When I contacted Universal Nissan and told them where we wanted to be on price they asked if we could come into the dealership that day if they could get to our dollar amount and I said yes, they came back within minutes at only $100 above what we wanted to pay out the door. We drove to Orlando the next day and met with Albert Martinez who was awesome. Albert had our truck waiting at the front entrance for us, all shinny and ready to go. We were in and out within an hour, all with no surprises and no hidden fees, the price that they quoted us on the phone was the price that we paid. We have bought dozens of vehicles in our life time and this was the smoothest transaction by far. On a side note, one of the other dealerships was so shocked by the price that we got from Universal Nissan that she said she was going to try and find the dealership and buy all their cars and put them on her lot. Bottom line, if you need a new Nissan do yourself a favor and call Universal Nissan and ask for Albert, you won't be disappointed .

It felt like he wasn't in the mood to work or sell a car. We went over the numbers and discussed which vehicles I would qualify for and likely be approved to finance. I picked out the vehicle I wanted and went back inside while they contacted the bank for approval. When Daniel returned, he told me I was approved with a reasonable down payment. By the time everything was finalized, it was late in the day and my bank had already closed, so I couldn't get the money until the next day. I returned on 7/29/26 with the amount I had been told I needed for the down payment. However, another salesman came to speak with me and suddenly told me I would need an additional $2,500 on top of what I had been quoted the day before. I was then told that I had never been approved for the original amount. I knew that wasn't true because I had seen the paperwork showing the calculated down payment. When I pointed that out, all I got were more excuses and conflicting information. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even a dog! My experience was dishonest, misleading, and a complete waste of my time.

In less than 3 years i went through 2 transmission replacement. 2 turbos booster because they didn't install the first replacement correctly. Now a month after the turbo replacement I have do repair for the valve cover and the oil fan to reseal, that repair was denied by the extended warranty. First of all, i use to get my car fixed at CarMax Orlando and realized that they don't hire competent mechanics that it why the repairs fail. Also, they don't use new part but remanufactured parts, that is also another problem. I ended up going to the dealership when my car stays about a week before maxcare send an inspector, in the meanwhile they did not give ne e loaner or a rental, so I had to cover my own transportation. 7 days later the inspector denied the dealership claim. Now I have to pay over $1000 out of pocket . Do yourself a favor stay away from CarMax and Max care their extended warranty.
