Tommy Stamps is amazing at what he does. Very professional and a company with integrity, he came out on his scheduled time and didn't have me waiting around the house like other companies I dealt with in the past. As a matter of fact, he had to diagnose a problem another company caused with my unit. I've used them in the past and they definitely would be my go-to company for all my A/C needs moving forward. If you want a company built on professionalism, integrity, and knowledge Just Cooling Air Conditioning and heating is the right choice for you. I've have already referred them to friends and family and will continue referring them to people. You won't have to worry about being scammed as I was by the company I used before them but, that's another story, and I will be dealing with that very soon with videos provided by my neighbor. "JUST COOLING HEATING AND AIR" Your go to company! read more

Know that when Philip Fields comes out that you are in good hands. My AC stopped working and had been looked at by Reliable under their service plan and all they did was try to sell me a new HVAC without trying to diagnose or fix the issue. When Philip came out he had it working within minutes of his arrival. Once he confirmed the issue was addressed, he walked me through the problem and gave me some great recommendations and next steps. Reliable wanted me to spend thousands on a new unit without proper diagnosis. Just Cooling rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done. read more

Kudos to tech Phillip Fields for his help with my AC/furnace. I reached out to Choice Home Warranty because my AC was making a horrible racket. They hooked me up with Just Cooling and Just Cooling sent me Phillip. This tech was very professional and personable. He diagnosed the problem with my unit quickly and explained it in such a way that I, as a layperson and HVAC ignoramus, was able to understand what the issue was. He ordered a part for the repair, returned in a timely manner, and quickly performed the needed work. He provided additional information about the functioning of my system and made recommendations for maintenance, but did not do a "hard sell." Very grateful for the good service! read more

I read the mixed bag of reviews on this company and people's experience working with them in conjunction with Choice Home Warranty prior to Choice sending them to repair my AC. I think everyone's level of satisfaction will vary greatly depending on the individual service tech that comes to do your diagnosis and handle your claim. With that being said, my experience with Eugene was excellent! I was initially assigned a different company by Choice home warranty which came to my home 3 separate times without getting my AC running. I told Choice that I was not pleased with the initial company and they sent out Just Cooling. Eugene, my technician, was on time an had my AC up and running in 2 visits. 1st visit- He correctly diagnosed my issue without trying to "up charge" my claim for stuff that wasn't even wrong, which the other company was doing. 2nd visit- I was given a 4pm-8pm window for Eugene's arrival on a Friday. Eugene was held over on the job before mine and he offered to come on Saturday but I didn't want to go another night without AC. He arrived around 830pm and replaced my fan motor in the dark using his phone's flashlight!!! I could finally get a comfortable nights sleep. read more

We have worked with Just Cooling on a few occasions over the last year and we are very happy with their service. They first replaced our furnace through our home warranty company and then this year, worked with our warranty company to replace our whole a/c system after diagnosing a hole in our coil that another company provided an incorrect diagnosis for. Beth at the office was very helpful when there was an issue with our claim through CHW and Omar, our tech for this recent issue, was the best we've had so far. He explained what was wrong, corrected a problem with a wire he noticed in our attic, and was courteous, prompt and professional during each interaction. read more

I was very pleased with the quick response from Just Cooling. My warranty company did not respond to the actual complaint so Tommy needed a new work order before he could check my unit. He was extremely professional and understanding. l appreciated the way that he handled the situation. read more

This company went far beyond what any one else would do when my heater went out right before this past weekends snow and cold weather. OMAR was the tech who took care of my unit and he was just so considerate, kind and determined to help me. I am 75 and with the cold weather he was genuinely concerned about me having no heat. The cost of repair was so reasonable, I had to ask him to repeat the amount. I highly recommend Just Cooling and while I am at it Beth who answered my call...thank you! You customer service is A++++. read more

Very knowledgeable & professional Tech. Honest business practice, focused on long-term client satisfaction rather than a quick buck. Clear communication, transparent service, can't praise them enough, highly recommend! read more

So far not happy. I was assigned Just Cooling from Choice Home Warranty. I was told on Wednesday it would be Friday before they could come and access the problem. I called to find out if they could come at an earlier time because it is Memorial weekend and I was told no that is the 1st available. I was also told I could contact the warranty company for a different company to come out. I expressed my concern to the receptionist /scheduler because on Friday if they come and have to come back it will be a week without air. Again I was told that I could request a new company. Soo let's see how this plays out. So far not so good. read more

Not a good experience with the technician that came out. I think his name was Mark. He was not professional and I kept feeling like I was going to be ripped off. He didn't even come prepared to diagnose my issue and had to reschedule so I ended up going with someone else. Antoine did reach out to me and talk to me thoroughly and apologized. I don't think I would have had an issue had I seen him. He was very responsive and professional and addressed my concerns I had with Mark and I appreciate that. read more

Just Cooling was assigned to us twice for two different issues by Choice Home Warranty. Their technician, Omar came both times. I have to say that Omar was THE BEST! Both times he was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. He fixed a problem today during a short visit that another company tried to fix but could not. After he was finished he explained what he had done and answered all of my questions. Great job! read more

Antoin was extremely professional and thorough. We had previous companies look at our AC, but Antoin was the one who properly diagnosed the issue. Great company and fair prices! read more

Prompt service for a new install of an Amana 16 seer. I recieved outstanding customer service from both Anthony and Antoine. Even the front office was courteous and very professional. Will definitely be using them for my yearly maintenance and for any future Hvac needs. read more

Choice Home Warranty assigned my A/C issue to Just Cooling this was on 9/10 the first appointment was Saturday said they would arrive between 2-4 never showed at 5:45 Antonio called to tell me the window was until 6 but he was an hour away in Buckhead so would reschedule. Choice Home Warranty rescheduled with them for 9/15 between 4-8 at 8:45 Antonio showed up and fixed the problem even though Choice Home Warranty was closed and I told him they would not be there to approve the repair. read more

Nice enough tech but completely incompetent. AC wasn't blowing cold so I filed through my home insurance. They came out, did a leak test and told me I was leaking refrigerant. Told me they couldn't diagnose exactly where the leak was without an expensive test that would take a lot of time and money but told the insurance company it was a problem with a part that just happens to not be covered. Insurance company no longer willing to cover the test because it has now been "diagnosed" to be a problem with a part they don't cover. A total scam all around. Got a second opinion who told me they didn't perform the leak test correctly in the first place. Absolutely do not trust these people or choice home warranty with your time and money. And apparently I'm not the first customer based on reviews here who has had this problem. Adding to the evidence of incompetence at best and scamming at worst from this company. read more

I had a great experience with Just Cooling. They were scheduled out thru choice home warranty and were on time and efficient. Tech found the issue immediately and fixed it in about 30 minutes. It was a hot day and a/c unit is located in the attic so kudos to the tech for doing such a great job in the extreme heat. He was also very personable and thoroughly explained the issue. read more

This company is terrible!! Let's put it this way.......this is the company that Choice Home Warranty calls to use for their warranties. If you know anything about these home warranty companies, then you know that they are more in the business of giving you the run around, than they are in fixing your problem. My AC unit was low on refrigerant, and this is the company that they sent. It took 3 separate visits with a 4 hour window each, and they still did not solve the problem, and I am convinced that was never their intention. 1st visit was to collect $75 co-pay and verify there was a problem and nothing else! 2nd visit was to do a "leak test" and shut off my AC for 3 days while they "tested". 3rd visit was to determine what the "Leak Test" determined, which they told me they could not find a leak. Then, they needed a 4th visit to fix it, but the Home Warranty company denied my claim based on whatever the technician wrote. I truly believe that they never had the intention of doing more than collecting my money and stringing me along until I got the rejection that they set out to get from the start. Have you EVER heard of an AC company needing to come out 3 separate times before they ever even got to the repair portion?! Can you imagine what my life was like that week with no AC and having to have appointments for 3 separate work days with 4 hour windows each?! If you want to waste a ton of time and get poor to no results for that time, and you want to have your AC broken for a week while they string you along, then this is the company for you!!! I would avoid Choice Home Warranty too!! read more

The technician was professional and highly intelligent. Sent someone right away and they arrived on time. We had a problem with our heating unit. It wasn't working again. Seems to happen every year. We were afraid because the last company that was here for our air conditioner said we would need new heating units in the fall. THEY LIED! The Just Cooling technician told me I didn't need a new unit at all. Some of the wires had become loose over time and were not making a connection. It took him a bit of time to reconnect them properly but he has the unit working like a champ! Cant tell you how many times technicians have seen that unit and replaced parts and come to find out it has been loose wires all along. He said the unit is fine and should last us a while. His charge was under $100.00. Also amazing! HIGHLY recommend Antonio Dorsey and JUST Cooling. We will NEVER use anyone else. read more

From the moment I met these gentlemen and they entered my home, they were my family. As a single Mom and in between, employment having to fix...much less replace 2 units in a brand new townhouse was more than overwhelming and impossible. I was given hours of education, honest options, reliable feedback and the truest of gut feelings they were taking my best interest and realistic budget to heart. I couldn't say more about anyone with this company except they truly care, want to help you and will deliver and stand by their promises as their word and handshake is a contract. There is not any other company or individual I have ever needed to help me service or maintain the basic but necessary equipment to live in my home with comfort and without worry from the moment we shared hellos. By far and above anything I expected and I am blessed with their service. Truly the best experience in my life and my 83 year old fathers life which says it all. They are a blessing and I only hope if you find yourself in the position to need to repair or to replace a costly appliance unexpectedly, to call them first. You'll never make another call or doubt your decision to trust you are in good hands. read more

Great experience with this company! They were quick in their response, worked around my schedule, and were very friendly and professional. Highly knowledgeable and able to pinpoint the problem to fix my AC. Both Antoine and Anthony were great to work with. read more

The company is responsive, they will respond your calls and easy to reach, scheduling is easy as well. I got to work with company because Choice Warranty assigned them to AC task . It was found zoning panel was bad and was not covered by warranty. EWC company zone panel was installed. I went to Attic and saw it was a circuit board with exposed wires and no cover, technician left the circuit uncovered. I called the company, another technician was sent quickly and they figured that board wires were not installed in a way that board panel can be covered. So they re-arranged wires, also made cuts in board and applied transparent cover and covered ends with Duct tape. Thanks read more

Had a Choice Home Warranty (never again) send "just crooking heating & air" out to fix my AC. The fan motor was making a noise like it was going to explode. Jeremy comes out to diagnose the problem. Hears the noise, checks the fan and motor. Says yep its bad. Gets out his smart phone with his camera probe and starts looking at my heat exchange. I asked why he was doing that and he said if I can find something wrong with it the home warranty will replace the whole unit. He took pictures and sent them to my home warranty which declined the claim and will not pay for anything not even the fan motor. I called Antwone and he said they won't get paid on the fan motor replacement if the unit fails in the next two months so they always replace the whole unit. BEWARE read more

ALWAYS, ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion. I was told that my Evaporator coils were leaking, and the coils were rusted, and they needed to be replaced, and my refrigerant was extremely low. I was almost bamboozled. I almost spent $2500 dollars, when my unit is only 6 years old. They never mentioned to check and see if I still had a warranty for parts on my unit. They knew that my claim would be denied through Choice Home Warranty for the replacement of the Evaporator coils. I was given a false diagnosis and lied to. I called a Professional company and got a 2nd opinion. The Professional company stated there was NO LEAK and my unit was not low on refrigerant, as previously stated. The Professional company also mentioned that if a leak were to be found, we would contact the manufacturer and get replacement parts, under my 10 year parts warranty. Which would have been covered. The Professional team fixed a simple problem and now my unit is blowing ice cold air. Without having to have the Evaporator coils replaced, as previously diagnosed. Again, please and always get a 2nd opinion. Don't trust what they tell you, when dealing with "Just Cooling Heating & Air Conditioning. It will save you time and money. I would have given them zero stars, but it wasn't a choice. read more

They came to my home based on a relationship with my warranty company. The power source failed during inspection. They came to fix tit. They did not complete the work up to code. I had it inspected and it failed. When I was calling to get the work redone, they wouldn't pick up. Once I finally got an answer from a manager they refused to fix their shoddy work. I would never use them again. read more

Great experience. I called yesterday for an appointment and the technicians Luis and Mark arrived on time. I explained the problem with the HVAC,. I would definitely call them in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Called the office to schedule an appointment and verify that they know how to deal with a chilled-water heat pump system. They say not a problem. Technician calls me to tell me he's parking outside. Don't hear from him for 30 minutes. Call him back to see if he's okay and he tells me he left because he read the notes and they don't work with chilled-water heat pump system. Didn't have the courtesy to call me - just left! Waste of everybody's time! read more

We ended up getting this company under our home warranty service for a minor repair. We received oustanding customer service by Anthony, our technician. He made our time less stressful when discussing future heating/cooling options without pressuring us into buying something. Because of his honesty and guidance, we are planning on purchasing several gas furnaces through him and having him to continue to maintain our HVAC units. We are really pleased with his professionalism and customer service and would highly recommend him to others. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. read more

Highly recommended. I originally had another company come out to assess an old furnace and condenser, and they charged me for diagnostics (looked at it), plus quoted me an outrageous price for replacement. I had Just Cooling come out a day later, and he quoted me a fair and reasonable price, plus didn't charge me for visit. I scheduled install, and it went flawless. Very professional and easy to work with. read more

Excellent Service. The technician, Mark, was very professional, courteous and extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable.

I called Just cooling on 8-10-2015 and they stated they could not come until 8-11-2015. Upon arrival of the first Tech (Antonio) I explained what the A/C was doing making noise and cutting off of course upon his arrival all was working fine. He checked the freon a it was a half of a pound low. Antonio advised that he didn't see a problem and to call back if this happened again. Sure enough on 8-12-2015 the A/C was up to it's old tricks doing the same things. I videotaped the problem for the tech prior to his arrival. Upon his arrival of course all was well again. I showed the video to (Anthony) and he stated no matter what the video showed he could do nothing. Anthony was very rude and had a non-caring attitude and stated to me that this call was free anyway. Not a good response I called another A/C company (Icon Mechanical)and within 15 minutes of the arrival of the Tech he found the problem Capacitor and switch. Great job ICON Mechanical will use you in the future for all my needs.
