Motorhome door lock jammed and Good Sam motor club sent Jeff with Wayne's lock out. We were quite a ways out from placerville camping on the river. He arrived in less than an hour and picked the jammed lock in a couple of minutes. He then made a key for the jammed lock (I had no key) in another 5 minutes and when I mentioned that I only had one motor key he told me he would make me one, just drive by his shop in town, no charge. His work was amazing because i had already had two lock smiths work on making a key for that jammed lock on two occasions and after hours of work neither one was able to make one. read more

Called Wayne's Saturday morning to repair a Weiser Door lock which is not made anymore. I was worried I would have to replace all the door locks and hardware throughout the house. Wayne's showed up promptly and identified the problem area of the Weiser, found a part in his truck made by another manufacturer and drilled and cut it to make it work in my Weiser Lock. The door works even better than when it was new. If you want fast, prompt service, reasonable prices, I would not hesitate to recommend Wayne's. read more

Huge shoutout to Tony from Wayne's locksmith in placerville. I locked my keys in my car at work in Camino, he just so happened to be driving by and saw me out there in the rain with a coat hanger trying to get in, so he swung in and got my car unlocked in no time! I tried to buy a safe from tony he said he would call me back on Monday he never called me back I called him back on wendsday Jeff answered the phone he told me tony would call me back in 15 minutes he never called again I called him back right before they closed he said he was the only one in the shop and did not have time I gave him one more chance I picked the safe I wanted and he gave me a price and he told me he would call me on Thursday with the price and down payment he did not call again I called him just as they were going to close and again he said he was the only one in the shop and did not have time if they don't have time for someone who is going to spend 2,300.00 good luck to anyone else on top of that tony did not even want to put my safe upstairs because he was afraid he would damage my stairs they must not be very good at what they do could you imagine if movers were afraid to move furniture up stairs also they say on there website they delivered free to anywhere in elderado county when I told them where I lived in elderado county they said it would be 150.00 more that is false advertising any way I found another safe company paid I little more but customer service is great and that is what brings people back . read more

I highly recommend this company. They have been to my residence on 3 occasions all with above average service. I originally called them out to rekey 3 locks I purchased from Home Depot which were homeowner rekeyable locks. They advised me that these particular locks were infamously known for bad tumblers and they suggested I replace them. I had them go ahead with the rekey and not replacements. At least 6 months later the front door deadbolt would not work from the inside but was ok from the outdoors. I had them come back out. I purchased this older home last spring and the former homeowners must have changed the original parts as the strikes were different, the deadbolt, and the door handle all different manufacturers over time. The current deadbolt was a smidge toward the hinges leaving a gape in the hole circumference and wasn't a good look but was functional until the tumbler failed. The owner, Jeff came out with a trainee and discovered the hole in the door wasn't properly centered for the bolt mechanism and spent considerably more time to make it right. This demonstrates the culture of the company led by the owner as to pride in their work. Not only was it important to to fix it functionally but he also wanted to correct it esthetically. My lock now looks great and operates perfectly. Thanks Wayne's Locksmith for taking pride in your work and fixing the former homeowner aftermarket mistakes. Great job! read more
