So I told him I would be in touch. Fast forward a week later. I had an appointment at 11am again. And AGAIN that time came and went. I called, emailed and texted, but never heard anything. I took PTO hours off so I could be there for the appointments at 11am! I know, I should have learned the first time, but I truly thought it was just a misunderstanding. Had a work-in visit today from Airmaster for a old old old unit that stopped working over the…read moreweekend. The horizontal unit is tucked away in a kneewall and is difficult to access the drain pan....which was the entirety of the problem. Clogged drainline which resulted in a float switch stopping the entire unit until emptied. The closed in area was no problem for the tech, Richard...who unclogged the line and then heaved himself into the knee wall between the rafters and horizontal furnace in order to clean the pan. Checking the pressure at the condensing unit, we had sufficient everything including temp testing the supply and return ducts....he wrapped it up in less than an hour and back to cooling off that portion of our home. It always an expense to call in for any maintenance and repair on any part of your home....but fair prices and good workers makes it worth the while for my continuing to call back AirMaster.

Found these guys via a Reddit discussion with several people saying they were very honest. This was exactly my experience. They pointed out exactly what had caused the issues and helped me get every possible part covered under warranty which ended up saving me around $1100. They took their time to explain every detail of what was wrong and what needed to be done so that it was certain I understood everything. Work was completed the very next day after the part arrived and took maybe an hour. Calling these guy for every future HVAC need, without hesitation.

I had 3 estimates for a furnace replacement and Ward was the best price of all 3, which was great!…read moreHe was nice, seemed knowledgeable, and gave me confidence that he would do a good job. We had some issues with the condensation line immediately after the install took place, which he promptly came out to fix. He said the newer furnace puts out more condensation than the old one, so it would be prone to freezing unless he ran the line elsewhere. First up, he fixed it by cutting it and leaving it disconnected in the crawlspace (see picture). Second up, he drilled a hole in my sewage line and tucked it in there (see picture). He finally reconnected it how it was at first and then said there's nothing else he could do. I called two other companies to give me an estimate on solutions and they independently said that the condensation line was the least of my concerns and the install was done very poorly. The exhaust line was sloped incorrectly and leaking (see pictures). The furnace itself also was not level, so the incorrect slope meant the unit was holding water and repeatedly short-cycling. He also failed to recommend an appropriately sized plenum for the unit, and patched the difference with scraps and tape (see picture). I had to spend over $2,000 just to fix his work. I reached out to Ward to make it right and he would not respond, so I decided to leave this review. In summary, he did a very poor job, has stopped answering calls and texts, and is unwilling to make it right.

I told them we hadn't had ours cleaned in ten years! They used a drone to inspect the top of our chimney which was in good shape due to our recent roof renovation. They did notice some foundational issues/cracks which they fixed free of charge after cleaning out our chimney. I will be using them once a year now to make sure our chimney is in tip top shape. They were communicative, trustworthy, and super informative.

They said there would be a charge to come out for an estimate. You never said the pictures were blurry or I would have resent them. They look fine on my end. And yes the guy from this company did say I needed a different cover for the flue, saying mine was aftermarket. But that's odd because the house was built with that particular cover and so are the other ones in my neighborhood. Sounds like you're just trying to cover your tail.

He checked out my unit and told me the dreadful news, that I needed another unit. He emailed a quote to repair the damages and a quote for a new unit. He did not provide pictures like other companies do but the service was great!
