A classic and unbelievable BAIT AND SWITCH company. DO NOT USE! I made an appointment for my Toyota FJ Cruiser, which needs a few specialty parts (I've had the windshield done before so I know this) and they quoted me $371. On the day of the install, the tech calls and said "I dont have the parts, they didn't tell me I needed them." Ok, very frustrating, but I rescheduled AND called back to CONFIRM that they knew what vehicle they were replacing. They said yes, all set. Then, on the morning of the second appointment, the tech called me and said, "Okay, so it will be $651." Yes, almost THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS more. I called the office and the guy said, "well, it's an FJ Cruiser and it needs special parts." Well no kidding, you knew that from the beginning! What an absolute joke and waste of my time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. There is no way they have a 4.7 out of 5 stars, that has to be fake. Run as fast as you can from this joke of a company. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY........... They replaced my windshield in my new vehicle and the next day it rained and yes it leaked all over my dash. In fact it rained the next two days so I spent untold time trying to not have my dash ruined. I called and got someone that said they would contact the manager who never called me back because it was "the Weekend". So on Monday i was on the phone and it took forever to get the manager of the Maple Shade, NJ location on the line. finally he agreed to to "FIX" the problems and to bring the vehicle back in which i did. well the very next rain the windshield leaked again worse than the first time. long story short after many phone calls they agreed to replace the windshield and would give me a credit for the problems. Here we are months later and a number of calls to manager i still have not received the credit promised. read more

Excellent service. They replaced my SUV's windshield at their shop while I waited in their guest lounge. Job was done in no time. Where to begin? In short the entire process of dealing with American Mobile Glass was let's say "smooth as glass". Right after my windshield was struck by a good size stone, some friends told me approximate cost to replace windshield. I started looking online to see who does this work. I came across AMG which offered an on line quote. The quote came in on the low end of my friends estimates. I called to set up an appointment and since I was opting to bring my car in rather than have the work done at my home the price was even lower. Extra bonus. After being stuck in rush hour traffic behind a convoy of those damned rock throwing sand trucks (the ones with the flimsy tarps over them), the inevitable happened - a rock came flying off it and cracked my windscreen pretty badly. I came very close to using "that big national chain" for the replacement service, but was kind of surprised that they wanted close to $400 for the on-site replacement! Cue American Mobile Glass. I'd seen the good reviews on Yelp for AMG, and figured I'd give them a call for a quote. Hey, worst case it's the same cost, right? Well, I'm happy to say that wasn't the case, and they clocked in at about $113 *cheaper* than the national chain. And on top of that, they were available for next-day service, on-site. My installer arrived around 11:30 on a Friday, and by 12:45 we were all done, with everything looking factory fresh. Service was incredibly friendly, professional, and they even made sure the window was nice and clean after putting it in, including re-attaching my EZpass and dashcam. For the price and service level? Yeah, I think I'm going to be using AMG from now on, whenever I need glass. These guys truly rock. read more

I used this company to replace my windshield and I normally believe you get for what you pay for so I was a bit hesitant to use them because they were the cheapest quote I received. Easy to work with, they came to my house, removed and installed a new windshield under an hour. They beat the prices of three other vendors by over $100. Quality work and quality people. I made an appointment over a week in advance for the AM, (appointments times are only AM or PM) only to be called at 8am on the day to be told they couldn't be there until after noon, around 3-5. I waited around all day and missed my afternoon class. At 5 I called the installer and he told me he wasn't going to be able to make it. The home office offered me $20 off if I wanted to reschedule, but the lack of a solid arrival time, the week long wait for my appointment, and being told first thing in the morning that he was running late and then not showing up or calling really turned me off to the business. Lots of reviews here say they were quick and efficient, but that was not my experience. I called another company and 24 hours later I had a new windshield on my car. read more

Worst experience ever. They cancelled an appointment due to the rain which I understand. They rescheduled with me and when I called the morning of to confirm they said they had no appointment and could not come because they returned the glass. The 'manager' I spoke to on the phone was rude and offensive. I asked why the glass was returned since they knew I had a claim with my insurance for them to complete the job but she could not explain why it was sent back even though I had another appointment. I would definitely not recommend this place based on their poor customer service and shoddy record keeping of appointments. read more

WOW! All I can say is wow. Great service. I called two days ago to repair my broken windshield, from a pebble that cracked my entire windshield (thanks route 80!) They had next day availability, but I had to schedule for a different day. American Mobile Glass sent me an email showing me who my technician would be and look like, which I thought was great so I knew who to look for. Martin came out to replace my windshield and he was so nice and friendly. He called me this morning to let me know he would be coming between 9-10AM, and he came at 9:15AM. It took all of 20 minutes! They were able to put my oil change sticker and inspection sticker on the new windshield too, which saves me a trip to the DMV! I had found a Groupon coupon for $60 off and my total was WAY less than Safelite. I would highly recommend. Thanks for your service! read more

AMG was hired by Geico when the front passenger window of my VW Eos had to be replaced because it was broken into. AMG was quite prompt in scheduling an appointment and ordering the original VW glass for replacement. However, the guy who came to replace the window, George, did a horrible job at doing the replacement. He finished the job in an hour and upon inspection I found that the passenger window did not roll all the way down. Upon taking a closer look I found that he had not cleared the glass pieced that were lodged in the door and they were jangling inside whenever the door was closed. Often glass pieces would come out of the the cracks in the door. I also noticed that one of the glass pieces lodged on the top edge had caused a chip in the brand new window. I was really disappointed and had to go back to an authorized dealership to clean up the glass pieces. Lesson learnt is that insurance companies will hire the cheapest parts and cheapest labor to get the job done. It is up to the consumer to demand proper service. read more

If I could, I would have given them no star for the service. My auto body shop hired AMG while replacing the rear bumper, and now I have back glass moldings flapping and hanging. Now I have to take another day off to get it re-fixed, but there seems to be no guarantee to get it fixed on that day. The representative keeps saying that the technician will call in the morning to give his exact ETA. I have to take time off from my work AGAIN because of their messed up work, and no apologies from them so far. Deeply dissapointed.
