The matchstick fries are always crispy too, not too thick or heavy. Meals come with coleslaw and Texas toast, and both are delicious additions. Their signature sauce is a must. I'm not sure what's in it, but it's so good and pairs perfectly with everything. This location is a bit more tight, the parking lot and drive through area. It's a fast-food concept that keeps things very simple with a limited menu: chicken tenders, fries, and a sandwich. We tried the 4 Chicken Fingers combo with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and the recommended Arnold Palmer, sweet tea mixed with lemonade which was refreshing and enjoyable. My favorites were definitely the Texas toast and the coleslaw. The toast was lightly crisp with a buttery garlic finish that made it easy to enjoy. The coleslaw was fresh with a nice crunch and well-balanced creamy without being overly tangy or sweet. The chicken itself was tender but fairly mild. It was okay on its own and really relies on the sauce to bring the flavor together. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with self-serve fountain drinks and tea, and lemonade available at the counter. Service was prompt, location clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was okay. Sometimes simple works and sometimes it's just that: simple. If you have kids, the outdoor seating is perfect because they can run around the plaza while you relax and eat. It makes it a lot less stressful than a typical sit-down restaurant with little ones. This location has a giant drive through, so it seems like it can handle a lot of drive through orders, although it was not very busy when I came. In terms of dining in, there are more tables outside than inside (the inside dining area is actually kinda small). All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, and my order came out quickly and piping hot. In terms of Raising Canes in general, I feel like Raising Canes is kinda like the In-N-Out of chicken restaurants. The menu is focused on a small set of foods, and those foods are done well. I'd only give it four stars though because I prefer other places' tenders and the food options they offer more, specifically the sauce options (I'm not the biggest fan of the Canes sauce). But the Texas toast and French fries are really good. On a sustainability note, I'd also wish they didn't serve everything in styrofoam containers. I feel like there is a more sustainable and Earth friendly option than styrofoam.

The drive-thru operation here is impressive and it moves incredibly fast and from what I witnessed there was practically no waiting time, even with a steady flow of cars. The entire location was very clean and well maintained, which always makes a big difference when trying a new place. What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone had a smile, greeted customers, and seemed genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience feel positive from the moment you walk in. There's also plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, which is great if you want to sit and enjoy your meal instead of just grabbing it to go. Now for the food the chicken was juicy, fresh, and perfectly crispy. You can really tell it's made to order. I ordered the 4-piece meal that comes with crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast, and honestly you need to come hungry because it's a lot of food. Everything was hot and fresh, and the toast was buttery and perfectly grilled. Of course, you can't talk about Cane's without mentioning their famous Cane's sauce. It's their "secret sauce," and it's hard to pinpoint exactly what's in it, but it's incredibly flavorful and pairs perfectly with the chicken and fries. The lemonade tasted freshly squeezed, not overly sweet like many fast-food drinks. It was light, refreshing, and the perfect balance to the meal. Overall, the experience was great, fast service, friendly staff, a clean environment, and delicious food. If you enjoy simple menus that focus on doing one thing really well, this place is definitely worth trying. I'll definitely be going back.

I ordered take out and there were probably a dozen employees behind the register and off to the side handling drive thru orders? Anyway, despite all the employees no one could tell me where pick up for take out orderes was. No signs and this was very annoying. How can they not know this?!? Finally got the food and went home. I ordered the Butterburger with cheddar. I thought it was pretty good. Nothing too memorable but not bad at all. I am glad I ordered the large fry because I shared these with my Mom and well, there wasn't too many fries for a large. A medium must be super skimpy. She got the Culver's Deluxe including tomato and American cheese. I took a bite to see which I liked better and surprisingly, the burgers tasted the same!! She did have tomato but it had zero flavor. The American cheese tasted like my cheddar. Odd or maybe they just put the same cheese on each one. I assume mine was not cheddar because there was no distinctive flavor. For a company based off their love of Wisconsin cheese, I was not impressed with the cheese on the burgers. Oddly enough, what stood out to me most about the whole meal was the cheddar cheese sauce for $1.79. This was excellent and I would actually stop at Culver's just for this. It was still warm when I ate it at home. I was really anxious for the Concrete and it is nothing to write home about. I got vanilla custard with mini M&Ms and fudge. It was OK. Certainly not bad but I am not on the Culver's bandwagon. The burgers look so sad in the photos. :(

Maple and Cream - Honest Review…read more I wanted to like this place, but overall it just wasn't for me. The service was great--staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. The ambiance is also really nice, with a clean, trendy setup that's clearly going for a Southern-style brunch vibe. They definitely nailed the look and feel. They also offer a military discount, which I appreciated. Just a heads up though--a 20% tip is automatically included, so keep that in mind when you get the bill. That said, the food didn't match the experience. The menu leans heavily into Southern-style comfort food, but it ends up being too heavy and a bit overpriced for what you get. Food Breakdown: * Chicken & Waffles (5/10): The waffle was actually really good--great texture and flavor. But the chicken threw me off. It was cooked, but the inside had a pink color that made it hard to enjoy. On top of that, there was way too much paprika, which overpowered everything. * Banana Bread Latte (10/10): This was . Easily the best thing I had. Super flavorful, smooth, and perfectly balanced. One of the best lattes I've had. * Cinnamon Rolls (4/10): Not terrible, but inconsistent. One had some type of filling while the others didn't, and overall it felt like it was missing a glaze or sauce to tie it all together. * Potato Chips (10/10): Surprisingly one of the highlights. Fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor. * Pancakes (2/10): Fluffy texture, but the flavor was off. It tasted like a mix of vanilla or banana, and once you add syrup, it becomes way too sweet. * The Daily Grind (Egg Plate): * Eggs: decent, nothing special * Sausage: had jalapeño inside but tasted dry * Bacon: thick, hard, maple-smoked flavor--not great for breakfast (would be better on a burger) * Biscuit: not bad, but a little dry (4/10) Overall: Great service, good ambiance, and nice perks like the military discount--but the food just didn't deliver. It felt too heavy, overly seasoned, and inconsistent, especially for the price. Final Rating: 3/5 Saved by the latte, chips, and overall experience--but I probably wouldn't come back for the food.

Since it was close by our hotel, we took a walk there for dinner: two chicken restaurants for consecutive meals was probably too much. Pollo Campero is primarily a Central American fried chicken chain, with 350 locations worldwide. It was originally founded in 1971 in Guatamala. They are currently in a rapid expansion in the U.S., with this location being one of a dozen in Florida. The state with the most is California, and I'll have to look out for them when back home. You order and pay up front, just like a fast food restaurant. But the food was delivered on real plates and metal utensils to our table once ready and it came very fast. 4 piece Fried chicken with campero beans and campero rice ($15) - I thought the fried chicken was OK. It did come with a dippable campero sauce, a mayo based sauce with spices. The rice was decent, but wish the beans were a bit different than the standard tasteless pinto beans. Campero sandwich ($7.60) - version of a chicken sandwich. Good brioche bun, and a decently juicy fried chicken breast. Campero Bowl ($12.40) - wasn't very good and ended up being very dry. The grape tomatoes were mushy and not edible, and the greens were limp. The fried chicken on top didn't really add much flavor, and the rice was dry with the pinto beans being the same. I did like the avocado chunk along with the corn salad. Individual empanada ($3.10) - small, very thin crust. The filling was tasty but there wasn't much of it. It has a self serve soda machine with Pepsi products. Since the plates were reusable, assumed that they would bus.
