Wayside Body shop provides excellent service and quality! Staff is nice and friendly. I highly recommend them! My car had been in their shop for quite some time. They looked at the damage and immediately send it to a Honda dealership when there was damage they couldn't fix. When my vehicle was finally fixed, they even let it stay there until I could afford to get it home. I have used for years and will continue to do so. read more

Our community sustained a tornado this year in which two of our vehicles were damaged. Our insurance company recommended Wayside. The experience with this body shop wasn't good. Both vehicles took several weeks to have body shop repairs. That's probably normal. But the quality of repairs was inferior. One vehicle was returned with all manufacturer emblems removed & not replaced. They were not damaged post tornado. What happened to them? Very strange. Both vehicles later were found to need additional work due to the body shop reassembly process. Our mechanic was able to take care that. Living through a EF-3 tornado was bad enough but having to deal with this kind of business was very disheartening. read more

I never would have guessed my family and I were going to be stranded at Wayside Body Shop in Denton, Maryland. But we were. I am currently writing this at 9pm, driving home from the beach with my family, with a tire freshly patched by the most amazing employee (I wish I knew his name but we didn't get a chance to exchange information). He went above and beyond to help us patch our quickly-deflating tire that was not going to last us our 80-mile journey back home, all on a Tuesday night way past his regular working hours. I got into a minor car accident and i had to bring my car here bc it was one of the few places covered by my insurance company, at first there were no issues until after a month of having my car, they were supposed to be done, so i called up there to check on it. They told me that there some minor inconveniences and that my car should be done in another week, alright no big deal i've already waited a month, what's one more week? Boy was i wrong, it took them another two whole months of telling me that my car would be done in another week or two, multiple times. Honestly, the only reason i think that they finally finished it is because i got them to pay for a rental car out of pocket, if that wasn't the case who knows how much longer they would've had my car. This shop claimed they had the part available for my car even though they did not have it (replacement door). This happened for about three weeks before they admitted that the part was not coming in. Perhaps worse than that, they claimed that my insurance canceled the ticket and it would take a week or more to work with the insurance company again, but when I talked to the insurance company, they clarified that the shop can submit new information immediately, without a wait. After the repair was finally "complete," the door lock didn't work at all. I had to go through the driver's side door to unlock the passenger side. They wanted me to wait to have that repaired too, so I took it to another shop and had it fixed immediately. read more

We've used this shop multiple times with great results. It's close to us and our insurance handles things with them directly. It's also nice that you can leave the rental car there with Wayside after you pick your finished car up. Our car has had front end and side work done you can't even tell anything has happened. The paint finish looks good and the parts match the car. When we call to get updates they give them to us with no problem. Sometimes the info is a little delayed but our car still gets done in a timely matter. We love that the insurance works with wayside and we paid our low deductible. The only small "complaint" we would be that they mentioned they would detail the car and it kind of looked a quick wash but there was dust still in the car from sanding and some residue leftover on the outside windshield and front end. Other than that we'd definitely recommend this shop if you get into an accident or need any body work/paint done. read more

First estimate took months, we had to call and they emailed to us and we sent to insurance! RV towed to Wayside May 18th for a 10 day repair, May 29th still no touched! Called spoke to tech he said they would be starting that afternoon to removed decals and would go in bay on Monday June 1st he would email updates. June 8th reached out to him for updates the only thing they had done was remove decals. Called and spoke with Manager(Ray) he says there is more to it then the original estimate "we did estimate by photos" (Wow how is this my fault!!) He proceeds to say they are 2 months out on work. Then says he is washing his hands of this job and send it back to the RV repair shop that recommended and delivered it to them. None of the timelines were discussed with us and when more damage was found they didn't contact us until we reached out. Oh and they were paid by insurance in full. Very disappointed read more

Took my car here for some minor bodywork . They are quick and efficient in setting up appointment. Office staff is very polite and professional. We have an RV camper that needed some collision and warranty repair work done. We shopped all over the area going as far as Harrisburg, PA for a reliable and REASONABLE estimate. Wayside provided what we were looking for. Not only are they friendly and kept us informed as the work progressed, the work they did was outstanding. You would never know there was ever any damage to the unit especially given the fact that they had to match paint. In addition, they stored our unit while waiting for parts, which another dealer was not willing to do, which to us was a tremendous benefit since we live an hour away.
