Stoped by here at this store to purchase a Corbin 1000AB key blank only. The lady that works the store front was very nice and polite. I informed her that I was looking to purchase a key blank only. (Uncut key) She informed me that she was not sure if they could sell me just the key blank by itself. She made a phone call to someone asking if that's ok. They informed her they don't allow this. And that if so I'd have to buy bulk(I suppose a box of 50). Iv purchased key blanks from many locksmith companies (in and out of the area)before....never had a issue. It's not a restricted key. Great work! My Andersen door stuck in the locked position and I couldn't open it. Folsom Lock & Security was able to get a locksmith to my address within 30 minutes. Josh was able to get the door open and confirmed that the multipoint locking mechanism would need to be replaced. He found a great solution so that I could still use the door and secure it with the deadbolt while I wait for the replacement locking mechanism from Andersen. read more

I have used this business twice. The first time I had moved into a new house that has a wall safe that was open but didn't have a combination. They were able to figure out the combination. The second time I needed a new door knob installed. It was a small job that was completed quickly. Both times I was charged a fair price and the service was performed on time. read more

Didn't even want to give them one star.... Came in for simple car key replacement. First , the key was not even cut correctly making it unable to unlock or start my car....so we Uber back. Then they said they programmed it to my car ..didn't work either... Costed a couple hundred bucks and they took 30 bucks off after our third visit.. It's been almost two months and the key completely broke again. When I called, obviously irritated, I was met with attitude and the owner telling me to calm down and "raise my voice " or he'll hang up on me??? I asked if there was anything they could do to help as we already spent close to 300 bucks and he said no. Horrible service horrible people. read more

Feel I was price gouged simply because they could. Brought in my own key blanks that I had already purchased elsewhere. Needed two keys cut, NOT programmed or chipped or anything...just two keys cut. The girl told me it would be $75 per key to cut and swap the buttons over (which is 1 small screw). I explained I will swap the buttons myself and she replies "well it will still be $75...because the machine uses "lasers" ." I reluctantly paid the ridiculous price for 1 key and it won't even go into the ignition. Not a pleasant experience. read more

Not a good experience. When Robert was unable to find a replacement or repair my truck tailgate lock returned to me in an envelope of pieces. Not cool! I returned to the shop and requested it be reassembled so I might return it. Then waited two days when I had to check back. No notice. When returned to the shop it was reassembled, but some parts missing. Crucial screws that I had to find at Lowes in order to exchange the unit. This all took more than 3 weeks with their closed for Covid sign and emergency not available and no decent counter help. If you are thinking about this business as a solution, save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. Do not confuse this place with the old Folsom and Lock Natoma. My mistake! One good thing came out of it, another customer suggested going to Paul's Safe and Lock in Roseville. Quick turn around and excellent service and repair. Not close to Folsom, but close to Galeria, so work it in with a little shopping and enjoy excellent service from a professional Locksmith instead. read more

Robert is the best! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My key broke when I was trying to open my door and I was then locked out of my house. We called Folsom Lock and Security and Robert showed up within 15min. Not only was he able to make me a new key (plus 2 additional keys) and get me back into my house, he also fixed our two locks that had been done incorrectly by another locksmith. Our door locks now work GREAT!! My husband and I could not be more grateful for Roberts help! Great costumer service and a reasonable price.
