CAJUN TATER TOTS and CAJUN BURGER
    Peggy W.

We ordered burgers for lunch today and I got the Cajun burger. The service was good, had order ready to be picked up and ready to go. My burger was very tasty, could have been cooked a tad longer but yummy all the same and the Cajun tots have a spicy seasoning sprinkled on them and a dipping sauce that is very good! I def recommend and I am sure we will order from there again.

My work team was ordering lunch, so I decided to as well. I had never eaten here, but everyone said they have good burgers. A nice juicy burger sounded delicious! After I perused the menu, I decided on the kid's meal which consisted of a burger, fries and drink. Boy am I glad I did! I added a few things to the burger, but was surprised at the size. It was much larger than I expected! The meat was juicy and had a good flavor, as well as the grilled onions and mushrooms. The lettuce didn't appear as fresh, but didn't taste bad.It could have used a little more ketchup & cheese. The fries were an appealing golden color and had a nice crispy outside with a soft inside. All in all it was a good choice. The kid's meal was the perfect portion for me, tasted good and was ready on time. I will be back

Customer service was nice. I'd actually ordered on DoorDash thinking it would be delivered but I later realized it was pickup only but that's my fault. Once I picked up the burger it was pretty cold but I still took a bite and it was juicy, flavorful, but the texture of the meat didn't do it for me. It's difficult for me to describe but it's like the patty is not very hardy. The meat is tender but not what I'd prefer for a burger. The restaurant seemed clean. It's down town so parking is yea.. but I found a park pretty easy right up front. Worth a try but not my favorite burger.

This is hands down the best burger I have ever had. I was staying in Birmingham for a couple of days in a hotel and had this delivered two days straight because it was that good. Highly recommend.

Decided to go here while on lunch, despite the bad reviews. I mean, how can you mess up a grilled cheese and fries? Well, I found out. I walked in to a restaurant with an odd smell. It doesn't really smell like the food or even cleaning supplies. Just..odd. I can't describe the off putting scent any other way. Ordered my kids grilled cheese and fries. It came out pretty quick! That was exciting, til I ate some fries. They were bland and cold, tasting almost like cardboard, even with condiments and salt. Next the grilled cheese. It was ok until I bit into it and it tasted like... something. It made me sick and had to spit it out. It almost tasted like the grill had not been properly cleaned, and remnants of previously cooked meat and cleaning supplies were left behind. All in all, a very disappointing lunch. I should have just eaten a bag of popcorn instead.

The Big Easy Burger with creole remoulade and fries

Randomly popped in one Saturday as I was running some errands and had been prompted to try this place as I kept seeing ads on my social media. Lol big brother is always watching. At any rate I tried the big easy burger, it has pepper jack cheese which I love and a creole remoulade sauce that I wanted to try. I was pleased with the burger the flavor was good, it was served hot and it was a sizable burger. The fries were ok. The remoulade certainly helped the seasoning aspect of the fries. I would recommend if you are in the area and want a quick bite. Location wise can be a bit tricky with parking so prepare for that. Solid burger plenty of options. Mask required upon entry

This is a definitely no for me. I think this will be my last time eating here. I had the impossible burger melt and my husband had the double bacon burger. He enjoyed it but I definitely didn't enjoy mines, but I am going to finish it because we don't waste food. However the Cajun tots are amazingly delicious and the sauce that comes with is good too. The vibe is definitely a burger vibe, no one goes out the way to help with your order or to just put on a smiley face when you come in. Typical I try to find the good in all things and I can say the tots were my good in this place. Also their shake machine was down( like they following McDonald's moto"shake machine down"). Anywho try it for yourself but as for me it's a no go.

Where are all the grilled onions? This is like a teaspoon full.

I ordered a single burger and O'fries on Grubhub to pickup quick for lunch. The order was ready pretty quick and service was friendly when I arrived. The food was "okay". The burger barely had any ketchup but had lots of mayo and mustard though. Lettuce was tough and wilted, not nearly enough grilled onions which I ordered on it. The O'fries were also "okay". The fries were dry as if they had been reheated and had no salt on them. The onion rings were alright but were all stuck together from not being separated when put in the fryer. Overall the meal was edible nothing to write home about or make me want to pay the ridiculous price again. Less than satisfactory food at an astronomical price. If you go to Burger King or Hardee's you'll pay half the price for probably a better meal.

I need as many places walking distance to my work as I can get, so I'm very thankful Wayback burgers opened up as does every other hospital worker I'm sure. Their menu seems pretty simple and basic, which can make decision making quick and easy. Seven different burgers and a few burger alternatives like chicken sandwiches. What goes with a burger? A milkshake! I tried a black and white milkshake. It was half chocolate and half vanilla. It was decent, I have had better though.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the burgers. The Wagyu beef patties were excellent--juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also tried one of their hot dogs, and it was very good as well. The bun was soft, fresh, and really complemented the toppings. The fries were crispy and tasty, making for a solid side. For our meal, we ordered the Chili Ray Cyrus burger with fries ($13.29), an Al Capone hot dog ($8.79), a Blueprint burger ($11.29), and two fountain drinks ($2.79 each). Our total came to $48.69, including tax and tip. The only thing keeping this from being a five-star review is the pricing. While the quality of the food is undeniable, almost $9 for a hot dog felt a bit steep, especially considering it's just the hot dog without a side. If the prices were a little more reasonable, I'd have no problem giving this place five stars. Overall, the food quality exceeded my expectations, and I'd definitely return when I'm in the area. If you're looking for a well-cooked Wagyu burger or a quality gourmet hot dog, Whiskey Foxtrot is worth checking out--you'll just want to be prepared for the premium pricing.
