Horrible customer service! I was in the middle of being helped when the employee decided to help a different customer that had just walked in the door (we were the only ones in the store). After I patiently waited for 25 minutes and he finished with them, I asked if he would finish helping me. He looked at me with a puzzled look and told me to be patient with an attitude and that he would help me when he was ready. Ugh. They have the worst customer service is I have ever received! Also, they will try to sale you on products that make them more money over other products they might have even if the other product is better. I find that other grow stores are usually competitive on pricing and much more honest when it comes to advice and service. Also, they are not a local business anymore. They may have a local store front but thats the same as saying Star Bucks or Wal-Mart is local. Way To Grow is corporate owned and corporate operated. Do yourself and your economy a favor and look for true locally owned and operated business. When you buy from them you might pay a few dollars more but you are supporting your local economy, family and friends. I went to the store on 57th and frontage arrived was greeted by an extremely rude guy who when I went to ask if I could ask him a question he responded did you call which is in none of there advertisement, Guy stated No You Didn't Call and shut the door ,I would not spend the time or money if they were the last place for soil what a rude ass person so don't waste your time . I thought I would give them the chance after hearing how horrific and pushing sales they were , well the stories matched up with the behavior didn't get a chance on the sales part as they would not let me in or others behind me so don't spend a dime go somewhere they can actually relate to the costumer and be courteous enough to answer a question since i had not been there and traveled across town to shop at their store also if you don't know the area it is tricky to find . read more

They recently went through a renovation, which was much needed. They stock a wide variety of items, although about 50% of the time I go they don't have what I need, although they stock it, Their staff is pretty knowledgeable. They have fantastic prices (thanks price wars) and the location can't be beat. Also to note they are the only Canna dealer in the state so they got that going for them. They should open at 9am, it would make life easier if these Hydro stores all didn't keep bankers hours. read more

Let me just get to the point. Direct Customer Service is ALL you have over online sales, when you slack on that you lose more customers to online merchants. My specific situation is i buy the same nutes every month, but every month i come into the store to pay for them, i then have to pick them up at the warehouse behind it. So i figured this time I'll call to have them in store because i don't have an hr for the trip to the store let alone the extra 5-10 mins to do CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS job of running to the warehouse. Either way Scott said he'll grab it but when i showed to pick it up he proceeded to let me know he didn't grab it and that i had to go back and pick it up. Now you're no longer my first resort but my last. Online brings it right to my door so that's who you lost a home run customer too. Hopefully this helps y'all keep all your other customers. This store has become crap!!! After Cory sold out . Been shopping with them from 2006 and will Not ever shop here again!!! The staff at the Denver store needs to Be fired!!! Came in on a Sunday. Seems like the employees do not give a sh** at all. Understandable when you are a sixteen year old, but these were fully adult grown men. Came in looking for a certain brand of nutrients. Asked a customer service employee what a good substitute was. He didn't know, said he was going to go look it up or to order it online. We waited for him to come back and he never did. Looked it up myself. Had questions about lights, couldn't answer them and didn't try. Purchased some nutrients. Overall the guy had a sh**y childish attitude, like I was irratating him for bothering him with work at his work. They did work well, only reason I am giving this a 1 instead of a zero. However overall his suggestion to order online was actually a really good point. Maybe he was just looking out. Prices were not competitive, and selection was lacking. Better off going online. Terrible salesmen. This was several months ago, which to sign up for yelp just to make a review because it left a bad taste is pretty sad. read more

I offered that I am a first-time grower and I wanted to grow some dope from clones. Their man said he'd set me up. I still wonder, why'd he sell me a 1000 watt super HPS grow lamp. The light cooked my poor clones. The only other grower I know says I should have a 400 watt lite. It doesn't feel like I should trust Way To Grow. Very disappointed. read more

I have been to almost every grow store in the state, and this takes the cake. these guys not only know plants, but will go the extra mile to get you what you need. I special ordered some canadien nutes which were hard to get, and these guys coordinated it all for me, emailing and calling me to keep me in the loop on my order, and still discounting it for me as I ordered a bunch. It is huge, they also have a large warehouse space around back. Super cheap CO2 as well. read more

Tried these guys again looked specifically for an Xtreme Nano ballast. The guy told me that they don't sell that and its a "crap" ballast and then tried to upsell me to a Galaxy Grow amp because it was "better". What made it better? The select a watt option. For what? The Nano is 1000w, very small, quiet and low heat. That's what I needed. Not the option of less power. Dude didn't listen, disparaged MY ballast of choice, tried to upsell for a STUPID unnecessary reason and then literally WALKED AWAY mid sentence to ring up another customer rather than finish with me.
