It was during the time that outside temperatures were in high 90s. inside the house was in high 80s. I called three companies they all could not come and they were charging over $100 just for diagnostic and were not crediting that if there was repair. I called Climate Heroes they said we charge $89 and if there is repair we will waive the $89. I scheduled and they were able to come the next day. The lady also said for first time customers we discount to $49. The next day the technician was late I called and they said we are getting a lot of calls he is running late and we will discount your fee to $29.00. The Technician (Jackson) arrived not too long after did a complete check of both our downstairs and upstairs system and determined we have bad Freon leak in one of the systems. He actually showed me pictures of inside of the coil that was all frozen with ice. The unit was about 10 yrs old he suggested we consider a new system and contacted their Sr. project Manager Ron to come. Ron arrived while Jackson was still trying to fix the system temporary. Ron did a walk through of the house and estimated what type of system we need. He gave me an estimate even with discounts it was higher than what we wanted to spend. I contacted couple of friends in that business and they all agreed for the unit he was recommending it was a reasonable price. I called Ron back and made him an offer for less than his estimate. He check with is manager and accepted my counter offer. He scheduled the install for following day. That is when Edwardo Hernandez and Brandon Kim came. During these process I was constantly kept informed of their status. They came and worked all day until late almost 10 p.m. but the job was much more complicated as the old system and the Duct work done by the builder for the original system was installed very bad. I am not sure if it was even to code. They removed, replaced all that and installed both the unit in the attic and outside fan and compressor. For the system to work properly and draw all the hot air out Ron had added a new Return and an additional supply. They ran out of time but came back early next day and completed the job. Checked everything and during the whole process kept me informed of their work and educated me on the new system. By the time they left the unit was working perfectly cooling the house. At no cost to us they also checked the second unit added more Freon and checked it fully. In my opinion both the staff at the office, the management team and the technicians went above an beyond to make sure we were fully satisficed. We will defiantly purchase our other unit from them. But as a certified Business Coach having worked with many such companies. I am highly recommending Climate Heroes to everyone. You will be fully satisfied not with their product and work but the value for your money. I rarely give such reviews to any company but because of quality of work and the value specially for such an important assets in anyone's home I believe Climate Heroes get 100% of my remanadtion. read more

They did a tremendous job. I bought a house that was a flip. The people who did the HVAC built this terrible Frankenstein HVAC system. Climate Heroes came in and rearchitected the entire ventilation system fixed up the insulation and upgraded to a two zone system. They didn't try to upsell me they sold me what I needed for my home. We have heat in places we never did before. The new system is so quiet. The entire time was polite and respectful. There worked 17 hours straight to get my job done. Even at 2 in the morning they were still kind and patient. I will never call another company for my HVAC needs (even if I didn't have a 10 year warranty on parts and labor). We moved into a 1400 square-foot ranch in Forsyth County in 2023, so when our air-conditioning went out last summer, not being familiar with businesses in the area, we contacted Climate Heroes based on good online reviews. We were informed that our air conditioner (which had been keeping us marvelously cool btw) had been jury-rigged with parts from multiple air conditioners so that any repair would be strictly temporary. Climate Heroes recommended replacement in part because a significant price hike on ac's was anticipated in 2025 due to new environmental requirements. We agreed and were given a contract estimate Of $11,000. (Yes--11K! You did not read that incorrectly). More the fool us, but we naturally assumed we were getting a state-of-the-art air conditioner, which can cost anywhere from 6k to 9K and can be eligible for energy tax credits. Within a few days we had our new unit. It lists at about $1500. Although this unit has been running 24/7, the thermostat reads 72°, but because our indoor humidity is 73%, (ideally should be between 30-50%), iit feels much warmer. We are sweltering in. Even in the middle of the night we can't get it to cool down much below 70. And this in such a small house. Climate Heroes' rationale for the high cost? Service! They have good warranties! The unit is made in the USA! Doesn't do any good if the unit is cheap and inferior in the first place. Stay away from these guys. They are not honest. They are not my heroes. read more

Our AC went out on Saturday and I scheduled service for Monday which they told me the window was from 8-12. Then I was told I would get a call from dispatch 1-2 hours before arrival. 12 came around and no call. I texted them and they told me they could not give me an ETA. I texted again at 3:30pm and they called me and told me they had to move my appointment to tomorrow. Came back to a cold house yesterday from a short trip. Furnace was not working & I went into the crawl space and checked the LED light (flashing 3x) which means there is a pressure issue. Went online and found/called Climate Heroes. Technician came this morning (on time), inspected the unit. Came into the house, showed me a bunch of pics, discussed the state of the furnace. Immediate repair cost (Induced Draft Blower Motor): $1,482.00. However, "informed" me of a number of additional issues: rusted heat exchanger with "probable holes", etc., etc., etc. He recommended to take care of these as well at a cost of $8,843.00. The unit was installed in 2009. I paid the quote fee of around $79.00 and said no thanks. I went online and looked up the cost of the Induced Draft Blower Motor. Around $200.00. I called another HVAC company and mentioned the issue and their technician came out, replaced the Induced Draft Blower Motor for $843.00 ($639.00 less). He inspected the heat exchanger and the rest of the additional "issues" and in his opinion everything is good to go. I then called one of the best home inspectors in Atlanta, emailed him the pics and in his opinion the issues are not important enough to spend almost $9,000.00 on. read more

Justin Cooper responded very quickly when I called to set the appointment for our annual checkup. He is extremely knowledgeablte, and answered our myriad of questions. He thoroghly explained his theories on why we have such varying temperatures from room to room, as well as the fact that the age and layout of our home may be the culprit. He tested our equipment and presented the good news that everything was operating correctly, and that he would get back to us with possible options to allow our system to work even better. Justin offered to respond to any further questions or issues we may have and asked us to followup on the adjustments he made with our four zoned thermostats. Don't use theses thieves,,My blower motor went out because the drain line clogged and water shorted out the motor, I knew it he knew it, he told me I needed to replace the whole unit. I said no ,he then quoted me 2800.00 to replace the motor or 12,000.00 to replace the unit, replace the motor, it'll take about 3 weeks I said OK he charged me 90.00 for the 10min visit, 3 weeks later no call .. I ended up replacing it motor and fan blower for 335.00 that I got the parts from Amazon, the temperatures were in the 90° , I tried contacting with the owner, and found out Climate Heroes, are all franchises and they could careless about your comfort... Beware and get a second opinion. Made a appointment for my family's convenience so I could be there and my wife that works from home would not be disturbed. Got a note 2 hrs before the appointment window stating the tech was on his way. I sent a note back stating when I could be there and to not bother my wife because she is working. The tech ignored my request disturbed her anyway. She sent me a message a bit later that the tech told her something is clogged. When I got there he was done with all his diagnosis and presented a lot of nice pictures. He said the indoor coil was bad and leaking refrigerant. I asked about how to fix it and he stated he couldn't and called his boss. The boss told me it was not a good idea because it would be a efficiency issue and could not guaranty the performance. So we started the path to replace the whole system and had a "Program Manger" come to my house about a hour later. He started by telling me how good he was with AC systems and that my compressor was bad. Good news was it still had a warranty, and they would by back this warranty to save some money with a new system. So he looked and the system I had and started to tell me all the things the last installer did wrong and they would have to correct. $$$ Okay my head is spinning with all this information and all the things they tell are the problems. We sit down and he shows me a number on his tablet of almost 12k dollars. No detail or anything, literally just the number. Of course I was shocked, but before I could grasp that cost, the game started. Next thing I know he was doing me a favor and got the price down to 9K. I didn't not jump for joy so he called the owner and we talked a bit then he hung up made some calls and called back and wow, down to 7800 dollars now. He called it the deal of a lifetime but only good for 1 day. I have to admit we were going to do it but when they sent the quote it was not as they stated the day before. I called them out on it and go not more responses from anyone. Lost sleep over how I should proceed and thanked God that he made me so uncomfortable with this deal I walked away and called CoolAir Mechanical and got a repair done for 1800 dollars and it was not the coil or the compressor. read more

The tech that showed up on time within the scheduled window. Nice guy and what I was told was wrong by the other company turned out to not need attention. Poor communication.I think I asked all the right questions ahead of time-however once I received the service,I was told that they don't accept the type of home warranty I have.I explained to the technician that- that's night true that I spoke to someone a few weeks prior that said something differently.He undid the services and then set in his truck to ask questions with the customer service rep.
