all off & they were already all short & some fingers are short & some are long. My thumbs are uneven. So there was no point in asking her to make them longer... so I kept my mouth shut. Then she started doing the acrylic powder... she asked what color I was doing.. I said a light pink.. & then she said "let's do this pink powder instead so, it's easier & drys faster.... it's the same thing" & I said, "no just regular clear powder pls, & then regular pink polish over it... because that's not the same thing.. cause if you use pink powder, you just have to put a clear top coat over it at the end.. I wanted regular polished.." Then she continued to say "it's the same thing!!" I told her it's not..& she continued to argued with me anyway thinking I don't know my sh*t. So I just let her do whatever she wanted.. she pulled out some $10 Mia Secret: Acrylic Pink Powder jar.. I knew that product was cheap powder because as she continued, I notice when she dipped her brush in the purple Liquid & then picked up pink powder then onto my nails, the powder kept dripping down or softin' up onto the napkin or clumping up under my nail causing her to restart over & over again. (bot không dính vào nhau) It wouldn't stick or harden to put on my nail. I could tell she was struggled big time with the pink powder because when she finished with the pink powder, my nails were thiccck. She filed it down with the tool machine, filed it, buffer it to make it thinner which it worked, but it's still alittle thick. So whatever, at this point, I'm just not happy, I'm over it & I wanna be done. As we continue, she applied Gel-Top-Coat & pulled out the light gel machine, again, something I specifically did not ask for. I don't give a damn about the drying fast!!! So at this point I'm just like whatever... just finish me.. after I paid $40... I left. I have never in my life ask for a regular acrylic fullset & paid $40 for a Regular... that I ask for should not cost $40. A Regular Full Set Acrylic cost no more than $30. It's been 4 days now that I've had these nails. The nails are already cracking & the sides of the nails are already lifting up. Like whaaat?? These are suppose to last at least 2 weeks & they look like crap & lifting already?? It's been 4 days... Is there something i'm missing?? Y'all are charging people $40 for a regular fullset using cheap a** products too? My nails probably even won't last longer than a week. I'm so upset & disappointed.. i felt rushed & that they didn't care. I will never give this place the time of the day or recommend anyone to come here. EVER. Terrible service & the shop is really dusty/dirty too. They're Buddha statues need a little dusting. Wow I have never had such bad service, especially when I know the nail business very well & I know my sh*t & take care of my nails really well.. I'm so disappointed.. wow. Good day. read more
