I bought my home new in 1991. Fortunately, the only polybutylene problem I faced in 30 years was the outdoor supply line bursting within the slab around 2000 (covered by the class action lawsuit). Recently, I had another break of the poly in the slab running to the front exterior hose valve. Temporary remedy was to turn it off at the dedicated shut-off valve inside my house. No damage. In Fall, the cold water supply line to my kitchen sink slightly split, causing unseen leakage under cabinets and flooring until it eventually crossed through the wall into the garage, causing a damp spot I could notice. That was a major renovation in the kitchen. Not wanting to chance another break, I started researching "re-piping" companies for a turnkey solution. I checked with friends and neighbors for recommendations. I settled on a half dozen providers and began the learning/estimate process. Some were booked out farther than I wanted to wait. Others provided prices which seemed too high. After researching all on my list, I had new knowledge but was not comfortable with the companies I spoke with and/or their prices. I returned to my neighborhood's webpage and found a company which I had overlooked - Greenlee Plumbing. I first read ratings of customers online. Then I called to for an estimate. I got the sense I'd be in the right hands from my initial phone call. The price was in the range I needed it to be with a reasonable warranty. Yet they were booked more than two months ahead. My gut said I needed the work completed sooner. As I thanked Joni at Greenlee Plumbing for the estimate and explained my situation, she re-checked their schedule and found a spot that was awaiting final confirmation. She said she would let me know if the date became available. It did! So I was on the schedule that day. Ten days later, a crew of five came to re-pipe, opening walls and ceilings. They were diligent, careful and courteous. I also decided to replace the shower and tub valves, faucets, drain stoppers and toilets. I did separate research and shopping on these, purchasing the items and having them ready for installation. They completed everything in a day, and another crew came out to repair drywall and paint the repaired areas. They also did a great job, closely matching existing stipple patterns and wall and ceiling paint colors. I am very pleased Greenlee Plumbing's work throughout the entire project. I had many questions come up as I prepared, and Joni was quick to find answers for me. The crews arrived on time and did a good job of covering areas, minimizing sheetrock dust. I did ask them to come back and adjust two toilets that rocked slightly against the floor. A couple shims corrected the issue. I recommend Greenlee Plumbing to others needing such work, and feel confident that should I run into any issues with the work, they will take care of it. read more

I live in Marietta. Since moving into my house 2 years ago, I have had 4 or 5 pin-hole leaks in my copper pipes. Unfortunately, these leaks exist for a while before you realize it. Literally, the holes in the pipes are smaller than the diameter of a safety pin. Apparently, this is a common problem in my area due the minerals/chemicals in the water. After having 2 leaks in the last 2 weeks (and finding 2 inches of standing water behind a wall), I decided it was time to re-pipe the house. I live in a 2 story house, plus an unfinished basement). If I ever want to finish the basement, better to re-pipe while most of the pipes are exposed and accessible before putting a ceiling in, which would only make it more difficult and expensive. I found Greenlee plumbing based on a Google search about the merits of PEX piping. I called them up, got a quote over the phone, and they were out by the end of the week. They showed up exactly when they said they would (even 3 minutes early, and they texted me when they were on their way). They re-piped the entire house (4 bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, and outdoor spigots) in a single day (8 hours total). There was only 1 minor issue (with an O-ring, whatever that is), which they addressed immediately. The next day, the sheetrock team came out and had everything repaired by late afternoon, INCLUDING painting (which matches the existing color almost seamlessly...if you didn't know I'd had the work done, you'd never notice it). The entire team was professional and courteous. They laid drop cloths and put up plastic to ensure minimal mess and dust. And they did the work in a manner that minimized the damage to the walls. Special kudos to Tommy and Brad, who ran the project. Without hesitation or qualification, I would recommend Greenlee Plumbing to anyone who needs to have their house re-piped (or any other plumbing issue, for that matter). Their price was very fair. It was neither the lowest nor highest price, but theirs is the only one that included repair of the drywall and painting. I am EXTREMELY satisfied and grateful. Job well done! (Sorry this is so long, but it's a big job and an important investment in my home, so I think readers deserve a full accounting of just how good their work is.) read more

We had a slab leak in the garage and Greenlee came to investigate it. They recommended that we have a leak detection company come out and determine where it was actually coming from before just tearing into the floor where the water was coming out to be sure they found the actual leak and repaired it. After further discussion, we determined that the cost of the repair would be significant with no guarantee that another one wouldn't occur in the future based on the age of our pipes and home as well as the amount of piping under the foundation. We decided to do a re-pipe which removed all of the copper pipe from underneath the foundation and replaced the lines in our downstairs with Pex. This involved removing drywall in several rooms, replacing the pipes and repairing the drywall. Much to our surprise, this only took 2 days and the water supply was only off for about 6 hours. The drywall repair work was excellent with no evidence of it after completion. Yes, the process was a bit messy but not near as bad as we expected and they cleaned up after themselves. We had our cleaning service the day after completion do a deep clean and we are very happy with the result. We highly recommend Greenlee Plumbing and will call them again anytime we have a plumbing issue. read more

I had the polybutylene pipe entirely replaced in my house and yard. Also had some extra work done to upgrade the showers and replaced a toilet. On day 1, a crew of approximately 8 plumbers showed up at 8:30 am and completed the pipe replacement by 4:30pm. This is a 3.5 bath home. The plumbers worked together as a team and were all very nice guys. They kept the dust level to a minimum by using lots of plastic. The next day the drywall crew of 3 guys showed up at 9am and were done by 5pm. The plumbers had labeled the drywall cut-outs so they knew exactly where to put them back. They did a great job matching the paint. I'm not able to see any indication the the drywall was ever cut out. The outside plumbers discovered that the outside line between the meter and the house had already been replaced before I purchased the house. There was about 3 feet of polybutylene that had to be replaced that was connected to the house. They also added an outside cutoff valve. Because the outside work didn't require as much time as was previously estimated, they cut the bill approximately $500. Overall I am very happy with the price and quality of the work done by Greenlee Plumbing. read more

I highly recommend these folks for all your Plumbing needs. I called over the Holiday Labor Day weekend on Sat night and got a call back on Labor Day. Brian and Mario were onsite the next day which was Tuesday and had called 45 mins before the expected arrival time. The guys just did a wonderful job of replacing my water main line that came from the street into my home. The work was explained in advance, professionally completed and worksite was left cleaner than when they arrived, all while being respectful of my yard/landscape. When I spoke to them on my original call, they took the initiative to call the County who came out early the same day they were scheduled to complete the work and marked all of the gas/power and cable lines buried in my yard. Heck, I didn't even think to do this so that in itself was impressive. Remember this was all completed literally on the first day after a Holiday, could not have ask for better service and quality workmanship at a price that we felt was well worth the work that was completed, very happy with the overall experience and would highly recommend you consider GreenLee Plumbing before using someone else. read more

Thank you Greenlee Plumbing for amazing service and excellent customer service, at an affordable pricing. For anyone looking for a knowledgeable plumbing Serives and great customer service I definitely recommending Greenlee. We had a pipe to leak into my cement slab floor in our kitchen, plus plus we had them to do some hot water heater service work. John was very patient with my family and I as this was a very stressful. He helped us to make the best decision for fixing the problem at an affordable cost but excellent work. I wanted them to do additional stuff but he told me it was unnecessary which most plumbing services would not do which showed he was not just after the money. During this time I also recommended him to a friend who needed a new hot water heater and they immediately went out the next day and she is very happy with her service. Thank you Greenlee for being honest, having excellent service, and super customer service. Oh and not only did they repair the pipes but make sure the drywall was put back and pain it as if it were never removed. Hats off to great service in today's greed stricken world. We have used Greenlee for the past 4 plumbing repairs on our home and have been 100% satisfied each time. We opted to have 2 different water main leaks repaired a year apart. This past time Brian pulled up and we agreed it was time to replace the whole line. He was able to come as soon as we were available to schedule the job, arrived early, and completed it very promptly. Very considerate of our landscaping, inconvenience of water being shut off as little as possible, and the price was more than fair. We had a leaking kitchen sink drain pipe and a large commercial plumber gave us a quote to replace it that was THREE times what James charged us when we had the portion of the pipe that was leaking replaced. He also did the best he could to patch the cabinet, while other plumbers that have worked in the same area left a huge hole in our cabinets. They also use a great communication system via text message to let me know who is coming and when they are en route. Looking to have our water heater replaced and toilets installed and will call Greenlee for great service and prices that just can't be beat! read more

I was extremely impressed with the confidence of the upfront quote with the fact that the work would be done without having to view the home first. It was as if he knew my home. They crew showed up on time and started to work. I was amazed at how they found ever pipie and used precision skill to only remove sheetrock neccessary. Great care was used to cover floors and carpet with tarps and dust prevention. I expected this work to be a week job. to my amazement, I came back the next day to find all of the repairs completed and at painting stage. The third day I found the work totally painted and completed. They matched the paint for each room perfectly. I'm glad that I took pictures during the process. There is no indication that full house Polybutylene had been replaced with pex. My home is now to code. I am so grateful that a neighbor recommended their services. I now understand the term " turn key process". Greenlee Plumbing does it all at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them for anyone needing any plumbing projects. William C Bailey read more

These are my go to plumbers for all my plumbing needs. I have used these guys for years. I see the same plumbers each time they come to my house. They are VERY honest and dependable. They do great work and have always given me nothing but great things to say about this company and its workers. When I have needed them quickly, they have done what they could do to rearrange their schedule. When I unexpectedly ended up needing to replace some fixtures I had, it meant that the plumbers were going to have to come back another day and do the work after I had gotten the needed materials. Instead of charging me 2 "trip charge" visits, they held off and only charged me one trip charge visit when they came back the second time to actually install the parts. I've used them so many times, I know they are trustworthy. I live in Marietta and with lots of choices of plumbers to choose from near by, I still call these guys based up in Braselton. They are always willing to come and I find their prices quite reasonable. read more

Very happy with the customer service and finished product. I called three places to get my water supply line replaced in the front yard. A big name company out of Atlanta came and did a long drawn out sales pitch and quoted an outrageous price for 50 feet of replacement line. When I questioned the price that salesman went straight to a high pressure intimidation sales technique. The second company made an appointment to provide an estimate and never even showed up. Greenlee gave a quote over the phone after asking some basic questions and sent a plumber out to confirm the price the next day. I agreed to the estimate and the work was done a few days later. The plumber Brian explained everything that he had done and was one of the nicest tradesmen I have dealt with, God bless him. They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job, even spreading the mulch and replanting the grass that was disturbed. I have a couple other projects I want done and will certainly use Greenlee in the future. read more

Our first experience with Greenlee plumbing was an entire replumb of a home with poly pipe. They were recommended to us word-of-mouth from a local realtor. Their estimate came in lower than two other companies. Greg Greenlee was quick to respond to calls and emails. We were very pleased with the outcome and the sheet rock repair. Greg even followed up before our year warranty was done to remind us to let them know if anything needed attention. No one in the business does that! As a property manager, I have continued to use Greenlee as my go to plumbing company. They have fixed leaky toilets, sleuthed possible leaks, repaired hot water heater, and help to resolve an issue with a nervous tenant about a water leak. They have rapid response time, pleasant and honest employees and reasonable prices. The owner and his team are top notch in my opinion. Shout out to Greg Greenlee, John Chapelle, and the rest of their great team! Karen Britt Suwanee Property Associates read more

I had a leak a few years ago due to polybutylene pipes, which I had repaired by a different company. They left a huge hole in my wall which I had to repair myself. Recently I had been reading that with a house the age of mine, it's not IF but WHEN the poly will burst. I didn't want to risk the damage that comes with a burst pipe, so decided to replace them in my entire house. I researched recommendations then got several estimates. Greenlee Plumbing was the lowest quote, and also had excellent reviews.from previous customers. They completed the work in one day, then scheduled the drywall repair for the next day. Once completed, you couldn't even see where the repairs were made. I had one small issue I needed addressed, and they immediately came back out and fixed it to perfection, no questions asked. I highly recommend Greenlee Plumbing, and will be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future. read more

Wow! Fantastic job!!! Awesome service the very day called. Gary was great on the phone not making any promises but said he would do his best to get a crew out to the house if possible when they finished their scheduled job. This was on a Friday and when the phone call came that a crew had finished in Stone Mountain and would stop by on their way home, we were thrilled. The guys got here and worked until finished way into the evening. Our water line to the house had started leaking at the house. The crew ran a new line from the meter and entered the house at a more reasonable area than the builder who had placed it under a brick front porch across the driveway. Could not have been more satisfied on service and cost. I do not know of many who would have given up a Friday night to play in the dirt. Oh did I mention that they were 1/3rd the cost of another Plumber with a fancy name??? read more

Through word of mouth we had our entire plumbing system replaced 4 years ago by Greenlee Plumbing. Needless to say we were pleased with the service. Last night we noticed there was water leaked in our yard at the water meter. Brian answered the call promptly and said Gary will contact us about the repair. Gary called back in 5 mins with a quote and that they can do the work tomorrow. Next day service! You could not ask for more when you have no water. Brian came and fixed the leaks as scheduled ( actually he came early). There was NO CHARGE, Greenlee Plumbing honored their warranty. Brian is very skilled and professional. It was a very hot day over 80 degrees. Brian left our yard looking in perfect condition. Kudos to Greenlee Plumbing for your excellent service , your honesty and integrity. You will be our go to company for any plumbing needs. read more

My copper pipes were getting pinhole leaks; second time in 1 year. So before I had my insurance company repair the water damage, I decided to have my house re-piped. After researching this problem and companies to re-pipe my house, I found Greenlee Plumbing. Shortly after contacting them, I received an estimate which I thought was high but fair. We scheduled the work and they arrived on time; re-piped in a day and sheetrock patches & painting the next day. After they were done, I walked through their work and noted a few things that needed correction. I contacted Greenlee Plumbing and they sent crews to address and resolve the issues I found within 2 days. BTW, I would have given them 5 stars, but I don't give ANYONE 5 stars for ANYTHING. So for this rating, they were very professional and if I needed to use them again, I would. read more

Steve and another man came to replace our broken water heater. They picked up the one we had bought from Home Depot. Once they saw that our old water heater was still under warranty, they removed it and took it to exchange for a new one from the place we had purchased it from previously. They also returned the one we had purchased from Home Depot for us, so they saved us a bundle! These guys are awesome! They were HONEST, which is something you don't find much anymore! They went OUT OF THEIR WAY to help us and did all the picking up and returning of the water heaters for us! WOW! What a blessing!! We were more than pleased with the work they did and impressed with their honesty and customer service! I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!! :) I will use them for all my plumbing needs in the future!! Thanks guys!! read more

We have had so many leak problems recently, that we decided to do a copper repiping for our house. I went on Angie's list and Greenlee was one of the companies that got back to me asap. I wanted a company that could do the drywall, also. Greenlee gave me an estimate over the phone. I live out of state, and he was able to give me the estimate just by my description of the property. My sisters were pleased with the prompt service. The men worked all day, and Greenlee sent a good size crew to get the job done. Drywall came the next day, and the workers did an amazing job. The paint was even matched! The house was left clean. Excellent service, excellent communication, and a very fair price. I would definitely use them again, and I would have no problems referring this company to family and friends. read more
