I have had some pretty awful experiences with movers, so I was a basket case when the boys arrived to my house (10mins early ) They were so kind and calm and made me feel like they would have absolutely no problem with my move. I was going back and forth from old house to new when they were loading the truck and only took two trips before they were already ready to go! They wrapped like almost everything and didn't stop working the entire time. They had the most cheerful attitudes and worked very well together as a team. I had clearly explained that we needed to stay under two hours due to budget, and that any remaining items could be handled later. Despite that, the time was not managed responsibly, and my belongings even ended up smelling like cigarettes. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. The company's time management and billing practices need serious improvement. I would advise future customers to carefully monitor the time and clarify billing expectations upfront and firmer as they did not take me serious; maybe because I'm a lady. It appeared that efficiency was not a priority and I assuming that the company suggests to take their time to take advantage of an extra funds-- the movers didn't even use a dolly, which could have made the process much quicker. While the movers were courteous, the lack of professionalism and accountability made the experience frustrating. I agree with previous reviews that described the service as less than honest. I hope the company takes feedback like this seriously and makes improvements moving forward. Instead of trying make the client at fault and with excuses. The first mover I booked completely ghosted me. He didn't return my calls or texts. In panic mode, I relied on a friend, which was a mistake. I had wanted movers to alleviate it from my conscience. I had two nervous breakdowns and I fainted from lack of sleep and food. A friend of mine referred me to Magnum Movers and they were able to fit me in IMMEDIATELY. They were the NICEST and most careful men! And super friendly and courteous, always wearing their masks. They did everything I directed them to, and did amazing work moving the remaining 50% of my 1bed1ba to my new 1bed1ba. The price was also excellent for the quality. Magnum Movers restored my faith in moving companies and I am so happy they were able to help me during this emotionally and physically exhausting time. Then they come with a small truck and the movers just randomly stack things and don't maximize the trucks space. They were not able to get all of my stuff and it's a typic 3 bedroom house.
