My AC went out on July 2nd, they came out July 3rd and told us they would be there to install on July 9th. I received a text and email confirmation. At 2pm on the 9th I called to find out when they were coming to install and the owner said that they were coming Thursday and had no idea why I received a confirmation beyond him telling me as well he was coming that day. When they arrived they displayed no customer service in assuring that I knew they were on my property or their game plan how they were going to get the unit place. The owner went to remove the unit from his trailer and did not properly unchain the unit causing it to fall off the skid steer and dent it. They also did not remove the tracks on the bottom so it would have a properly displacement of weight on the new pad. After speaking to the owner earlier that week I found him to be condescending and rude. He talks over me the entire time I tried to talk and ask questions so I can be prepared for his arrival. During installation my husband and I decided it to be best if he looked at it when he got home from work and dealt with him rather than me. When he came home we found not only the unit dented, but trash everywhere, sloppy installation, the unit not leveled, gaps under the damaged pad, and no p-trap installed on the drain but yet placed so that the runoff would erode the unit over time. They sent the owners son out to fix it twice. We told him to have his dad call so that we can discuss the damage. I refused to approve payment until that discussion. When he finally called, again condescending and talked over me. He said the unit was not damaged that it worked. I said you know what why don't you call my husband and you all discuss this, I don't appreciate not getting a chance to say what I have to say. To which he said he's going to put a lien on my house. I am fully prepared to release the funds but not for a dented unit. If you purchased a brand new truck and the dealer dented it, would you still take it because it still works? Horrible company, disrespectful towards women, not at all good communicators and display very poor workmanship.

They went out on 8/27/21, checked the unit, and said that the grills upstairs were closed and that was the only issue. They opened the grills and said that the AC was fixed. A week after my mother's close date, two weeks after Kovack went out to the property, the AC completely shut off. We had a different company, Elite Comfort Services, come to inspect as well as had Kovack go back out. Elite found damaged external wires, spliced wires at the unit, missing disconnect boxes, and a few items that were not up to code. The second time Kovack went out, they only gave us a report for the damaged external wires. Again, not a thorough inspection. How did they not see the damaged/spliced external wires the first time? Why did they not report the damaged wires to the previous owner for repair? Isn't is suspicious that the AC was not working, but opening the grills fixed it? They informed me on the phone that they did not conduct a full inspection the first time because they were not told to do so by the previous owner, but then turned around and told my mother's agent that they conducted a full inspection and nothing was wrong. So which is it? Was a full inspection conducted or not? If so, where is the report? This was supposed to be fixed before my mother's close date, and because Kovack did not do their job correctly my mother had to pay out of pocket for the repairs. We went with Elite Comfort Solutions because they conducted a full inspection and were very informative and knowledgeable. We did not trust Kovack to complete the job correctly and expected for Kovack to find additional items that needed to be addressed. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

I'm happy to say that they did a great job! Ernest the technician was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. He diagnosed the problem and luckily he had the part with him and fixed it immediately. She was so friendly and helpful and made me feel secure asking a lot of questions. The second impression Allgood United Services made was by sending Marcus their technician to my house. Marcus was very professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable and I immediately knew that I had made the right decision to hire Allgood United Services. The final interaction was the install date when Marcus, Pierce, and Tanner came to my house, introduced themselves and were so respectful of my home and polite to me. I felt completely safe and confident having them in my home and knew that they were doing the best job for my house. I have been in the service industry for 32 plus years. I owned my own business and supported myself based on the work that I promised and produced. So, I am very in tune to great service and sincere quality and care by staff and employees. All four of these individuals that I had contact with, treated the business like it was their own and took pride in the work and final product. I called AllGood Unified services because my AC stoped working. This is new construction home 2…read moreyears old. They scheduled me and in about few days technician showed up and installed updated "hard start" kit on my outside AC unit. Documents show AC unit is under warranty for 5 years, however I was billed by Allgood Unified 200$. After calling and explaining to customer service they agreed that it was under warranty and demanded that I pay labor and trip fee of 140$. After asking for explanation why factory unit needed updated part and why is it not covered by warranty, they could not give me a reason other than "parts go out". Person on the phone was upset after I was concerned as to why is warranty not covering defect after only 2 years of light use. Technician did do his job but Allgood Unified charged me for repair that should have been under warranty. I did not get a reason on why parts simply could not be replaced with another new part. They claimed manufacturer was not able to refund them for the part (or trip fee they charged me) and I was not able to find Allgood factory phone number or customer service info to Allgood AC unit. I do not recommend this business.

That evaluation was part of several issues that led me to run away from a money-trap property. Eventually, I found a home to purchase and have used Kennon for HVAC work since. My AC decided it was time for a stunt in the middle of the hottest week of the summer on July 3rd. Kennon was running holiday hours and staff for the weekend, not surprisingly, but they still managed to work me in and quickly replaced the capacitor. Christopher was quick and very kind.

After receiving an extremely disappointing estimate from our Heating and Air Service Provider, I…read morecontacted Dependable where I spoke to Eric who offered to come out at no charge and provide an estimate. His estimate was half of the other guys. He closed the valves on my AC unit so we wouldn't leak any more refrigerant so he would have to refill as much. The other company quoted 12 pounds and Eric only ended up adding 4 pounds. Eric completed the replacement, and testing if the new evaporator coil, cleaned up after himself all in about 3 hours. Needless to say, Dependable is now our Service Provider. Their annual service includes 2 inspections with cleaning and filter replacement. Highly recommend this family owned business.

Found these guys via a Reddit discussion with several people saying they were very honest. This was exactly my experience. They pointed out exactly what had caused the issues and helped me get every possible part covered under warranty which ended up saving me around $1100. They took their time to explain every detail of what was wrong and what needed to be done so that it was certain I understood everything. Work was completed the very next day after the part arrived and took maybe an hour. Calling these guy for every future HVAC need, without hesitation.

I had 3 estimates for a furnace replacement and Ward was the best price of all 3, which was great!…read moreHe was nice, seemed knowledgeable, and gave me confidence that he would do a good job. We had some issues with the condensation line immediately after the install took place, which he promptly came out to fix. He said the newer furnace puts out more condensation than the old one, so it would be prone to freezing unless he ran the line elsewhere. First up, he fixed it by cutting it and leaving it disconnected in the crawlspace (see picture). Second up, he drilled a hole in my sewage line and tucked it in there (see picture). He finally reconnected it how it was at first and then said there's nothing else he could do. I called two other companies to give me an estimate on solutions and they independently said that the condensation line was the least of my concerns and the install was done very poorly. The exhaust line was sloped incorrectly and leaking (see pictures). The furnace itself also was not level, so the incorrect slope meant the unit was holding water and repeatedly short-cycling. He also failed to recommend an appropriately sized plenum for the unit, and patched the difference with scraps and tape (see picture). I had to spend over $2,000 just to fix his work. I reached out to Ward to make it right and he would not respond, so I decided to leave this review. In summary, he did a very poor job, has stopped answering calls and texts, and is unwilling to make it right.
