I recently received an email from them, offering a 15% discount on tree service. I scheduled a quote for lat Friday, the 28th. Joe arrived, assessed the required work, and presented a quote that was almost $200 more than the previous work performed 10 months ago for virtually the same thing! I asked about a 1st responder discount and he said he'll waive the tax. There was no mention or consideration of the 15% discount. He also stated that they should've charged more for the previous work. In my opinion, this is nothing more than the old bait and switch con. They don't stand behind their word. I cannot continue to recommend Green Pine Tree Service.

I originally noticed their advertisement on my door, and when I called, a representative arrived within about 90 minutes. Joe was very knowledgeable and provided a fair, reasonable quote. I would definitely recommend this company for their fair pricing, skilled team, and the care they put into their work.

Heads up! Months ago, and I mean months ago, I contracted a contractor to cut down two of my trees…read morein my front yard. He was also contracted to grind the stumps. He told me that his stump grinder was being repaired and he would return. I have made numerous attempts to contact him because of his failure to honor his contract (hand shake). He will not return my calls. I even threatened legal action. I threatened to contact the better business bureau and to post to the neighborhood site unless he honored his contract. That has not happened. So I do plan on reporting him to the better business bureau, and I do plan on legal action. I realize I will spend more money than it's worth financially. However, I feel obligated to take a personal stand against dishonest people. The contractors name is Darrell Nest, and his telephone number is 469-396-7497. If you wish to hire a dishonest contractor, then this is the person to hire. If, by chance, and Darrell reads this, please understand that my next step is the better business bureau, and after that, i will begin the process of taking action through theĥĥ filing with small claims. You have one week to grind the stump. If anyone can share this post so no one else hires this contractor

I called this company on a Tuesday and left a message to return my call regarding tree service I…read moreneeded. Four days go by and then late on Saturday night I get a call from them and it goes into into my voice mail. A man named Harold leaves a long rambling message that goes on for one minute and 8 seconds and he sounds intoxicated. He is slurring his words and saying weird things like "he was wondering if I was ok" and that "they return calls in the order they receive them" and other strange remarks. At the same time I started getting text messages of photos of his tree service company logo and other pictures of guys cutting trees down, etc. I received a total of five text photos which really used up my cell data. So I call this guy to tell him that I have already hired someone to cut my trees and not to call me again. When he answers he sounds intoxicated again. I told him the that he waited four days to return my call, was sending unsolicited large file photo text messages, and that he left me a long rambling voice mail. He is slurring his words so I gave him a piece of my mind and not to ever call me again. Would advise anyone from using this unprofessional company that waits four days to return a call then calls late Saturday night sounding intoxicated.

I haven't seen their work or their prices yet but after speaking to them on the phone and…read morescheduling for them to come out and give me a quote on service for my property, I have high hopes! I will be sure to update my review based on fairness of price and quality of work. Promised update: they came out once to do an overall cleanup to get the property on track and did a good job, though I'm no expert. Not sure how fair their price is (I do have a corner lot on a cul de sac) but it ran us $270. From there, we were supposed to get on a biweekly service for $35 (which seemed pretty reasonable) but my service apparently was never implemented. They were supposed to come out 3 times in November and never did. When I got around to calling about it (I have a 3 month old; if you have kids, you'll understand) today, I was told they'd probably have to come out to do another cleanup. I explained I really didn't want to pay another almost $300 just because they failed to implement the plan we agreed on and was told (albeit nicely) while someone there did "drop the ball", it's my fault for waiting a month to notice and call them. Second update: We cancelled our service after they broke our gate getting into our yard and were seen throwing sticks into our neighbors yard. Terrible!

Three of My Trees Needed a Pro. Better Call Sal!…read more A very Large Cedar tree did not make it through the winter. I think it was about 30 feet high. And I had a 20 foot tall Pecan tree that died also. When Sal's crew arrived, they informed me I also had one more dead Pecan tree. The trees were a bit crowded, so when the men finished thinning out, the overall effect was very pleasing to the eye. And the crew ground the stumps down, filled the holes and cleaned everything up. It is hard to tell Sal's crew were ever there bringing down those tall trees and reducing it all to mulch. When the crew found the third dead tree (a Pecan) they quickly estimated a price, but it was over my budget, so I told them "next time". Sal's guy agreed to knock off $200, and get it all done so this job would look great, and the problem was off my list. I was not angling for a discount but it made it worthwhile to squirm for the extra. And I realized they were so right when I saw the finished result looked just beautiful with all the trees attended to. Sal, I am glad your guys can "think of Their Feet".
