I think it's that little sauce that they give you let me explain first let's talk about the location it's located here in Hollywood and 441 on the Washington so it's a pretty nice place can't complain it's your average Mama pops one would say nothing too fancy but nothing out of the ordinary as well which that's what you want from a place like. this you just wanna go in or do your food sit down and enjoy it and we quickies that exact exactly what happened Now as soon as you walk in they're very polite they actually where can I get you they also ask you know what options do you want if you don't really know about the things on the menu so I would say the service is top notch. It's a good burger I'm not gonna lie and that's why I'm always there at least once a week because if you go also you have to try their fries is something about that spice they put on top of the fries makes a big difference and that's why this place is always on my list to go to because they do the little things correctly The foodie ninja shall return Here's my review Food 5/5 Location 5/5 Service 5/5 Price 5/5

Best Burger Spot in Broward County -- PERIOD!…read more I've been coming to North South Grill in Pembroke Pines since 2021, and I'm honestly surprised I haven't written a review sooner. Guys, hands down, this is the BEST burger spot in Broward County -- PERIOD! This is a husband-and-wife-owned restaurant, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into this place. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care, and the service always makes you feel welcome. If you're in the mood for a smash burger, steak sub, chicken sandwich, or chicken tenders, this is the place to go. Everything I've tried has been excellent, and after coming here for years, they continue to deliver. I love supporting local, family-owned businesses, especially when the owners take this much pride in what they do. North South Grill is a Pembroke Pines gem and absolutely worth checking out. Highly recommended! *1000000 if I can

They also have personalized coloring book pages and crayons for guests to do which is a nice touch. The menu has many options to choose from. Our table got the chance to try some of the popular food items. We had the Philly cheez (no mushrooms by request), fries, a blooming onion, chicken tendies, jalapeño double burger, loaded smash, and I believe the spicy chicken. We also had their peach tea, dragon fruit and strawberry mint drinks. I enjoyed the jalapeño double burger, fries, and strawberry mint drink.

I ordered the titan tortilla and added caramelized onion. There wasn't a single onion, the chicken was so dry it may as well have been sand, and there was no sauce in it at all. Disgusting. They didn't even slice it in half and it was barely held together. A bunch of teenagers work there. It's a mess.

We said we wanted them how they are described on the menu and he proceeded to start reading off a list of items for each one. Some belonged, some didn't and we had to try and figure out which was which. You should be able to order the burger as it is supposed to be and move on. We got a table and then proceeded to wait over 30 minutes for 2 burgers. When the food arrived, my angry cow burger wasn't so angry since it was missing the jalapeños it was supposed to come with. I then had to go back up and wait to get someone's attention to get my jalapeños. The only saving grace was the food itself which was ok but probably tasted a bit better than actual cause we were starving at that point. Disappointing visit.

I used to enjoy stopping here, but after this experience, I won't be returning. If you're looking for good customer service and reasonably priced coffee, I'd recommend going somewhere else.

But I went with the fish sandwich because I read reviews that said it was amazing. Wellll, those people were right. It was so good. The batter was nice and crisp and the fish was cooked to perfection. I had mine without cheese and added pickles instead, which was elite. Also got some pretzel bites as a side, which was absolutely delicious. I love the cheese sauce, but the pretzels themselves were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. They were so good I ordered them a second time a few days later. But unfortunately, that time they weren't fresh and seemed a little overcooked or something. Hence, why I took off a star for this review. The restaurant is really clean inside and had kind of a home-y vibe inside which was nice. Next time I definitely need to try the custard.

A couple small things:    *   It was very cold inside, which made dining in a bit uncomfortable    *   The trash setup made it hard to dispose of the to-go containers they put the food in, but staff came by quickly to clean up Overall, a good experience with solid food and service.
