Wawa is popping up everywhere. This one is one of the newer ones. We stopped by for a late night snack since we were on vacation and staying nearby. Wawa is know for their grinders, desserts, and snacks. I love their chicken salad grinders. Of course, some baked goods, chips, and drinks. This place was packed even later in the evening. I love that they have a kiosk you can order from. Overall, definitely a nice Wawa and we enjoyed getting our treats there. read more

A great new addition to Plantation (and super close to me so that's dangerous). This Wawa is the newest gas station and addition to the city of Plantation. Everytime that I have come here (which is too many at for being this new) my order has been made perfectly. I will say that I have to take my one star off because the handful of times I've been here, it has taken a real long time to get my food because they only have 1 or 2 people working, especially during peak hours. I always get a chicken cheesesteak and love it every time! The chicken is aplenty and it is very nice and juicy. The cheese they put on it has the right flavor and more than enough to have a nice cheese flavor with each bite I take. The bread is always crispy and fresh as well! The location is super clean and always well stocked. I've found some cool snacks here and tried new coffees of theirs as well! I love their cold brew because it has the right amount of strength to it and it never has too much ice to water it down! Imagine my excitement when this location opened finally last month after waiting for over a year! I love Wawa and this location definitely increases my appreciation for it! When I first arrived it had been about a week of it being opened and so while it was a little busy it wasn't anything that made the experience troublesome. I ordered a combo meal with the meatball hoagie and side of broccoli cheddar. Unfortunately, they were out but were able to accommodate with an alternative so I ordered the chicken strip hoagie. Not bad. The only thing I noticed was due to them being recently opened and the increase in orders, it did take a bit for my order to be ready. To be fair they are making it fresh as well as the staff getting into the groove of things so definitely be patient and understanding! I enjoyed my meal and the soups are always pleasant especially when we experience this rare Florida "cold". Their gas is great too. I remember filling up my entire tank at a nice affordable price compared to other gas stations I frequent. Will be regularly coming here! read more

Wawa just opened on Friday and it was BUSY! They have some Grand Opening specials going on but they end today. You can get a short hoagie for $4, 16 oz milkshake for $3, any size Fountain Drink, Icee or Iced Coffee for $.99 and of course free coffee (any size)! Gas was even $2.79/gallon. The store seems a little smaller than other locations. The counter where they prepare your food is straight ahead and to the left. I don't know if it's because it just opened, but when you walk in, there are a bunch of people standing just inside the door waiting to pick up their orders so you have to maneuver around them. New location and new employees and a whole lot of excitement. It wasn't too busy inside but there must have been alot of online orders because the service was pretty slow. It also didn't help that many people seemed to have never been to a Wawa so they held up the line trying to figure out how to order and where to pick up and pay. The service beside being slow, was friendly and competent. They were helpful and looked very busy. The store was well stocked with everything from the "dipping dot style" pebble ice cream to fresh made meals. The coffee area is also quite extensive in flavors, addins, and creamer options. I liked that for a convenience store, there were quite a few healthy options including a burger with no bun. Convenience is key and this place checks that box. read more

I went to this Wawa right before Christmas because I had to work early in the AM. And Wawa was the only place open when I had to head out. So I went to buy a quick espresso shot and some chocolate milk to make my own makeshift mocha thinking it'd be quick. Wow, was I wrong! They had 1 person working the food and coffee. And the person who was working that area had no idea how to work the espresso machine. Took her and 2 other ppl to figure it out. It took 15 minutes (no line I might add at 5am) to draw a shot of espresso. As an added bonus, while there I was observing 2 sketchy guys scoped the site out and go back and forth with shop lifting various items- sodas, ice cream, chips. When I saw it I notified 1 employee who said "oh, really?" And kept about her business. So when I went to pay up front I told the cashier who said "thanks for letting em know but we're not supposed to do anything". I'm not asking for them to confront because that's dangerous. However what can be done is put someone by the door and watch as a deterrent or even just putting someone in the entrance area. Unfortunately not the best Wawa, Speed is not the best 1st time I went I was in there for about 30 minutes for 3 items, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt I went back again for just two strawberries lemonade over 30 minutes well today was the last draw for us, we order breakfast at 5:30am it said it would be ready by 5:45 for pick up and for us to be trusting them that all food would be in bag, 3 hash browns we order were not in the bag and we order our toddler the kids meal breakfast and got expired milk. read more

I was happy when this was being built since the closest one to me is 4 miles away. I went to get a few items and my favorite frozen mocha. For some reason most of the frozen drinks were taken off of the menu. I ordered a drink that was my usual fourth choice. I have a gift card that I transferred to the app and shows a $92 balance. When they tried to scan it, it "failed". I still have the card so I tried to swipe it in the card reader and it also "failed". The clerk was no help and I had to use my debit card. I then waiting 20 more minutes for my drink. I will be driving to the location further away since I am sure none of these things would happen there since the staff is also super helpful and seem to want you to leave happy. read more
