This place was recommended by a friend, but honestly I wouldn't do that to a friend. I took my car to Auto Collision Service to be repaired after someone hit my car (their fault) and the work was being paid %100 by their insurance company. Perhaps that is why it didn't turn out well at all. No excuse though. The shop had my car for 4.5 days -- they even called on the 4th day to say they thought the repaint on the fender shouldn't be so white. So I thought it would be all good when I picked it up late on a Friday afternoon. At the shop, honestly, it looked OK. Must have been the light, because once I got home I could see that the fender that they had repainted was white compared to the rest of the car which is a three-layer pearl (e.g., not white). After even closer inspection, you can see that the replaced fender and the rest of the side of the car don't match at all in paint. It's horrible. On top of all that, there are scratches on my car that were never there. The two companies that take care of my mechanical and signage also noticed the scratches as they know my car rather well. As the deeper inspection continued, I discovered white fingerprints (from paint or something) on the INSIDE of my car -- passenger door, dashboard, and glove compartment. And inside the glove compartment the white fingerprints were on a CD case that I never listen to which somehow ended up in my stereo. Obviously someone in their shop felt it was OK to go into a customer's car, rummage through their stuff, and listen to the car stereo while it was in the shop! If I wasn't moving to the west coast a few days after I picked up the car, I would have taken on the owner of the business to make everything right and then some. Instead, I'm writing reviews and have notified everyone in the Georgetown Delaware area including the Chamber of Commerce of this horrible and wretched business. Don't take your car to them. Anything is better than this place. read more
