The store I had bought from for the first reno didn't have the tile in stock, so I shopped around for another source and found Wayne Tile online. However, it is a pretty common, old fashioned, kind of lumberyard. I see that there were many complaints regarding issues with the wood, cupping warping, color changes when items are substituted or replaced. One thing to understand, wood is a natural product and behaves in an unpredictable ways after being Milled and finished. While the customer wants their job to be perfect, it is often a tall order given the natural or unnatural characteristics of wood. There is no real cookie cutter technique when creating a custom wood project using unique and custom milled woods. Which is probably why you do not see a business like this in every town or county. I have never had them build anything for me or had them mill any of my lumber. So to critique this aspect of the business would be inappropriate. I will say that you will be hard pressed to find a yard with the diverse species available here. I will continue to use them for my wood needs. Prices are decent and the material is great, from what I have experienced.
