From the first contact with the front office team to engagement with the technicians and everyone in between, we were treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism. Danny and his team were able to explain everything at a level of detail for us to understand and took the time to help us accurately capture pictures and evidence to provide our insurance company to build/defend our case.  In October of 2023 we were in an accident that was not our fault. We chose to go through our insurance company and let them deal with the at fault driver's insurance. We trusted our insurance company's recommended/preferred body shop located in Stevensville MD. After almost three months, our vehicle was returned to us in early-January of 2024.  In September 2024 we visited a local garage because our vehicle was riding rough and the alignment seemed to be off. The garage told us our tires were cupping and balanced the alignment but it was still not riding correctly. We then realized the front bumper was starting to detach. It was recommended that we find a body shop to see if they could re-attach. Based on a family recommendation, we took our vehicle to JBS Collision Center in Chester, MD. JBS conducted an initial review and called us with significant concerns as to the safety of continuing to drive the vehicle. We were invited into the garage to discuss in-person. We took the paperwork from the previous garage with us to the meeting. JBS team walked us through what they could see with just the bumper removed which included exposed wiring wrapped in painter's tape, suspension welding coming apart, bent metal not correctly straightened/replaced, after-market parts used instead of OEM, installation of a used axle, parts billed but not actually replaced, and significant overspray. With the documentation provided, our insurance company had to conduct a new review and asked JBS to continue digging into our problem. When the technician took measurements, it was determined our vehicle was twisted almost 20 millimeters off center which is why it was not riding correctly. After riding around in our vehicle for almost a year our insurance company determined our vehicle was a total loss. JBS customer service was outstanding, as was their communication whether in person, via phone or email. We've learned quite a bit from this process and one of those lessons centers around how insurance companies recommend body shops that do subpar work to keep their costs down. The alternative would be to work with professionals like JBS to ensure a vehicle is repaired correctly. Our family was placed back in a vehicle whose integrity was significantly compromised. JBS is the shop that identified this and worked closely with our insurance company, and the other repair shop, to bring this to conclusion for us - one that had our interest and more importantly our safety in mind. I hope no one has to go through this, but accidents happen, so if that should be your fate, tell your insurance company you want Danny and his team at JBS to repair your vehicle. Note, pictures are of damage found by JBS that was supposedly fixed by another shop.

    My 2022 Lexus GX 460 was hit by some jerk in a parking lot and didn't leave a note, so I had to…read morefile with insurance as hit and run. I had used JBS years before on a prior Lexus and the dealer highly referred them again. Very glad I went there again. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and honest. I had read up on their website about how insurance companies deal with claims and don't fully reimburse if they don't agree with estimate compiled by JBS. When I got there to do an estimate, they told me again in person and were very clear about what would happen and what my estimated "overage" would be. FYI, they will only use OEM parts and they do it the right way, not the cheap or convenient way. I picked up my car after 5 weeks and it looks absolutely brand new. The new bumper and all of the repairs to the quarter panel and rear door are undetectable. They were right on point as to how much above insurance I had to pay out of pocket from the beginning of the process. No hidden fees or any kind of bait and switch. I very much like no surprises when it comes to billing. They were worth every penny of what the insurance company paid them, as well as the charge I paid above insurance. I would never trust my car with any other shop. Highly recommend!!!
