She really took the time to help us sift through all the different tiles the showroom had to offer. The service was much better than any of my experiences at big box home improvement stores. Our tile was special order, so they took down our number and stated they would call us when it came in. They never called, and we had to follow up with them. The prices here are definitely much higher than you would pay anywhere else. As far as quality goes, I think it really depends on what you are looking for. Our order was a simple backsplash type tile, which I'm sure you could basically get the identical type quality at Home Depot. They have A LOT more to choose from here and much better service!

We saw the sign while driving by on Route 46 for this new tile store and stopped in out of curiousity. The knowledge and helpfulness of the salespeople at this particular store was phenomenol, and beyond compare with all of the other places we had been to. The quality, selection, and the prices also seemed exceptional compared to the many places we had looked in previously. With the very helpful salespeople at this place, we were finally able to decide on tiles that fit what we were looking for, at a great price, with confidence in the quality. I don't usually write reviews, but our experience here was that good. Highly highly recommended to anyone who doesn't know what tiles they're looking for, as well as anyone who does know what they want, and who wants to make sure they're getting good quality at a good price, with advice from people who work here who seem to really know their stuff

I was impressed with their service and selection and had no idea when I walked in what was the appropriate tile needed for floor and walls in a bathroom. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and explained the different types of tiles and helped me find selections that matched my vision. The showroom is huge with an extensive selection which makes it overwhelming but with Berna's help I was in and out within the hour. The delivery charge was reasonable and ability to schedule as needed. It's a little hard to find (around the back of another business) but well worth finding this place. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality tiles and expert assistance for their home projects. Thank you Tile Stone Depot and Berna!

I'm on my third big project using supplies from Standard Tile. This wide-open store has displays…read morethat let you browse floor tiles by pulling out enormous flat drawers, and check out wall tiles on huge walls that roll back and forth. Both are big improvements on the system some places use, basically big heavy boards with just a couple of pieces on each, all jammed together in a standing rack. The selection at the East Hanover store is large but thanks to that careful display construction it didn't feel overwhelming to me. Joey A. was a big help with finding selections, suggesting size and color options, giving me quotes in email and correcting a box of broken decorative pieces. Also threw me a small discount, thanks man. As with every tile store I've found, only grout is in stock locally, every other d*mn thing has to come from far away and takes 1-2 weeks. Return policy here on non-special orders is full boxes within 15 days. Which of course is impossible, construction schedules never work out that neatly. Anyhow if you have a full box you should keep that ish for repairs when something goes south three years later. Basically ya gotta treat all sales here as final, don't kid yourself otherwise. These guys also will arrange for shower doors and glass panels, all strictly list price and boy those prices are daunting.

I was just driving home when this Blue Standard Tile Van pulls up so close I can't see the front the vehicle, then proceeds to ride my bumper to a red light where there are lot of cars in front of me. The light turns green but it is not a long light so turns yellow before I am close enough to turn and again the van is super close to my bumper and then he proceeds to swerve into the right lane and make a left through a VERY RED RED LIGHT! He is so close to my bumper that he almost hits the back end of my car and then makes the left turn so sharp he almost hits the front of my car. I arrive home shaken as was my child. I call the store to let them know, the manager or owner, not sure who as they would not provide a name, gets on the phone and just says hello with an attitude. I explain that his driver just almost hit me twice on River Road and then ran a red light onto Route 10. He goes oh, then silence and then finally asks if I am okay. I explain that my child was shaken up and it was very dangerous and try to explain the whole situation but he cuts me off and tells me he has listened to enough of my rant. Then in a very "I don't really care" voice says I said I'm sorry which he never did and then said he would speak to them. He was so rude, condescending and unconcerned it was appalling. I can only imagine how they treat you if you have an issue with their products or service. There are plenty of other tile places, I would suggest one of those that actual cares about other people.

As we all know, things happen and sometimes things just happen out of our control so I liked that assurance. Plus I had read about their quality and I liked what I saw. I don't believe you need to get custom everything but I also don't believe in buying the cheapest option available to you. This seemed like the perfect compromise. I was able to meet with a designer, and although we weren't changing much in the kitchen, as we were keeping the original layout, he was able to suggest where we could make some visual architectural tweaks to make the kitchen pop more. I very much appreciated that I could see a full sketch on the computer versus a drawing layout. Once I committed there was a deposit and then the remaining half down and the rest upon completion. I did have a hiccup with the crown molding being a different color, but they were able to order the correct one and it was shipped out within a month. However, I had to pay to have my contractor remove the initial molding and put the new molding up. There were also issues with holes not lined for shelving which we just have to live with or at some point commit to making our own holes. This is pretty poor. It has been about 6 months and so far they are holding up.
