Ok, I HAVE, HAVE, HAVE to update, now that our baby is installed and running! One thing about…read moreFerrari Pools, Patios and Spas - is that Pools and Spas is not their primary "thing" - their "thing" is the patios. But anything that goes into making a patio spectacular becomes their "thing". We weren't in the market for a "patio" - quite yet. What we were in the market for was a plunge pool. Until we visited a home show, and we priced out pools - and just when we were about to "bite the bullet", a well known company in the North Shore, that ONLY does spas and spa pools, gave us a really good breakdown on how a spa pool would fit our needs/lifestyle at a fraction of the cost of a pool. We embarked on doing research. LOTS of research (we currently own a non heated pool, and the maintenance hasn't been a big deal, so we KNEW what we would get ourselves in to... but $150K pricetag?! um, uh...). Wound up at NES (and you've read my review/experience on that, and subsequently the manager boohooing thinking we were "indoctrinated" by them only to ditch them... nope, they were overpriced and only decided to make a deal when they realized they lost the sale... but I digress). SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Off we go to Ferrari, and got a really, really wonderful cost/benefit analysis on pools (did I mention they do pools?!) and our life style. Actually, they sell few spa's, because patios are #1 and pools #2. Mark and the ENTIRE crew are PHENOMENAL. Ordering, pricing, installation, post installation training and service. PHENOMENAL! The installer tea are a hilarious group of hard working and upbeat professionals. Made everything look so easy. Mike Hunter did the follow up and guided us through all the features. A couple of hours later, we were in getting hydrotherapied and celebrating life! We did our homework - extensive. They offer value, a VERY competitive price withouth any hassle and amazing service! SO HAPPY!

On 3/10/25 I submitted a repair request online for my Sundance spa. The next day I received a call…read morefrom the service department, and they explained in order for me to get on their schedule I'd have to pay a deposit of $329. Although it seems like a lot of money, I understand the reasons behind collecting a deposit (customers unexpectedly cancelling appointments, technician time to travel and diagnose issues, etc.). I paid the deposit and we confirmed the next available appointment was 3/20/25. On 3/14/25 I got an email (no phone call) telling me "Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to complete your spa service on 3/20/25. Instead, we will be there 3/25/25". I was so frustrated and disappointed they had picked a new date without discussing it with me and that it was 5 days later. I discussed the issue with the service department, they apologized and said that was the earliest date. There was nothing more they could do. On 3/25/25, the day of my appointment, I get a voice message that said they needed to cancel the appointment and reschedule for 3/26/25. Because I have a fenced in yard with dogs I took the day off of work to be here. I'm beyond frustrated with NE Spas. Conveniently they took my money in less than 24hours but they have no problem rescheduling my appointments for 16 days. By the way their policy is no monetary refunds just store credit. So that's not even an option. I feel trapped because they have my money and left me no other option but to accept their dates.

I gave her my invoice number. I'll talk to them. Eventually the next week they came. Came and went quickly leaving the cover in a ball on the side of the pool. The pool was a mess. After opening my pool which did not include an initial vacuuming the pool is unusable. Several problems developed as the pool was left filled with debris. The the cover was removed and debris was dumped into it. I called about this. I was told wit was my responsibility to clear the cover off. When I booked the opening I asked if I had to do anything. The woman said no. My calls for help were not met. I was told no one could come to look at it for at least a month, a month !!! Totally unacceptable. I sent an email regarding my dissatisfaction with the situation to them. Perhaps the owner Steve never saw it. I was happy with his service. I purchased the new sand filter at his advice last year. Despite the fact that I bought this expensive lovely filter from Underwater Pool Masters less than a year ago I can't get them to service it now that it's not working. No one ever got back to me. They did however cash the $300 + check for it.

Pool companies (those selling and those servicing/installing) are bombarded with requests, P. Beach was the third installation company that I spoke with and the only company that returned my call. Johanna in the office is extremely helpful with providing updates and tries to accommodate all of your requests (just be reasonable). Some things to remember: 1 - This is a crazy time to have a pool installed with the start of summer and the pandemic - you cannot expect to order a pool and have it installed tomorrow. 2 - There is quite a delay in the product delivery time/availability and the time available for installation. 3 - Be flexible - delays happen with any contractor - jobs run over, just because you are scheduled one day does not mean they are going to leave someone else's job 90% done just to keep your originally scheduled day (they are going to finish one job to 100% before moving on to the next, you would want the same). Also - people get sick/equipment breaks down/ there are other emergencies that arise. 4 - Be prepared for the installation - have the location clearly marked, provide a trash bin for any trash (otherwise trash winds up inside the cardboard boxes that will need to be sorted before you can take to recycling). Know what you are going to do with all of the dirt removed in the process of leveling out the ground. 5 - Provide a cooler with water/ice - not required - but on a hot day it's a nice gesture. 6 - Anticipate the crew to be there for a long day - my house was 90 minutes from their location - coming back for a 2nd day to finish the job wasn't realistic - it took a crew of 5 over 8 hours to put up my 18x33 ft pool.
