These guys are freakin' awesome! I brought my car to Absolute after a place in the city failed to repair my windshield properly. Absolute came to my work and fixed my windshield on the spot while I worked in my office. Love that. They did a superior repair job. Being prone to windshield incidents, I brought my car to them again when my car was hit by a rock and they sealed it right up for me on the spot! Absolute repairs more than just windshields; they fixed my glass table when a mirror fell on top of it and broke it in half. It had all sorts of cuts and angles to it but they made it look as good as new - you'd never know something happened to it! If you need your windshield replaced, you can stop looking. Chris at Absolute is the guy you want to see. Chris is a good ol' fashioned tradesman, and probably one of the remaining few left in the windshield replacement business. He understands how to do any job right, and I'm not just talking about replacing windshields; I think for him, it's just his life modus operandi. He replaced the windshield on my car, my baby. He even managed to salvage the original 'fastener' (the rubber surround that's directly attached to the body, where the moulding sits between the windshield). Mind you, the car's around 2 decades old, so it's not easy working with rubber/material that's so brittle and dry. I bet if I got the job done at a nationwide chain, this could NOT have been accomplished. If I had the budget, I would've purchased a windshield from factory, but I had to settle for one made in PROC on this project. Still, one variable in replacing a windshield I would not change: Chris. I unfortunately had a rock hit my windshield and sadly to no surprise a huge crack started to form. I knew their was only one person I had to call to fix this. I called and easily set up an appointment. Chris was wonderful with working with my busy schedule. He showed up at my house on time and did a beautiful job installing my new windshield!!! I would have used my Insurance Glass Company , but they were trying to charge $900++ , which I felt was a complete rip off. So I had my window replaced ,first by another local company out of the Yellow Pages, didn't do any research on them (Big Mistake!).They basically butchered my windshield by putting in the wrong windshield , and cutting my sensory wires [BMW]. Air was coming in on the side , with terrible glue fumes for three days ! They stopped answering my phone calls ..... Excellent service and reasonably priced. I had a crack that had been previously repaired but this winter, the crack started to migrate. Safelite quoted me over $400 to replace the windshield at their nearest location in Parsippany. I saw the Yelp reviews for Absolute Auto so I called them. They quoted me a much better price and would come to my home for no additional cost. Chris showed up right on time and had the new windshield installed in an hour. He even removed and re-positioned the inspection sticker without it looking like it had been through the washing machine! read more

My windshield broke because someone threw something at it while I was driving on rt 3. Needless to say, they got arrested and I was left with a broken windshield that looked like it got hit with a baseball. I did research and called Absolute Auto and Flat Glass. They quoted me to replace my windshield. Needless to say, it was painless. They did not jerk me around and charge me more. The price is extremely fair and competitive. The tech came with over 20 years in the business. The tech who came new everything. He did the install so fast. The best part, they do not charge to come to your house unlike Safelite. Safelite is not only a ripoff, but they charge you to come to your house. Absolute Auto Glass insisted on coming here because their tech would have been out on the road. The tech also came when they said he was. He was so polite. They cleaned up the mess and their quality of product is hands down second to none compared to Safelite who makes their own glass and charge you out the behind for it. I confidently recommend Absolute Auto Glass over any other glass repair/replacement company in NJ. I know that if my windshield breaks again or anyones windshield breaks, I will return to them without hesitation. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER COMPANY.
