Bobbie and Jemala delivered the pieces which are well made, 60+ years old and heavy as s--t! Everything was wrapped to protect it and placed perfectly up two flights of stairs! Once in place Bobbie polished each piece with care and spoke about the process he used to bring these pieces back to life. He applied just the right amount of matte, not too glossy. Just perfect. I have two more pieces to bring him and know they will be handled properly and look beautiful when done. My parents would be very happy with the restoration of their furniture!

It took him about two weeks to patch up the wall due to a lack of manpower, and he didn't do a very good job. We now have to hire someone to come and correct it. The downside is that since he didn't cover anything, he scratched my stove. I informed him via text, but he didn't reply. That was very disappointing on that front. Now I have to buy a top for my stove. However, besides everything else, Trevor did a good job in certain things. But he lacked in others.

We hired Trevor to refinish our kitchen cabinet boxes, replace our cabinet doors, build a small island in the kitchen and install crown molding. The project was riddled with delays, mistakes and poor workmanship. When we did attempt to speak to Trevor about some of these issues, he did not take ownership, so effective communication was very challenging. We actually fixed (and will continue to fix) a lot of the issues ourselves so as to avoid further conflict with him. The situation however, that exemplifies the whole experience with Trevor was the crown molding part of our project. 2 hours into crown molding day, he called me and said he "could not figure out the angles" and quit. Just quit. He left me with 3 incorrectly installed pieces of crown molding and walked off. He did not offer me any plan for moving forward and he did not try to make it right in any way. I had to find a contractor to come in and fix his mistakes, repair damage to my walls and install the crown molding. His lack of skill and professionalism was shocking. Trevor is a good salesperson, but please don't be fooled. I would strongly encourage anyone considering using Trevor to find a different contractor.

I encourage all folks to see the value of old furniture. Yes it can be expensive to refinish, but consider the craftsmanship & detail that went into pieces that can be decades or even over 100 years old. If you respect and value American made and the history of people before us who were the artisans of their time the pieces are so worth the investment.

The person who came to measure the apartment was friendly and professional as well. But the biggest shout out goes to Billy and Emil!!!! I cannot believe how hard they worked to get the job done. We had heavy furniture that they took care of without a second of annoyance. They were patient and thorough with the job which made us happy because we are just starting our home together and want it to be nice. BC and N is lucky to have these two working for them.
