This location has a confounding entry for gasoline which is from a major road that can gets backed up easily as I witnessed, which in this case I think is dangerous. This was a huge concern and after driving in the parking lot and realizing I needed to enter from the road quite disappointing as well. This Costco Gasoline station is at the Davie location. Whenever I can, I try to get my gas at Costco to save on gas and I was in the area so I stopped by this location. The format of this gas station is horrible. The intersection for the entrance is already pretty busy and if the line gets long, the line ends up forming straight from the side road. The wait was pretty normal but I ended up having a truck back into my car with no remorse. There was a couple of the workers around and nobody seemed to care or mind. I'd probably avoid this gas station or end up paying more to go to a different gas station. read more

One of the perks of paying for a wholesale membership card like Costco is the discounted gas prices. The gas line is usually always long and stretched out to 595. If the line is long and backed up to 595 it can be difficult to get into the gas station when leaving the wholesale store due to all the blockage and allowing one way to get in. I learned to stop and get gas first and enter from 595 entrance instead. I also learned that it is better to come during closing, as the line is better. I do like that there is always workers present for assistance at the pumps. I don't like how narrow the space is to drive around the cars to either get to a available pump or to exit out. My recent visit, I was on the last row and it was extremely tight to get out. Another thing I should mention is that it is Costco and for "credit cards" they only accept Visa and other payment network would have to be pin debit. read more

You can get gas just about anywhere. So why go here? Because the prices are consistently lower than average...for Costco members. When you get to the pump, you have to insert your active Costco card and THEN the credit/debit card to buy the gas. (I have a Citicard that was issued by Costco with my pic on it so it serves as both in the store but I've not tried it at the gas pump.) I love that there are people to guide drivers who're apparently fast asleep behind the wheel - rousing them to pull up and stop holding up the lines! Oh, how I wish every gas station had them! There are MANY lines and often the lines are long but it usually moves - likely because the people beckon the drivers to the pumps that are free. Usually I get gas after I get my groceries (sometimes I get it first if I'm getting lots of refrigerated foods) and I think most people get gas after buying food. They likely want to get home so that keeps the lines moving too. There's a garage right by the gas station part - besides seeing the bays, the gas station has a sign hawking tire care. It works because it reminds me to think of them when we need tires. Both of us have had tires installed there through the years (my husband just ordered tires on sale and when they came in he brought his car in to have them installed). I don't usually think about servicing my car when I pump gas but here I do - it's fortuitous that they have the auto care area so close to the pumps! The only time it's CRAZY at the gas station part is before a hurricane or major holiday where people drive - do what I do - go shopping first, get some delicious snack and put on some tunes while you wait! read more

I was in the area of Davie,FL and stopped here to fill up my vehicle. This location is crazy busy but try coming here in the evening before closing time on a weeknight and it's not that bad. Like other locations, this Costco has many pumps to fill up gas. You can park on either side and not have a problem filling up. I like that they have one employee in that area for if you need assistance or if you feel unsafe alone. It was a quick visit here for me. Costco is one of my top places for filling up fuel because the price is always one of the best around in the area. Been a member of Costco for years and it's worth it. One tip I learned over the years for filling up the car: Best time to put gas in your car is morning or evening. It's because oil expands with the rise of temperature and that's usually in the afternoon time. It causes to have less energy generation that in turn causes to fuel to burn faster. read more

How do I review a gas station? Price-wise, Costco consistently can't be beat. I live about the same distance between this Costco and the Pompano Beach Costco on Sample Rd. This Costco Gas station is far superior in terms of layout and organization. It is larger, has enough space for cars to wait, and especially to maneuver to vacant front pumps, and to leave middle pumps. Consequently the lines move faster, or at least seem to move faster. Getting out is a bit of an ordeal as the exit is designed to bring you to the store parking lot to spend more money, instead of back to the street. Ah, Costco is strategic! read more

This one place I am so glad to become a member of. I don't have to worry about looking for the cheapest price around town and it is close to my job so I just go during lunch. I didn't even know Costco had gas at this location but learned about it from Yelp. Located on the back North side of the property. It has an awkward entry to the right than you sit and wait in lines so long you would think it is either FREE ,there is a gas shortage and or hurricane coming. None of these options had occurred. Much larger set up than the Aventura location. Here you pull up to three pumps on one side in Aventura it is only two. When I started pumping the machine with card reader is antiquated as Aventura was upgrade months ago. Would I come here for gas again NO. Unfortunately I needed gas as the light went on my dashboard and thought it would be good. But I like to save just as much as the next person but time is money and the trade off of my precious day off on a Tuesday afternoon makes zero sense. read more

Love this gas station but I hate the long lines. There are multiple lanes and they're all 3 pumps per lane. But one setback this gas station has is the funneling of cars through one lane. If they would remove the unnecessary parking area where the cars have to move through, it would make for an easier entrance and exit through the lanes. Costco's gas station makes it really worth it to have the membership. Their price is normally a couple of dimes below the cheapest gas stations. Costco Gas is on the north side of Costco and has I believe 9 pumps with hoses long enough to go on either side of a vehicle. So don't worry about where your gas tank is your going to get great gas do to some well thought planning by someone! Applause to Costco putting this in a perfect area! If I only want gas I can easily get to it and avoid the store customers as there is a separate drive to access the gas. I try to post prices as often as I can. The other day reg was $2.51 and Prem $2.95. Score!! Loving these prices and the hours of operation are A+++ Opens early 0600 - 9:00pm weekdays. I love going to Costco, where you can find big batches of almost anything. This time, we went the day before Thanksgiving, figuring it would be a nightmare. Oddly enough, there were actually a number of parking spaces. Our daughter didn't even have to get out of the car and direct traffic, which actually happened once at the Boca location. We really wanted some crabs for a Thanksgiving picnic and we figured they would be doing their "Seafood Road Show." We weren't disappointed. There they were with a bunch of really nice seafood, especially the crabs. We've had them before and they're always good. We also got some really nice fresh produce. Of course you have to grab a parka from the clothing section to wear when you go into the refrigerated area.....yes, we've done that. The check-out line was amazingly short and we were out in record time. The next day, we packed up my mother-in-law, crabs, sourdough and fresh pie and went off to the beach. If you are renting a car in FLL and you're a Costco member, this is a must stop on your departure. As you know, gas price is much cheaper here. The lines can be quite long so leave yourself at least 15 mins in line and at the pump before you head to FLL which is only 10 mins away. The Costco gas near my home has one attendant helping customers out, but this one has several attendants waving people up to a free pump in an attempt to get you thru as fast as possible. Note that all of the lines have three pumps and often a middle pump might free up, so the attendant will wave you instead of you waiting behind the buy in front of you. They DO NOT have diesel gas here and of course, you must be a Costco member to buy gas. read more

It seems like Costco gas is always $0.10-$0.15 cheaper than regular gas stations. You really can't beat that. Pros: cheapest gas around and the pumps have super long hoses on them so you can pull up to any pump regardless of you tank location. Cons: there are always a lot of cars waiting to buy gas (the line reminds me of the day before a hurricane is supposed to hit); my car's gas mileage drops 1 to 3 miles per gallon on this gas but it doesn't cause knocking or any other noise; and it's a pain to get in/out of this Costco location. Basically, if you're a Costco member who is in the area, needs gas and has a few extra minutes to wait in line, you really should be buying your gas here. Can't beat it for the price. read more

What can I say? Costco has cheaper gas than the normal gas stations. You will not see the gas station from University as you have to drive behind the store to access the gast station. There are 15 pumps where the hose reaches either side of your vehicle, so you can just pull up to the shortest line and pump. You will have to scan your Costco card- and Costco strategically only takes AMEX so you will need to use a debit card, gift card, or cash. They are open earlier than the store during the week at 6 am. and 7 am. on the weekends. Of course, while you are there, it is worth a walk inside for a 1/4lb hotdog and a soda for $1.80. Ask for the sauerkraut and red pepper sprinkles if you like them. Love Costco- their quality is always top notch! read more

This is weird. Writing a review for a gas station. However, here it goes. If anyone that has a Costco card, they should be filling their gas here. There is an app that tells you the gas prices around the area and I can confirm that Costco gas is always the cheapest (average of $.30 to $.40 less per gallon for premium). They are also listed as a "Top Tier " gas location. This means they meet the higher standards for detergents and gas performance than the EPA requires. For more information please search Top Tier Gas. Everyone should try to avoid peak times when filling up. Lines could be quite long. I forgot to mention that their hoses are long or extended. This allows people to choose any lane to fill up. This adds to the convenience factor for the driver to choose the shortest line. read more

I love the fact I can get gas when shopping at Costco. I'm happy with their lower gas price compared to other gas stations in the area. BUT!!! One recommendation I can make is that they either need a red/green light that drivers in line can see from the back if the pump is available or not. It is so hard to see whether the first pump has somebody or not especially when the third pump has a huge truck:) people usually don't point or anything either...instead somebody from different lane who can see the availability would cut you off and take the spot. Always a long line but it moves very quickly. Gas is always much cheaper here than at the gas stations. Pick any lane that is available when you pull up. The hoses stretch around the car so it doesn't matter what side your tank is on. The lines always seem intimidating but trust me, they move fast. There is always the occasional person who doesn't know what they are doing or they are chit chatting with someone and holding up the line, but we can't help that. I mean, if you pay for a Costco membership to enjoy warehouse pricing and deals, why wouldn't you take advantage of using their gas station? They still don't accept debit here, but they do accept any Visa credit card (much more convenient than when they used to only accept American Express!). The lines during the weekdays are not bad at all. However, if you do your shopping over the weekend and decide to fill up, be prepared to wait.
